TS1559 Wi-Fi Was Greyed Out

My iPhone's WiFi was working great on iOS 6.0.1 till 13th Feb'13 no problems whatsoever, until yesterday it failed over night without me knowing. The WiFi option was still available but unable to connect to my home network and when I rebooted the phone, the WiFI was greyed out. It has not been working since.
Somehow i manageed to install 6.1.1 and i thought it may fix the problem but same problem...the WiFI is still greyed out. I do not understand why it has failed. I bought this 4S in July and have never dropped it .The WiFi was working great till yesterday and suddently this happened. I won't understand what kind of application/phone Apps have released. Its seem they are just want to stay in the market instead giving a good service to their customer.
I have reseted the network settings, restored the phone and even tried using the phone as new and this has still not fixed the problem.
Never expect such kind of phone from a company like Apple.

Exactly the same ranjan, I only went up to Sheffield on Monday from Nottingham (£15 Fuel) beacuse I had a fault with my previous 4s, To be fair they were as good as gold and swapped it there and then.
I have updatted like yourself and as of today my WIFI button has been grey all day, I have switched it on/off reset network settings and nothing.
I AM EXTREMLY DISAPOINTED IN APPLE

It takes two to Tango. But it was technically a Software Error in the boot sequence, but the Hardware is actively reading the boot information and has to respond accordingly. Sounds like it was a one time glitch. Keep an eye on it. You iPhone still has full Warranty.

hello ptbruce, you probably only selected to open (not save) the video which will download it into windows temporary folder where it gets deleted again after it has been used. <br>you could try to right-click the entry in the firefox download manager and copy the link of the source file and try if you can download it through this url again. otherwise you'll have to contact the vendor of the video to find a solution...

You need to export a self-contained video from FCP 6. Import the self-contain video into Compressor 4.

Nano 4th gen library was greyed out. Tried to access on new laptop. Got pop upasking permission to get access. Deleted library. How Can I retrieve or reverse?

Have a 4th gen, Nano. Original iTunes library was on old computer that no longer works. Was able to access iTunes on new laptop but songs were greyed out tried to get them released w/o success. If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

Correct, my cellular data is currently off. I don't think this will solve my problem because I was able to use iMessage before without my data and only on wifi. If nothing else works, I will try this. But I would like to try to find a solution that doesn't require me using data.

For internal activitiy, there was "Person Assignment" tab and there is a list of people who got assigned to the activity. However, some people's names just greyed out and we cannot make any changes to them.
What are possilbe reasons? How to correct?

Ok....I have researched this until my eyes are red...I want an answer before I purchase this product.....So how do I access the greyed out filters in Adobe cc 2014\.PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME ABOUT 8 BIT, RGB OR PREFRENCES I HAVE TRYED ALL OF THAT AND NOTHING WORKS. TS1559 Iphone 4s Bluetooth greyed out and unavalible

Help.... The Bluetooth on my Iphone 4s stopped working a few days ago. When reviewing the general settings the Bluetooth (word) is greyed out and reads unavaliable. If i select the bluetooth option, there is a on off toggle swith, but it is greyed out as well and will not allow me to turn it on. I have tried turning the Air Plane mode on and off, rebooting, resetting the network and finally a total restore. Nothing has worked to fix this problem.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Restore as new, if that fails to resolve take it to Apple for evaluation.

So i'm travelling in Vietnam. Staying at this hotel, my ipod suddenly stopped being able to search for wifi, and constantly had the 'circle' indicating loading.. however my music and apps were still intact. However, i restarted my ipod, and when i turned it back on it said had no songs and no videos when i loaded Music, and when i tried using apps they showed the initial default screen of the app and then crashed. i tried connecting it to itunes, but itunes said it could not read the ipod, so it suggested i restore it. i googled solutions but none of them worked, and my music for itunes is scattered in my laptop and my computer back home. not being able to find solutions, i restored my ipod, and so now all my music is gone. i have to say im extremely disappointed with Apple for not giving solutions that work. im sure countless other people have this problem ( from what i read on forums, they do) . anyone had this problem and actually fixed it without restoring? i'd like to know for the future. thank you.

Here is Apples' troubleshooting for grayed out wifi. Frequently however, it does not solve the problem and an appointment at the Genus Bar of a an Apple store is in order.

do a reset, no data loss. HOld down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

'Sender was rejected by server', SMTP greyed out?

Today when trying to send an email I received the message 'Sender was rejected by server'. I tried deleting my account and re-adding it, which didn't work, and I tried going to the SMTP server to type in my username and password but the area was greyed out so I was unable to type anything! Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated - this is swiftly becoming frustrating since my iPad had been working perfectly until now!

Yes, I do indeed use Yahoo Mail.
I don't know how relevant this may be but I created an iCloud email not long after posting this query - I am now able to send emails once again! Does adding an iCloud account have anything to do with it or has Yahoo mail been fixed?
