TS1702 How can I delete my frozen Facebook APP?

My Facebook App on my iphone is stalled in the update mode.  How can I delete and restore?

Actually Brooke, iTunes did that for additional Security purposes. It's not corruption. If iTunes is corrupt, they could've not entitled customers for refund when the customers does not want what they bought. If you're going to delete the account, all of your purchases will be gone. The security questions are originally set-up by you. If you can't remember setting them up, iTunes would likely ask you three questions. If it is asking you 3 questions, it means it's asking you to setup the questions now. If it's asking you 2 questions, it means it has been configured by YOU before. Go to appleid.apple.com to manage your apple id and see if you have a rescue email address where you can easily send the reset security questions email.

How can I delete an app that was purchased?

Delete an App Store app: Touch and hold its icon on the Home screen until the icon starts to jiggle, then tap the "x" . You can’t delete built-in apps. When you finish, press the Home button.
Deleting an app also deletes all of its data. You can re-download any app you’ve purchased from the App Store, free of charge

  • How can I delete a previously published app from my dashboard?

I've read answers on simular questions that an app can't be deleted, but I really want the app removed from my dashboard...

    Hi Dennis,
It is not currently possible to delete an app from your dashboard once it has published to the Store. You can request this feature be added on our
UserVoice site. Thanks for the post!

  • TS1702 how can I delete camera app and reload?

I don't want to have to restore my phone just to reload the camera app.  for some reason the app opens to blank screen.  if I use the slide to camera, it works properly but that feature doesn't have the option to forward, send, etc photos.  anyone got a solution as to how I can delete the camera app and reload it?

You can't delete any of the pre-installed apps. Try a reset:
Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
If that doesn't change things, a restore from backup is the next step.

my old facebaook was hacked. I created a new account. I cannot post pictures from my iPad 4 to new facebook because I am using a new facebook account with a new password. the system is still storing my old facebook username.

Assuming you are using the FaceBook app: Settings App > FaceBook > [your name] > Delete Account. Then sign in with your new account.

  • How can I delete pre-installed Facebook an Twitter app from iPad 2

I don't need this sh*t and I don't want it to waste memory on my iPad 2.

You can't. You can delete your account from existing on your device. Delete facebook or twitter account info from your device...and it won't delete your account as a whole. But the shortcut is hard wired and will always be there.

  • TS1702 How can i delete my iTunes Account?

Because of the new Security questions that iTunes has put on my Account, I can not download new apps to put on my phone. I have been in contact with Apple, iTunes and iCloud. Now I am to the point I just want to delete my current account and make a new one. This is so stupid, iTunes has been no help to me at all, the Apple people where rude to me and the iCloud has not even contacted me back. What am i soppose to do. I am very upset with all 3 of these company's, if you are going to change you product tell the people that are using it that you are going to change it and if there is a problem fix it. This is stupid i am now going on 2 weeks of not being able to download anything. I think that iTunes should allow me to at least make my own security questions and if you are going to make them for the customer at least let that person know the answer to there own account. I am going to say it again and again this corruptions needs to take responsiblity of there actions and if there is a problem fix it....

  • TS1702 How can I update "cut the rope" app - it is now frozen "unable to download app"

I have attempted to update the app several times.  I have shut down the Iphone 4S and rebooted it.  I would prefer not to have to delete the app and purchase it again since I would like to not lose the history of my progress with the game.

Hello, it's not availble legally anywhere else. An Apple Store should be able to Install it if you call & take it in.

  • TS1702 How can i reload the original youtube app deleted? I tried security copy & in apps store is not there anymore

I wish i could get back the original youtube app that comes with the iphone when new. I got an invitation to upgrade to another you tube so i did, then erase the original before regreting the upgraded version does not support tv out compatibility. I reloaded security copy, looked for it on app store but no way to get it.

The original YouTube app was part of the iOS. When iOS was updated to iOS 6, that app was removed. It's not possible to get it back. Google has an official version in the App Store. There are also other apps that will allow you to watch YouTube videos. Perhaps one will have the features you need.

  • TS1702 How can I switch US to Canadian apps

How to switch US apps to Canadian apps. I'm not
    Able to update may apps?

You cannot switch them. You can purchase the Canadian versions using your Canadian iTunes account, but if you have to update the US ones then you will need to use your US Apple ID.
I would consider contacting iTunes support for help. From iTunes Store click on the Support link under Quick Links.

  • TS1702 how can I restore all of my apps from a device restore?

I recently had issues syncing a movie I purchased on itunes to my ipad. Itunes kept prompting me that the movie could not be synced due to an issue with the file. I found through a google search that I could reinstall my itunes app on my pc or restore my device. I first attempted to uninstall/reinstall itunes from my pc and that did not resolve the issue. Finally I restored my device although I created a backup beforehand.
My issue now is that all of my apps that I originally installed on my ipad are not syncing even though I see them in the apps library in itunes. My two ipod touches continue to work without issues and have very similar apps installed but I just cannot get any of the apps to sync to ipad.
I have found other people with the same issues and one person recommended to use the restore options when you right click the ipad under devices in itunes but of all the availalbe restores that option did not work...
I'm hoping there is a simple fix to this versus having to manually re-download all of my apps from the itunes store...
    Thanks!

Two things that I can think of.
Make sure that you are still signed into your Apple ID in Settings>Store>Apple ID. You should see your ID in there. If you don't - sign in with your ID?
The second thing, make sure that your apps are still selected to sync in iTunes. Sometimes when you restore/reinstall - settings get corrupted.
Connect the iPad to the Computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Click on all of the apps in apps list that you want to sync
Click on the Sync Apps Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

  • How can I "DELETE, NOT HIDE" my app from my purchased list?

I have a child.  And like children they are very clever sometimes with downloading apps.  Mine has downloaded hundreds of apps on my account in the last couple years and I want to delete them from my purchased list.  I am kinda OCD when it comes to Data organization and like to be able to sort quickly through my list instead of constantly questioning certain apps that I may or may not have downloaded. I think we should have the right to delete these apps at our discretion. Simply hiding the app does nothing for me.  Will we see this soon?

I agree. It should be possible to completely remove any app from the 'Purchaced' list. Especially the 'free' apps that we trie and uninstall after we discover it is not what we wanted. Now these apps remain in the list forever?

  • How can I delete pics from photos in order to free up space on my iPod 5 with iOS 8?

In iOS 8, how can I delete pictures from photos app because I have run out of space, I need to delete at least 6 GB of pics.  I deleted many purchased apps but it did not restore space.  When I connect to iTunes it shows about 4 GB's allocated to documents & Data.  I do not have any documents or data , also it shows a couple of GB's allocated to "other"  I checked everything on the iPod and the only thing I can see using all my space is the pictures.  Almost 12 GB's of space.  I have all the videos and pics backed to iPhoto library on my iMac.  The trash can is disabled on iPod, but enabled on iPhone and iPad.  Why is the delete/trash can feature disable on my iopd?  I need to delete the videos and a lot of pics.

Were the photos synced to the iPod?
If so you have to unsync them or use a third-party computer program like TouchCopy or PhoneView
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.
What is the Other on my iPhone and How to Remove It
What is "Other" and What Can I Do About It?
Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
    To restore from backup see:
    iOS: How to back up
To restore to factory settings/new iPod see:
