TS1702 How do I get itv player and 4od to work again?

I successfully downloaded them but recently they disappeared from the home screen. i can see them in my purchased apps in the app store and it looks like they are 'installing' but there is nothing I can touch to help them along. I deleted the apps from settings in the hoping to uninstall and start again but that doesn't seem to have done anything. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

I am running Windows XP Home, and using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.8 as my browser.
When I go to download and install the latest version of Flash Player, the ONLY option I get is to quit. In other words, I cannot download and install Flash Player. This even occurs at Adobe's own website.
How can I get Flash Player and install it?

First, you can manually download the installer here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Second. On both my Mac (OS 10.6.4) and My PC (Vista Home Premium) I have had nothing but trouble with Firefox 3.6.8 and Flash player, Flash apps and Flash sites that require access to web cam or microphone or both.
The last time Flash Player worked well with Firefox was 3.6.4, but I uninstalled 3.6.8 and went all the way back to 3.0 on both systems.
Just a heads up. If you download the manual installer, and it still doesn't work, it ISN'T the Flash Player. It's Firefox. IE, Opera and Safari all work with it.
Go to oldversion.com and get an older build of Firefox, uninstall 3.6.8, install the older one, go to Tools, and Options and turn off automatic checking for updates, so it doesn't try to take you back the the 3.6.8 "busted @$$ joint" that doesn't work worth poo.
Maybe when they release 3.7, Firefox will have their act together with Adobe and Flash Player.

You cannot merge iCloud/Apple IDs. You must decide which one ot use, one or the other. Login with your new ID on your computer.
Be aware that content/apps purchased with the old ID will be forever tied to that ID.

Click on sync audio button to sync audio with animations. If you don't have audio in your presentation, then click on edit audio button, it will launch edit audio dialog where you can insert silence durations for each slide and manage the slide duration. Again for syncing the animations timing use sync audio button.

Changed my Apple ID, but iCloud ID no longer works. How do I get iCloud ID and password to work now?

I had to terminate my old email address due to excessive SPAM and notes from friends being returned as undeliverable.
I set up a new email account at Outlook.com and then changed my Apple Store log-in ID and password (and that works fine). BUT, iClould asked me to sign in this morning, and I could not do so BECAUSE iCloud still had my old Apple ID (which is now defunct). I attempted to just delete my old iCloud account, BUT it insisted that I enter the correct password for the old ID -- which is no longer valid at Apple and does not work.
So, how do I get rid of my old iCloud account and ID so that it stops pestering me on my iPhone and iPad?

Nope. Can't delete the iCloud account on my iOS devices BECAUSE the password for the account to be deleted must be entered. As I said, I already changed my Apple Store account and password. When I did that, the old user ID and old password were rendered invalid. So, one more time. How do I change or delete my iCloud account. I don't use iCloud, BUT it keeps pestering me to sign in. This is an Apple fiasco!

The SIM has nothing to do with that. She used your Apple ID to buy apps/music, thus your contacts that were synched with iCloud got replicated on her phone. Any changes she made got reeplicated on her phone. There is no way to recover the deleted contacts unless you backed up your phone.
Your daughter needs to get her own Apple ID.

How do I get the on-off button to work again?

I have an iPod nano, 6th generation. The on-off button has stopped working, therefore I can't turn off the display screen until it does it itself and when I'm away from my wall charger, I can't turn the iPod on to change a song.
The button doesn't even click anymore, it just gives a little push but no click.
How do I get this fixed? My warranty has just run out, too.

The problem persisted, so I posted my question. This morning, however, the glitch seems to have cleared itself! The New Tab button and the "+" icon both work like before! Don't ask me what happened, I could not even begin to try to explain. Anyway, here are the ext/addons I have: Norton Vulnerability Protection; Personas; Flash Video Downloader; Groowe Search Toolbar (which was suggested by Mozilla); and Yahoo Toolbar. How do I get Flash Player and IE9 to "play nice"?

I need help trying to figure out why I have difficulty loading various sites, because I get certificate error messages, IE9 then crashes, and of course windows tries to look for a solution, to no avail!? I recently installed Adobe Flash Player after the message popped up trying to play a game via my browser...IE9.
Please know that I am not a programmer, and have limited knowledge regarding java-script, cross-scripting and security certificates. These are all messages and or error messages that have "popped-up" since I installed Flash Player.
I just want my computer to work the way it did before the instal!!! No hangs, freezes, crashes, etc.... Please someone help!

How can I get Adobe Shockplayer and Flashplayer to work?

Yesterday I had a problem with a program that I installed. My pc wouldn't open Windows any longer. So I chose F8 > Last known configuration that worked. That fixed the problem but Adobe Flashplayer and Shockwave Player stopped working. I get a black box but the file doesn't open.
Today, I uninstalled Flashplayer and Shockwave Player, downloaded the lastest updated versions and installed them. I checked to make sure that they were installed in Add/Remove Programs. In Firefix > Plugins, I checked that they were both "Always Activate." In IE > Manage Add-Ons, neither are listed. When I clicked on "Find More Toolbars and Extenstions" and chose Adobe Flashplayer, it only opened the page to download the Adobe Flashplayer again.
These are the programs that are installed in my pc now:

So I think I've installed all the programs that I need and I checked for updates.

Backup phone in iTunes . On your phone, Go to Settings, General, reset, Erase All Content and Settings. Restore as new on iTunes . Then restore your phone from the backup in iTunes.

How do I get Mail Setting and Contacts to work ?

Having just bought an iPad 2, I set it up using my wifes AppleID and it accessed her emails.
I have now got my own AppleID and I want to change the Mail application so that it accesses my emails rather than my wifes.
I've seen the instructions in the User Manual to go into SETTINGS then MAIL, but when I am in Settings and tap the Mail,Contacts,Calendars the iPad takes me to the HOME window (as through I'd hit the Home button).
I have a second question, which is when I tap the CONTACTS icon in the Home window, a book (2 pages that are empty) seem to start up and then dissappear as they are growing size. If this makes any sense.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or is the iPad not working correctly ?
I have downloaded and installed what Itunes/Apple/iPad have provided as the latest software.

What you are experiencing is crashing apps when the app closes quickly like that. Way too many users are reporting this same issue since the update to iOS 5. You said that you just got this iPad. Frankly, if it were me, I would set up an appointment at the Apple Store with an Apple Genius - show them what is happening - and politely, but firmly - insist on a new device.
Problems abound with this new release and even though you will be told that the majority of users are not experiencing any issues, that knowledge will not help you resolve your issues. What I'm saying is that I'm convinced that - if you are one of the unlucky minority - and I am one myself - I don't think that there is much that you will be able to do to fix your "magical and revolutionary" device. So if your device is that new - return it to Apple - get a replacement - have them set it up - and do as much as you can while you are there in the store - to make sure that they pulled out a reliable device form their inventory.

I did not change settings, or download a new version of Firefox. it just stopped working.
