TS1702 Apps show installed but are not

When I look at APPS already purchased on my ipod touch some of them have the cloud grayed out and also show installed even though they are not on my iPod touch. They are available on my iPhone but not on the IPod touch. If I select the APP anyway "install" is also grayed out.

Are they hidden by Restrictions? Go to Settings>General>Settings and check.

Hello, I hope someone can help. I have a Mac Pro and I've got 4 drives with 3 different OS's on them. My main working drive is 10.6.8, but I'm cautiously transitioning to Lion (10.7.2) and I want to bring my apps along without using Migration assistant. (Long story, but basically, it keeps messing things up) I look in the App Store and the apps I've purchased are all listed (minus the one I accidently clicked the "X" on which I can't get back on the list), but I can't redownload them to this newer OS because they are marked as Installed already. How do I free these apps up in the store so I can download them again to the newer system? I don't want to delete them from the Snow Leopard partition, as I am using them there with other apps that aren't Lion compatitble yet. Thank you for any help you can give me.

View your account (Store > View My Account) in MAS. You'll see iTunes in the Cloud. Click View Hidden Purchases and then Unhide the App.

Restart in Lion. Eject the Snow Leopard partition and any other partition the Apps are on. Open MAS and you should be able to install your Apps in Lion. MAS sees Apps on all of your partitions and connected drives. Hope this helps.

How do you add icons to the iPhone which are listed as purchased apps and show installed but are not appearing on the screen.

Some of my purchased apps show installed but don't appear as icons on my phone. How do I get them to be icons?

I am back. I have now sorted out my Launch Pad to be organized the way I want it. I have decluttered my Dock. Very nice.
Now I want to add some of the remaining icons for apps that did not automatically show up in Launch Pad. So, again, how do I do that?

App store shows apps installed but are not on my computer

I recently installed Mavericks on my mid-2012 MacBook Air and was updating my apps but found that the App Store shows a several apps as installed but are not currently on my computer. I saw a couple previous notes that addresses a special process to deauthorize/reauthorize iTunes which is supposed to correct this but the note was written in 2012 and also refers to a special right-click function that isn't working in Mavericks.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I loaded a bunch of free Apps (maybe too many?) right after I got my 4s yesterday, and at some point I noticed that none of the downloaded Apps would work. The screen would blink when I tapped the icons, but the Apps stopped opening. Resetting the phone didn't help, so I decided to delete all the Apps I had downloaded and start over.
I can get the "Purchased" list to show up by pressing Updates button (is there another way?) but the show as "installed" in greyed-out letter, so I can't figure out how to get them back.

Your iPad screens aren't completely filled up are they? If they are, you will only be able to find them using the search feature on the iPad.

Assuming that it shows as installed in the App Store app, and that it isn't hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps or via an Age Rating, then try a reset and see if it appears after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I found our problem. I found out how to use FireFox.
tools, options, Security, SavedPasswords, then scroll the list for the offending
login name and remove it,. You might find it in manny places on the list.

What is the version of Adobe Acrobat / Reader you are trying to install on Windows 7. Was it working before on the same machine?
Also, you may try to uninstall Adobe Reader/Acrobat using cleaner tool if the version is 9 or above: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

I installed an app on my phone and it has synced to iTunes. There's been an update and I have updated it through iTunes (as it's over 40mb). My phone however still keeps telling me there is an update and I can't get rid of it. Anyone any ideas. I've tried re-starting my phone!

if your phone has ever been replaced by Apple (within or outside of warranty), have Apple check their records to which carrier your iPhone (its IMEI number) is currently locked to.
If it is locked to any other than the carrier you have your SIM-card from, ask the folks at Apple to have your phone's lock adjusted to your carrier. Once that is done, there is a good chance that your phone will work again.

The first thing to do: Make a backup of your iPhoto Library. Don't update iPhoto without having a backup of your iPhoto library.
When I tried I received the following message This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
This error message means, that you did not yet associate your copy of iPhoto (preinstalled on your Mac) with your AppleID by clicking the "accept" button at AppStore "Purchased" page.
First try to "Accept" iPhoto on the Purchased tab and try, if you then can update iphoto from the Updates tab.
Now check the "Purchased" tab. Is iPhoto among your Purchases to "Accept" or "Install"? Then accept and/or install.
If it is not possible, delete iPhoto from the Applications folder .
(don't empty the Trash).
If it is not among your Purchases, open the AppStore main tab, search for iPhoto using the Search field, and buy it from the AppStore. If you already owned any version of iPhoto '11, this purchase should be free, from earlier versions it may be a paid upgrade.

I can delete the existing software and re-install but I don't want to lose all my photos.
Your photos are in your iPhoto Library in your Pictures folder and not in the iPhoto application. Just back up the iPhoto Library as a precaution, but reinstalling iPhoto will not delete your iPhoto Library.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

The 0.1.4 version from AMO - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/privacy-badger-firefox/ - is an old version that doesn't have an "UpdateURL" to tell it where to get an update from. For some reason EFF hasn't updated the version at the official Mozilla Add-ons website since June 2014 - "Firefox 21 and later" - but only up to Firefox 29.0a1 ''(the pre-release alpha tester version from like late-2013)''.
The 2.5 version from EFF - https://www.eff.org/privacybadger - is "spec'd" as compatible thru the future Firefox 40.0 version. That one should work for you. If it doesn't, you'll need to contact EFF for support for their add-on - they made it and should support it.
