Hi, I bought the app 20 in 1 games and it installed fine.i" m playing a hidden object game and I"ve completed level 1 no problem,but with 3 things left to find on level 2..... It has frozen.i can" t even exit.....can anyone help please
Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

Try changing the screen resolution.
Go to Apple Menu / System Preferences / Displays.
Change the resolution. Whatever numbers are shown, e.g. 1280 x 960, select a larger one. The larger the number, in the resolution the smaller the display on the screen. You can keep changing this till you find the resolution that suits you. -
FF Less stable than IE. Numerous crashes, the latest quirk is that it will open a new window with a website already working on and NONE of the iterations of FF work. Have to reboot computer because can't even exit FF. Fix it or on to Chrome.

No such thing. All Firefox windows and tabs run in a single '''firefox.exe''' process, unlike IE which has a separate process for each window, or Chrome which opens a new process for each tab.
As far as the Firefox SafeMode, you can't open it when Firefox is running ''(unless you open a separate Profile purposely)'', if you try all you will get is another window in the "regular mode".
You're not going to be able to discover the cause of your problem if you're unwilling to follow established troubleshooting procedures, regardless of how intermittent the fault occurs. I wouldn't be surprised of you have an add-on installed which is causing that problem.
Another course of action would be to create a new Profile, which is like starting from scratch with a completely new Firefox installation. <br />

*MAJOR* System Failure after Javascript Upd. Can't even Reinstall OS. Help!
I updated my javascript to my white iMac 2.16 Intel Duo (24"), and suddenly I could no longer log into the account (an admin account) that I was signed into when I upgraded. I could signed into the others (1 admin, 1 non-admin). For the 1 account, I would sign in, it would go blue, and then cycle back to the sign-in screen. It was very similar to the Apple post regarding this, except Apple said this was ONLY for the aluminum iMacs. This one is a white 2006 2.16 Intel Duo model.
So, I then I tried to repair permissions. That just about failed (got "stuck") at "47 minutes to go".
So, I started up the iMac off of TechTool5 CD. Repaired permissions that way (a LOT were wrong). I ran the suite of tests, and it said my Directories were seriously messed up. Trying to repair the directories would have caused a loss of 75% of my files, so I canceled it.
A few weeks ago, I bought a new iMac, gave this now-dead one to my wife, had wiped it clean, installed OS 10.5.8 and did an account transfer. I still have her oldr machine to transfer the accounts again, BUT I CAN'T EVEN ERASE THE HARD DRIVE TO CONTINUE! (Read on)
I tried booting into Safe Mode. Didn't work. It cycled from gray/Apple logo screen to blue to black to gray/apple screen ad nauseam until it just shut down. Now I can't even get it to boot up (remember, some accounts used to still work ... now it won't even boot) passed this cycle of gray/Apple logo screen and black until it shuts down. I wanted to just erase and start again, but I cannot. The iMac WILL boot from a TechTool 5 CD, but will NOT boot from An Apple OS Install CD or even an Apple Care CD
I tried to access the iMac's drive via Target Disk mode and my PowerBook 17" (10.4), but while the iMac went into target disk mode, the laptop would not see it.
I went back to the TechTools CD start-up, and decided to repair the Directory ANYWAY, just to get in and then erase the HD. NOW, I cannot even do that. Repair the Directories is grayed out in the TechTool's window!! (It just keeps getting worse!)
I am at a complete loss on what to do now. I have used Macs since 1990 and have never had something like this.
Any suggestions? Even just to wipe the hard drive clean and resinstall ??OK, I was FINALLY able to get into iMac using the OS DVD that came with the computer. Unfortunately, the darned DVD says that 10.5 cannot be installed on the iMac because 10.4 is not already installed. What?? This is the only DVD that came with it! The iMac came with 10.4 installed, and a 10.5 disk in the box. It did not come with 10.4. What the ****, Apple? How am I supposed to install 10.4 if you never gave it to me?
So, I used Disk Utilities to erase the HD. I put it in Target disk mode, and tried to use older OS discs to install using my laptop or other iMac via Firewire. But the other computers now do not even SEE the iMac as a external disk. It doesn't even show up on the list. OR, in case of the laptop, it showed up, but the installation hangs right at "checking destination" (or something like that). The progress bar does not even move... for over an hour. -
I tried connecting to my phones hotspot and the first time it didn't connect. I tried again and it worked fine but the message saying it didn't work was still there. After a day it is still there and my computer even died and when it charged again the message was still there. My computer won't allow me to shut down or restart because i can't close the system preferences. What do I do?

The short term solution: Force your iPhone into Recovery Mode (also known as DFU mode) by following Apple's instructions here, in the case that you are "unable to update or restore the iPhone's iOS". Following the instructions on that page may fix your problem right then and there. However, if you continue to have problems (like getting it out of DFU mode, as I have had with this fast-auto-restart problem), then it may not fix the problem. In which case, here's what to do: Download a free program called RecBoot for Windows or Mac. Once installed, follow the directions for its use on that page. If the phone is in Recovery Mode (DFU mode), Recboot will tell you, and pressing one of RecBoot's two buttons will take it out of DFU mode. If the phone is NOT in DFU Mode, RecBoot will likewise tell you -- and the other button will place it IN DFU mode. I recall bouncing it between in and out of DFU mode (as a last resort) when I tried a complete factory restore and the phone kept restarting itself mid-restore. RecBoot was the one thing that finally got the phone's attention, and enabled the thing to accept a restore. I've needed RecBoot ever since -- upgrading to iOS 5, then 5.0.1, then 5.0.2...
A few things I've noticed about my issue: I still have the auto-restart problem, but for a while it started following a rule: It would only auto-restart repeatedly (and relentlessly) when the phone was charging and turned off (i.e. asleep -- not powered completely down). After a few months, the problem has evolved: The phone behaves itself when it is turned on, charging or not -- but turned off, the phone manically enters the restarting-every-few-minutes loop. Whether it's on a charging cable or not: If it's off, it puts itself back in the loop. Then, the other day, the problem showed signs of morphing again: restarting in the middle of listening to a podcast -- not every 3-5 minutes, but sporadically -- and the phone was turned on. That was indeed the last straw for me. Which leads me to...
The long-term solution: I am led to believe that the problem may involve a faulty battery, or an element on the Logic Board. I recently had a battery replaced in my phone, and I am questioning the replacement. However, I am taking my phone in to an Apple Store. Last time I took my iPhone in (with a warranty issue under the AppleCare Plan I ALWAYS get), they replaced the phone on the spot. So if you can make your way to an Apple Store, the chances are good that at least you shouldn't have to wait for days to get a replacement. -
Motion 4 grinding to a halt -- so slow can't even work!! Help, please...
I have Motion 4, been using for years. Just started a project where there are 20 or so items within each section. A few are keyframed to move scale and position and opacity, otherwise the rest of the items just moving in and out with motion behaviors. Some are images, some are video files.
Once I make more than one section as described above, every keystroke or movement, basically anything I do, I get the spinning beach ball for anywhere from 5 - 20 seconds. EVERY TIME I DO ANYTHING. This is making my project take about 3 times longer than it should to design, and I have no idea how I'm going to gauge timings without having to render everything out over and over.
I have set two scratch disks on different external drives through FCP, one has 77GB free and the other has over 200GB free. I have a MacPro desktop 2.66GHz 6GB memory.
I've tried viewing in draft quality, same issue. The other projects I've done in past are not having this issue.
Two questions (and of course open to all suggestions):
1) is there any way besides through FCP to set scratch disks for Motion?
2) is there any way to work in a super draft mode, making things into outlines or lower res preview?
I'm under deadline and this project is not happening as it should! Ack ! Does Motion have a tipping point where it can't handle more than a certain number of items per page?

I'll try to go through these as best I can...no, I absolitely did not install any anti-virus software, I know better than that and keep updated on the known threats. I though maybe something might have been hidden in something else I downloaded, but I don't think that's the case any longer.
The hard drive is only 2 years old, and it passed all the SMART tests I threw at it, plus I have Techtoo Pro and Drive Genius running to alert me of any problems with the disk.
I booted up into my eDrive, and things were running fine, which told me it was probably a problem with the file system on the main drive, so I ran a few tests like volume structures, and as I suspected it failed the tests. I am running a repair volume structures right now, hopefully it will take care of the problem long enough for me to boot back into the main OS and do what I need before I try a reinstall of Lion. -
I don't understand how to download an attachment on an email, on my iPad. It counts down as if downloaded, but I can't find it? What am I doing wrong?
What kind of attachment you are trying to download? After downloading, it should appear with the icon of the program that mostly likely will open it.

Few days ago I was downloading an application but for some reason it kept freezing, so I thought I might just turn it off and on again. Once I turned it on again, ALL my apps were swiped clean... even the default apps like Settings or App Store were nowhere to be found ! I tried doing the search thing on the right on web or wikipedia, but it kept giving me errors. I finally tried restoring it with my laptop but it kept giving me an error.. I tried all the solutions they suggested from the help page.. and still NOTHING! I dont know what else I can do! Please help?
P.S: My photos are still on it, I could locate them from the drive when I plugged it to my laptop.Hello,

My ipad2 just went blank, it won't let me turn it off or anything. All i can see is the top bar with providor, time and battery! Any ideas what to do??
Hold the home button and the power button at the same time until the screen goes all black and then hold the power button until you see the apple.

Firefox running fine for a week and now can't even load google! Help please!
I downloaded the latest version of firefox about a week ago. Ran brilliantly and could keep up with my internet gaming habits. After one week, firefox won't even load google! Haven't done anything to upset it that i've noticed. Disabled my firewall and antivirus to see if that helps but no change. Help please!
It just takes ages to load and then says the connection was interrupted or that the internet is having problems :/ I found a help topic that said to unistall and reinstall firefox so I unistalled it and now I cant reinstall it cuz internet explorer doesn't work either

I clicked on a link and immediately got "Warning: Unresponsive script." Clicking Stop Script or Continue does not make a difference. It just froze or got hung.

I attempted to restart my iMac but it won't because it says I have to close Mozilla first.
I often get the Unresponsive script warning now that I've switched to iMac. I don't remember getting this msg too often on my Windows desktop. Is Mozilla more incompatible with iMac compared to Windows?
The screen has now turned white but the box with the warning msg is still up and I still am unable to close the browser.
The menu at the top doesn't show so there is no Help window for me to open.Firefox may become very slow to respond because of badly coded JavaScript causing infinite loops on certain websites [28]. This problem can usually be cleared by closing the window or tab for that website. You can also temporarily disable JavaScript to view the problem site, but the website may not work without JavaScript. If the web site hangs Firefox (you can't even exit Firefox) try running in Safe Mode and see if you can get an Unresponsive Script Warning. Watch the status bar and see if this frequently occurs while it mentions a specific URL. If so, try blocking that URL using a content-blocker such as Adblock Plus. The problem URL may be fetching an advertisement or side panel that you can do without.
If none of this helps, try using a different browser (such as IE or Opera) or try accessing the site at another time. This might help you determine if the problem lies with Firefox, a poorly designed website, or content that changes over time, such as ads.
