TS1702 app refund from apple
I'm having issues with a vendor regarding a $9.99 App I purchased nearly 3 weeks ago. Long story short the developer has told me 4 different times that they've attempted to credit my App but for some reason they've been unsuccessful. I know that a refund does not come from the vendor but instead Apple. I've gone into iTunes, clicked my account, Purchase History, selected the specific App and clicked "Report A Problem"......it didn't ask me for any further information, etc. Is there an amount of time before Apple responds? It's been a few days and I've heard nothing.

After you click on 'report a problem' below the purchase you should then get a 'report a problem' on the app's line which you then need to click on to get a details screen e.g.
Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

There is no specifc form, per se. You're just being instructed to contact the iTunes Store. Go here:

and follow the instructions to report your issue to the iTunes Store and request a refund.

my computer has been seen at Genius bar 6 times for freezing up, reloaded all original settings, all of their diagnostics, and they even sent it to the apple shop where they replaced the battery and logic board. Still freezes after I try to reload iTunes stuff and app stuff from apple, especially iPhoto which is seems to refuse to load and then begins freezing up all over again. Anyone else have this problem. Other than this, I have had absolutely no problems with this computer. Now, it's a file of junk.

Have you checked lately to see how much free space there is on the disk? Especially since iPhoto freezes at launch ...
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
And make sure the OS X software is up to date.
Click the Apple top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click: Software Update
If you have anti virus software installed or are using third party Mac cleaning utiliites, that may be part and parcel of the your problems. -
i placed the order for iphone 4s on 21st august 2012. it got cancelled on 23rd august 2012 but till now i havent got any refund from apple. is that normal or i shud take some more actions?

Kids' apps bought from IPad , including some free ones to try out, all lost sound recently. These worked fine before since We got them. Couldn't work out the reasons. We have tried reset, restore the IPad and reinstalled these apps but still without success in solving the sound issue. We tried YouTube to see if the sound issue is ipad issue and it youtube works fine and it has sound.
We also doubt it could be the apps issue. because If it is only a few apps lost the sound, it seems maybe it is the relevant apps issue. But when there are so many apps all lost sound, it seems to indicate a problem other than just individual apps. What could it be? Please share your experience and way to solve it if you can. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad above the volume switch, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. 1. Connect iPhone to computer iTunes and do a sync after you have selected the app on iTunes.

Downloaded the latest Mountain Lion dirrct from Apple but it will not install due to being correupt
You'll probably need to delete it from the applications folder first. Once you've done that, go back to your Purchases tab in the Mac App Store. Agree with ^ that doing this over a reliable internet connection will minimize complications.

Getting Logic 9 update refund from Apple
Hi,
I started a related thread some while ago, but as things are a little different, I'm starting a new one.
I took the advice given here in this forum and ordered my Logic 9 update from Thomann.de ( as I live in Germany) after being sent the wrong version twice by Apple. My order was delivered within 2 days !
I returned both wrong ones to Apple as instructed: via UPS, on 18 November. I received a refund for one only ...... and then another wrong one was delivered.
Since then I've written dozens and dozens of Emails- even sending them in bulk, 10 at a time to each person in the hope that I'll get an answer - and telephoned many times. But no refund. And no contact to arrange collection of the 3rd false article from Apple.
The problem as I see it: each time I phone (to Berlin) I speak to a - new- nice polite person who promises to help ( 7 named contacts by now ) and sends me their own Email address as contact. And then nothing happens.
And when I've phoned and asked specifically to speak to these people I get to hear:
1. not at their workplace
2. can't be found
3. no person of that name here
4. can't make direct contact - in another building
5. on holiday
6. must be ill
7. no direct phone contact between individual employees so cannot connect to a previous contact
8. we don't have individual extension numbers so cannot find a previous contact ... although there are only 70 people working in this Apple Support Centre
9. it's the holiday season so we're very busy - that's why you haven't had an answer.
Which means - as these people don't ever answer the emails I write - that I can never follow up a conversation. And I can't find out if they really have sent on my request/compaint to Apple HQ in Ireland ........ or if they really sent an email to the Apple Finance centre asking why I haven't received the 2nd refund.
I'm at my wit's end.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to finally get my refund ?

Kay.Well- something exraordinary has happened ! The last young man I spoke to at Apple has actually DONE something: he's read through my - very long - file, has summarised the 'events' and conseqences, has heartily aplogised and has promised to get me my refund
And I believe him.
Faith in Apple nature is returning. .....
The Ebay suggestion was a way I hadn't thought of going but now not necesary.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should, I think, reply within about 24 hours).

Cannot sync my iphone from itunes with app got from apple store
Hello everyone, I wonder if someone can help me...
I dwonloaded a free app from the apple store.
My computer is authorized to do thisbut it keep on saying that it's not authorized and in order to transfer the app to the iphone I have to authorize it. Which I do and then I get the window with something like "with this computer you have 2 computers authorized". But when I try and sync the app, it comes again "your computer is not authorized.....".
One minute it's authorized and the next minute it's not...
I also followed the website instructions deauthorizing several times and in the end authorise it.
The computer - even when it says it's authorised - can't seam to sync the application...
Anyone????
