When I click "view my account" there is no option for "none." Can anyone help?

OK - skip that link....I just went through it again, and since you already have an Apple ID, it directs you to another article, which then directs you to the original one you were looking at.....so THAT's not going to work!
So, I'd say, at this point, you need to contact iTunes support to see if they can tell you why you are not seeing the "None" option...

    4.4.2 was the last update.  Now, in the same section look at Build Number.  Mine says VS98026A.  If yours ends with 26A, you are current.  The last update was for HD Voice called Advanced Calling 1.0.  Our next over the air or OTA update will be sometime next year, probably near March.  The G2 is already getting 5.0 Lollipop in Poland and is rolling this way.  We will get it, but even though Google has released the source code and update to manufacturers, Verizon still has to test, add to it and approve it, then roll it out over the course of a few weeks or months.

    Create a new ID by following the steps in this article exactly as written: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534.  Pay attention to step 3; you must first download and install any free app then create the ID.

    Every time I try to download something it makes me re enter my iTunes account. Now I am so sick of it I am looking to get rid if that option of even having a credit card on my account. But, there is no option to take it off. Any other way? There is no none option.

  • TS3276 Following above directions, I clicked on Window, but there was no option for Connection Doctor, the next step. Where does one find that?

    When asked to povide an email password (after you set the mailbox up & have been using it), you are told to go to Window. Then choose Connection Doctor.  There is no such option under Window.  How do you get to the Connection Doctor?

    I just checked again in Mtn Lion, which is what should be on your new machine, and see this in Mail. So, all I can suggest is for you to reinstall the OS. Boot into recovery mode (restart, holding down the CMD+R keys). Alternatively, contact  Apple's Express Lane and let them deal with it, since it's a new machine.

    If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

    If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
    Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
    Tip 2 - If you're updating via wifi, place your iPad close to your router to preclude getting a corrupted download.

    Check to make sure you don't have two firewalls (i.e. a Windows firewall and one on your router).
    If that's not it, you may need to dig deeper ... like temporarily changing your router's DNS to use Google's DNS or OpenDNS instead of your ISP's DNS.  Or maybe open up a certain port on your router (not sure which one that would be though, sorry).  Or, if your computer is connected to the internet over wi-fi, try connecting to your router (or modem) via Ethernet, I heard of that solving a problem like this (though I can't confirm if that was real).

    Peter, I had the same problems!  I could set up my account for iTunes without a card by doing the following:
    - open iTunes
    - Sign In
    - Get the message saying that the account must be reviewed for iTunes
    - click Review
    - Ok the Use Terms
    - on the screen where you see your username, password, security questions, there are two check boxes at the bottom for receiving emails from Apple (marketing stuff).  I was always deselecting these, but one time i just left them checked and clicked Continue
    - after leaving them checked, i then saw the NONE option next to PayPal.
    I did this with my existing account.  I tried creating a new account, but if I deselected those two options, i didn't see NONE even with the completely new account.
    Hope that helps you!  It was a bugger for me too!

    How exacly are you trying to import from the Photo Stream? Dragging from the stream to the events? Ctrl-clicking or right clicking?
    If "Show in Library" does not show the event, then your iPhoto Library may need repairing or rebuilding;  try to run the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools, if you have not already done so. See this post by Old Toad on how to do it:    Rebuild iPhoto Library Version 11:
