TS1567 I have spent about 45 mins reading the feedback/suggestions and I still cannot see any on my devices, what else can I do?

I have changed cables, updated iTunes restarted PC what else now?
I have a new iPhone 5s, I still cannot see it...very frustrating. I have withdrawl symptomps. I have been using iPhone since 3GS. My first iPod was 256KB. Apple (iTunes sync) have gone from best to very bad. I just hope they dont get worse.
