Hello, sounds like bad RAM...
The following table lists the new tones and their meaning:
Tone(s) Description
1 tone, a 5-second pause, repeat No RAM installed
3 successive tones, a 5-second pause, 3 successive tones RAM does not pass data integrity check

I just downloaded 15 songs to my ipod and only about half will fully play. The others only play a minute or two with some only playing for seconds. I have never had this happen before. I would delete them from your library and then redownload them from the iTunes Store.

I want to photo stream pix from my iMac to apple tv. When I try to enter the iCloud account name and password, the systems tells me that terms of service have changed and won't let me proceed. What's that about?
You need to reset the password for the "old" account, and then use that to turn off iCloud. Then you will be able to sign in with your new ID.
You can reset your password at iForgot.apple.com.
If you don't know the answers to the security questions, you will need to start there.

I have an Intel iMac purchased in late 2009 and the superdrive has quit playing DVDs. It will burn all types of media and will play CDs and will read and install software CDs but will not play a DVD. These are new commercial movies. After inserting the DVD it spins for a few minutes then ejects. No error messages. Reboot did not help.
I mac Mid 2010 all latest sware and updates. Superdrive suddenly wont recognize presence of media. Ejects discs after a short while. Maybe coincidence but seemed to happen after an auto update and using of itunes match.

Well Barry, as for the Ram, all this while are install by apple technician since very day i bought iMac on july 2008. Just wondering What's actually went wrong..
Very first day I bought iMac, few days later, system cant even on. AppleCare Centre exchanged a new set of iMac.
two weeks later, i notice several dead pixels appearing on screen, call to log a case with them, later on, they changed a new panel.
After several months pass, been using happily with iMac... but since now, this problem occurs. So fastrating... My third time encounters problem with iMac. sign

My question won't all fit in but it says 'My iPod Touch 4th Generation 8gb won't turn on and is frozen on the loading symbol/wheel. What do I do?'
I've had this problem from about two weeks and I forgot about it, but today I wanted to play on it and remembered that it's not working, I've tried connecting it to iTunes via my laptop but I'm not to sure how to update it because I thought that might fix it, but no luck. I've tried the trick where you hold the lock and home button but nothing happened apart from it just went back to the apple logo and then to the frozen loading symbol/wheel. I need help!Try:

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

I play music on my hi fi via an airport express attached to my iMac.
Since installing maverick the sound quality is terrible and I get frequent distortion, which never happened before.
I have reset the airport express and reconfigure my wireless settings. I have also used Ethernet on its own but still get the same sound problems.
I would love to turn itunes sound off as you used to be able to do, but this I believe can't be done.
Has anyone else been having the same types of problem, and better still has anyone got the answer?When the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) is connected by Ethernet, you will find an option in the AirPort Utility, labeled: Enable AirTunes over Ethernet on the Music pane. Just select this option to allow streaming iTunes via the AirPort's Ethernet port. You should also be able to disable the AX's wireless so that it shouldn't interfere with the nearby TC.

wheel of doom spinning before I can log into the pro. So signing in was a panic attack in itself.

The wheel has started to show up spun a lot when i was using it yesterday and slowed down general usage.

Back up all data immediately, then run the Apple Hardware Test.

When I try to migrate from imac to macbook pro my user account says "this user needs attention before migrating". My e-mail does not migrate in the process. This never happened before I updated to Maverick. I have repaired user permissions but this not make any difference
Just a Follow-up - the migration went fine. The migration did not import Little Snitch, Flip4Mac and DivX, stating they were incompatible. It also reported that Intego Back up Assistant has improper security setting (which I have not yet investigated).
I am encountering small problems. Safari would not open embedded pdf documents and instead showed a black screen. This was fixed with instructions found at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html and it now works fine.
Importing 17 years of old mail from Eudora to Apple Mail was time consuming. mostly because of the pre-migration preening i did, but using Eudora file cleaner before the migrtaion helped a lot.
I amy find some more glitches, but so far everything seems to be working. -
I just updated my 3GS to 5.0 and most of my apps and contacts disappeared. THis has never happened before through many updates. How can I get it back to where it was?
I did a restore from backup but that did not change anything.
I can see my apps in iTunes - it is like the update got some apps but not all, no contacts.
Total waste of my Friday.
What steps can I take to bring the phone back.
I know Steve is not smilingI got my contacts back by doing another restore! Relief..
But only a very few odd apps are showing up on the 3GS

I downloaded several tv shows on my computer and attempted to drag and drop to my iPod touch. I received an error message indicating that there was a problem syncing to my iPod. What steps should I take next? This has never happened before.

Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.
When Force Quit window appears, select the Safari if not already.
Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.
Safari will quit.
Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.

This means that the photos (or the folders that contain them) have been moved, renamed or deleted outside of Lightroom. On Windows it can also mean the disk drive has changed letters.
