Playbook WiFi not working - need help please

Looking for some help.
All available WiFi networks are greyed out, and I am unable to connect to any of them. I enter my pass word and get "Attempt 1of 3; Associated with network. Waiting for Authorization.", and then each attempt fails. I know I am using the correct password, and other wireless devices are able to connect to these networks, including another Playbook, but not my Playbook.
I have tried deleting the saved network profile, I have tried turning the wifi on and off, I have tried a hard reset. I have tried connecting manually. I can see the network has bars, but they are greyed out.
Thoughts? Help?

Happens to me occasionally, mostly on some public WiFi networks, sometimes at home. Usually rebooting helps solve the problem.

Play button AS2 not working need help please!

I have an AS2 project with two scenes, Scene 1 is has a pre-loader and Scene 2 has an embedded .flv animation from after effects with some other basic tweened shape layers and masks. I've used the Components UI and dragged a "Replay" button to the last keyframe with a seperate actions layer with the following code:

Replay.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, replayMovie);
function replayMovie(evt)
gotoAndPlay("Scene 2",1);
I'm a beginner in Flash and have been following instructions off the net but I can't get it to Replay the movie when the button is clicked, it does nothing

I would not reply on the scene naming thingy if I were you. IN the pat I have had the very same problem and found that using
_root.gotoAndPlay(frameNumberHere); works a lot better.
ALSO
if your scene 1 has 10 frames in it and your want to gotoAndPLat the 1st frame of your second scene then use:
var number_of_Frames_in_1st_scene = 10
var frame_I_want_to_go_to_and_play_in_my_second_scene_is = 1
var frameNumber = number_of_Frames_in_1st_scene + frame_I_want_to_go_to_and_play_in_my_second_scene_is;
_root.gotoAndPlay(frameNumber);
dont forget the _root.

IEPG Titan tv not working ,Need help please

I recently installed MSI tv@nywhere Master into a new Dell XPS system, using all the latest drivers, and programs avaliable on MSI's website, i'm happy to say that everything worked well except for the EPG.
When I click on a program to record, a box opens up asking for an IP address, whether or not I supply the address the project apears in the schedual but the program does not start.
After the project was supposed to start, if I open MSIPVS a box opens saying that the server is using the program, and I need to change modes to use it???
I'm stumped. Any help will be welcome.

It sounds like you've turned on some Universal Access features.
(The clue was the black line around selected text boxes.)
If you have volume turned up, you may hear the system voice speaking the text in the black outlined boxes.
You can turn the various Universal Access features on/off in System Preferences, System, Universal Access.
It's also possible to enable/disable various keyboard shortcuts in System Preferences, Hardware, Keyboard & Mouse.

DVD Player Not Working - Need Help Please!

My eMac is currently not reading DVDs. The drive will recognize and automatically play commercial music CDs and software, as well as burned music CDs. However, when a commercial DVD is inserted into a drive, not only will the DVD player not recognize or play it, the eMac does not even notice that there is a DVD in the disk drive.
Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

there are a number of things for you to try. one is to do a pmu reset. instructions are found in step 6 of this article. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=34885 if you have an ati graphics emac or later, then the pmu button is on the right side, not the left. if that doesn't work, then try resetting the firmware. boot to open firmware by holding apple-option-o-f and then type in the following commands--
reset-nvram (hit return)
set-defaults (hit return)
reset-all (hit return)
the last command will restart the computer. if neither of those things works, then i would try booting to the install disk and running disk utility. http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214 if that fails, then i would create a test user (system preferences > accounts, then hit the plus sign) and see if there is any difference there. let me know how that is going for you. You do not use a WEP password but wpa/wpa2 on router and equipment.
All equipment connects to WiFi, but for your iPad.
Even with all other equipment WiFi off, you cannot connect your iPad.
Your iPad connects to other WiFi nets correctly.
All resets etc done on iPad and Router.
Still I am not sure it is your router for sure, frustrating...
I want to test 2 other things:
1. in your iPad, set everything OFF in Settings/Cellular, turn off/then/on your WiFi, and see whether it will still not connect...
2. If that does not do it: disconnect the router as well as the modem from the power, for 15 seconds, then reconnect the modem, let it fully start, then reconnect the routet let it fully start, turn of your WiFi in iPad, then on, and see whether it will connect.

But i was on a ICAT with a friend and he has no problem listening to the live link, so its my problem obviously.
NOTE: if you got the Icon with the BROADCAST STATION is where you will find th live broadcast. (duh)
its interesting casue I can listen to any of the same website's "pre-recorded" links.
P.S I also have the most recent Realplayer downloaded.

It sounds like you may have multiple problems, but none of them are likely to be caused by malware.
First, the internet-related issues may be related to adware or a network compromise. I tend to lean more towards the latter, based on your description of the problem. See:

If investigation shows that this is not a network-specific issue, then it's probably adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for help finding and removing it. Note that you mention AdBlock as if it should have prevented this, but it's important to understand that ad blockers do not protect you against adware in any way. Neither would any kind of anti-virus software, which often doesn't detect adware.
As for the other issues, it sounds like you've got some serious corruption. I would be inclined to say it sounds like a failing drive, except it sounds like you just got it replaced. How did you get all your files back after the new drive was installed?

     Do they show up?
     Make sure that Mute is not enabled.
