TS1702 App frozen mid install
How do I uninstall and start over?
Start with a reset. Press and hold both the power and home buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait till your iPad starts on it's own.

Apple iBook App Frozen While Installing and Has Downloaded 2 Times?!
On my new iPhone 4S, I started downloading apps from my previous iPhone 3GS. When I got to iBooks, it downloaded it two times (two icons) and got a full blue installing bar, but wouldn't finish! It won't delete either. Does anyone know of a quick way to help this? I only got this phone a few days ago and I'm already disappointed that something already went wrong. :/ Thank you!
Download the app to the iTunes library on your computer and sync your phone.

TS1702 App will not install. App says "waiting"
Why will app not install? App says "waiting"
In this order try ....
1. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
2. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
3. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes and App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes and App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
4. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
5. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -

TS1702 'App' failed to install
Hello,
I have paid for and downloaded the FIFA 12 app for my iPhone 4s however when I attempt to syn it to my phone it says - iTunes Sync 'FIFA 12' failed to install.
It gives me no other information or any reasons. Does anybody know what I need to do?
ThanksI got a similar problem. I downloaded Mass Effect: Infiltrator and synced it to my iPhone via iTunes but then I got a pop up saying that installation failed. I tried different ways to install it again but still having the same problem. I am now downloading it again through Wi-Fi but it is stuck on loading.
I also did a hard reset and tried restoring from backup and then install it again but still having the same problem. Is it happening to EA games only??? I never had such problem with any other apps/games.
Can anyone help plz. -
When trying to refresh apps or install new apps, they do not install. They just display "Waiting" and make no progress. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting iPad with no success.
Try the following:
1. Turn iPad off and on again
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo
3. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
4. Use iTune (computer) to update/download and sync to iPad -
TS1702 apps frozen while updating
while updating apps they have stopped updating and are now "waiting" how can i stop them and try again.
If rebooting doesn't help, (holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen) here are a couple of other things to try.

I have tried to update apps but I am unable to complete the transaction. A notice appears asking me to change from USA store to Uk. I've never changed the settings and don't understand how this has occurred or how to change it....
Click here and follow the instructions to change the iTunes Store country.

I have a 3rd party app that will not delete. I've tried via iTunes and the App Store but to no avail. I've hard reset my iPad, signed in and out with different Apple ID's but the app remains frozen (mid-download) and I can't get rid of it to reinstall it afresh. Any suggestions ? The developers haven't got a clue how to fix this. I'm the only person with this issue it seems.
Your compliments made my Thanksgiving day and left me speechless. Thank you. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

I have attempted to update a few apps and the install has frozen on 'waiting' not allowing me to either access the app or delete it, any idea why this has happened and how do I get around it?
See if either of these things works for you. In the future ... Only update one app at a time. Forget that the Update All button even exists. It causes more problems than it does good - IMO.

My ipad app store is frozen for 5 apps insalling. I cannot access the apps or finish installing updates
If the App Store itself is frozen, quit the app completely and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If the updates themselves have stalled - try some of these things and see if they help.

You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad. -
The AFL app appears as "installed" in the PURCHASED section of the App Store, but the app, itself, is nowhere to be seen. Any ideas?
Can you find it using the Spotlight search on the iPod? Maybe you just can't find it.
Also try resetting the iPod. Nothing is lost.

was told to install app downloaded to itunes and app will not install even through itunes.
Weird.
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
