Apple map is not showing the paths between two locations as shown in the previous version.
The current Maps app in iOS 6 is from Apple. It is beta software with known issues. The previous Maps app in iOS was from Apple, but used Google as the map resource. There is now a new Maps app from Google available in the iTunes App Store.

I was trying to restore an earlier back up on the time machine and somehow lost all previous versions! How do I find the earlier versions again? I heard that there was a problem with Apple being vulnerable to Hackers. Has anyone seen an update for this issue? My IPad received the update last night but I have not seen anything for Safari.
Mac OS X 10.9.2 was released today for this issue and others. Earlier versions are not affected.

I wish to use the previous version not the one that has today been automatically installed. My settings were to let me know and I decide to install when I'm ready, how do I go back. This because one of the previous Plugins does not work with this version, and they have no fix for it yet!

Anyone have the problem I'm having with the Safari collecting cookies even when I'm not on a website? I cleaned everything out and checked several times. Each time cookies were added that I've never seen with my older version of Safari. I have the block third parties and advertisers but I don't think it works. Here's a sample of what is popping up: 247realmedia.com, 2mdn.net addthis.com, admeld.com, adsafeprotected.com, adsonar.com, bit.ly, bluekai.com, bluelithium.com, bluetoad.com bondware.com.......... over 100 things without a clue where they are coming from. So, after my iPod touch died, i plugged it into the computer to try and charge it, and now it keeps changing between the charging screen, the apple logo, and a blank black screen, still hasn't charged, and its been plugged in for almost an hour now

Have you tried another cable?
Another charging source? Does iTunes see the iPod when you connect to your computer?
Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and cracked or broken plastic.

I have just updated to Pages 5.1 and now the templares which I have saved do not displat the header and footer which they were saved with in the previous version. How can I have the header and footer included when I open a template?
That is becuase Pages 5.1 has numerous unnounced surprises for the unwary user. Among the surprises:
- it strips out images from headers and footers without warning
- it strips out bookmarks without wanring (yes, all those bookamrks you laboriously put into a document: poof! Gone.)
- it strips out alternating left/right margins, without warning.
There are many more suprises, as you'll see from glancing through these discussions. They fall into two main categories: things that are present in version 4.3 but that are missing in 5.1, things like
-mail merge
-meaningful Applescript/Services support
-non-contiguous text selection
-ability to set defaul zoom
-ability to see comments while editing
-ability to print comments
-ability to read RTF files
-ability to drag in hyperlinked ted from a browser
These about about 90 other features are gone.
Then there are the bugs. Hyperlinks do not reliably export to a PDF file any longer. There have been multiple problems with printing report. Some fonts place stray characters in the headers. Many reports of the program crashing, courrupting files, etc.
Fortunately for you, the previous version of Pages is still on your system. Export any documents you may have created or edited with Pages 5.1 (another great surprise: files created with version 5.1 cannot be read by any previous version of Pages: not just 4.3 but even 5.01!). Then trash 5.1 and use 4.3 until (unless?) it is stable and has a reasonably robust feature set. -

Why can't I add appointments to the calendar anymore? I can add to my iPad and they show up and sync with iPhone but I can't add appointments directly to the iPhone calendar. I am on the latest OS version available for iPhone 5s.

You cannot manually manage music with match turned on on your iOS device. If you want to manage music manually, you will need to turn off match on your iPhone.

I received a low ink warning on my mac for my epson artisan 837 printer. I replaced the cartridge that was low but it still reads low ink on the mac but reads full on the epson control panel. I am also receiving a communication error between the mac
What exactly is the error?
And, we'd need some info re. your Mac model and OS version - you are not running iOS on it.
You need to realize that this model has been discontinued and the last driver updates are dated about a year ago. If you are running Mavericks, there may not be an updated driver for it. But you can try to delete the printer and add it again to see if that will work. -
Version 10:Cannot open a catalog...the catalog is corrupt or a previous version
I am currently using Adobe Photo Elements 10: I attampt to open a catalog and the software responds that the catalog is corrupt or a previous version that cannot be opened. I have only one verions installed so obviously the latter would not be the case. I attempt to repair the catalop and the software indicates that the catalog is not corrupt. Since I do not have a previous verions and the catalog is not corrupt, how can I recover from this eventhough I do not have a backup of this catalog. Is there anyway I could fix this catalog and if so how? please Help.

Is this a converted catalog from previous versions? If yes, you would need to repair your old catalog in old version and then re-convert.
