TS1702 disputing charges for apps purchased in error
I recently checked my bill and found applications that were purchased in error (perhaps fraudulently). Can these apps and charges be removed?

Fraudulent Charges for App purchases
(This is kinda long)
Before ChristmasI purchased (2) $50 iTunes Gift Cards (for $40 each from Best Buy, great deal!). I redeemed the cards and downloaded an EP for $4.99.
2 days ago I received an iTunes receipt for $41.89 then another for $41.85. I changed my iTunes Store password and contacted Apple. They were quick and nice kindly instructed me to make sure that no "misunderstanding has occurred in regards to these purchases" (i.e. no one else in my house purchased the apps without my knowledge).
iTunes shows the purchases at 3:30-5:00AM when myself, my wife and 11 week old twins were all asleep. However...the apps that were downloaded are all right here on my 17" MacBookPro.
My question is how and why could this happen? Could someone hack my account and download the apps to my laptop? The apps were from a bunch of different developers.
Is there anyway for me to see the activity that was going on with my machine at that time of the morning?
Finally, over the past 2 days I did notice that XCode was running several times...and I don't remember launching the program. Could that be associated with this issue?

If your account had been hacked, then the apps would have been downloaded to the hackers computer, not yours.
The only way that I know of that the apps would be on your computer is if they were purchased and downloaded from that computer. -

I recently purchased "The Simpsons Movie" on iTunes, but it is not appearing on my cloud - or under recent purchases in iTunes. I was charged for the purchase and received a receipt. During the download i received an error message.

I am being charged for itune purchases I did not make. Charges are appearing on my bank statement. I have been going around in circles trying to dispute the charges but am going round and round in circles with no success. Suggestions please.

Apple deleted my account when I made a complaint about being charged for apps that I did not order. They said that my account had been compromised and it was in my best interests to delete it for security reasons! I am convinced the operator deleted my account out of sheer malice because I complained - can anyone advise?
No. It would have been done for security reasons. You notified them that money was being unknowingly taken from your account, so they froze it.
Change your Apple ID here
And also check for unusual activity on your credit card with your bank. Change all your security password while you are at it.

I received an email this am telling me I was charged for a purchase I made of .99 this am. I did not purchase anything. I contacted PayPay and was informed it was for a recurring monthly .99 fee..I don't know what that is and don't want it. What is it? PayPal cancelled any further payments for this. I was informed I needed to request refund from ITunes. I did that. Why was I charged a .99 recurring fee? I purchased, or thought I did, an app called "Appzilla2" on Jan 10 for .99 cents. Does this mean I must pay .99/monthly to use it? If so, please cancel the appzilla.
We are itunes users just like you. We cannot cancel anything.
Look at your purchase history and see what the charge is for. Contact itunes support if need be. -

I can purchase songs in itunes, but not the in-app purchase for Kingdoms at War. I've checked the parental controls and all the other obvious things in settings. I transferred files from the mid-2009 to the mid-2012, but I use both computers frequently. This problem only occurs on the mid-2009 and not on the mid-2012. I have authorized both computers.

My credit card was charged for two purchases in the amount of 14.95 each. I did not authorize these purchases. The purchase dates were 12/24 and 12/25.

Have you downloaded any apps on an iPad/iPhone for kids? If so you may have in-app purchases enabled for free games or similar, and they've racked up charges for you. -

Launch itunes log in to the app store, and click your name and get your purchase history. click on "report a problem." and request a refund. please note that apps that are "free" often have purchases inside the app. You can disable this under restrictions. But apple is pretty good at offering refunds. If this doesn't work, post back.

This happend to me too. 10:30 am on March 4 an app was purchased, using my store credit and charging the remaining amount to my bank. I don't even have a smart phone that has apps. I have sent a request to Customer Service. Itunes has a security problem.
