TS1702 Downloaded book does not download on top of sample book.

I downloaded a sample of a book. It was free & decided to get it. It says it downloaded, but it is still only the sample. Any ideas? I tried re-downloading, and I re-booted my iPad.

Sounds like an incomplete download/transfer to the iPad. As you say this is your first purchase, have you tried downloading any of the free books available from the store to see if the problem can be duplicated with other "full" volumes since sample extracts seem to be fine. If the problem is replicated, then the problem may be external to the books themselves. If not, then either the download was bad/corrupted in transmission or the source file itself may be bad and needs to be reported to iTunes support for confirmation and correction or refund of purchase price.

Set your columns back to one for the moment. In layout mode, insert a Text box. Place it in the upper left corner of your document, and drag down and right to the size of the container for your two columns. Click inside the Text Box, and now bump up your columns to 2. Your two columns are now contained in this resizable Text Box.

Firefox does not shows on top when it blocks popup

Earlier when Firefox used to block any popup it showed notification at the top that Firefox has blocked popup and i can select to open the popup from option.But now it does not show any notification at top when it block's popup.How can i enable the notification again?

The notification may have checked "Never show this again. Some more information on this can be found:

It is also possible to check the exception list from the Firefox Menu > Options > Content > Exceptions to manage the pop up list.

The Adobe PDF printer is no longer available in Snow Leopard. This is an announce to this fact at the entrance to the Acrobat Macintosh forum. The old methods for doing what you want will not work in Snow Leopard. I recommend you look at Quite Imposing. It can do everything you want and more. Alas, it comes at a price.

[InDesign CS4] - Spell() function does not get called in CHLinguistic Sample

Hi,
I am investigating CHLinguistic Sample plug-in on Windows InDesign CS4. I noted that in InDesign CS4 a new function is added FindError.
I always get call to function FindError() but I don't get calls to other functions like Spell(), IsCorrectGrammer().
Has Adobe changed something in InDesign CS4.
Any help will be appreciated.

I have SDK Build Verison 352 September 2008. With this SDK it has CHLinguistic sample. It has the following info in readme file under Known Issues -
The CHLinguistic sample does not dynamically redraw misspelled
words after adding them to the user dictionary.
I have the old SDK. You have SDK Build Version 352 October 2008, so you must be correct.
I will download the latest SDK and post my results on the forum.

Photoshop elements 11 just after installation in the editor the mouse does not even scroll top menu

Very dissapointed so far by this adobe soft, that I just installed a few hours ago. At this point it is worthless and no way I can use it like that . After installation I went directly into the editor and right away I saw that the software was very sluggish with my cursor dragging . After clicking on a top menu (File) the menu bar open (5 sec.)and if I scroll it down I do not see the blue color following my cursor, and if I click at the location in the bar of my cursor it takes a few second before it respond. I am also using the following adobe softwares that works flawlessly : Photoshop CS5.5 extended; Bridge; Camera Raw; Lightroom 4.2. My computer uses an Asus P7P55-E Premium motehrboard with Win 7 pro 64 bits with an intel I 860 2.8 mhz and 8 gigs of RAM. All my adobe softs are 64 bits, except for elements 11. After seeing that, I installed the upgrades without any visible problems. Even after that nothing has improved.
I have to say that I have quite a few softwares installed that all work perfectly such has Topaz bundle; Photomatix pro, etc. In fact of all my softwares this is the only one that is giving me troubles.
I hope somebody has a solution for this extremely poor behavior.

I think you are using Win7, if yes please try the following
Right click on the PSE icon and select Run as administrator
Now try to use it, check if there is any change or not.

Yes. Delete those applications and then download them from the desired Apple ID.

Lately, when i open a tab, it does not open on top of already open tabs. I am forced to minimize Firefox and then click on the tab in my bottom tray to open it? Why would that be?

This only started happening about 2 days ago. I will have tabs open, go to bookmarks and click on one. It seems that it is not opening but I then discovered that there is a tab at my desktop bottom tray that opened instead that I can click on to open the tab. However, it will not open unless I first minimize my bottom tray whole Firebox browser.

That is the default action when you open a new tab. There are extensions that you can install to change it from a blank page to whatever you want.

TS1702 keynote 6 does not open old presentations - fix???

I just updated my keynote to 6.0.1 and one of my old presentations cannot be opened any longer
Many of the videos in the presentations that can be opened are broken (I see only the first frame)
How can I fix this? If not, how can I go back to a working version of Keynote?
