TS1702 How do I report a "bad" app product to Apple? The App developer has failed to address the problem and keeps on selling a product which does not work. Surely Apple has some liability in this case or at the very least some responsibility.

How do I report an App that is not working and the seller has not fixed the problem yet is continuing to sell it? People are being ripped off and Apple does not seem to care.

Glad you got some resolution on that. I'm not familier with the app you had issues with, but the one the OP was questioning is very highly regarded and widely sold. Odds are the issue was with his iPad and he never responed to inquiries about troubleshooting (I suspect he had not tried much of anything).

    I want to report this to AppStore so they can remove the app and also give me a refund for $2.
    I believe AppStore as a storefront is not doing their work properly... Aren't they supposed to check if the app u r buying is same one which is downloading?

    Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
    Some people have had a problem with the 'report a problem' link (it's been taking people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) - if it does that to you then try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

    The FireWire cable is just for the FireWire ports on the display.  The display will run without it.

    I went to the Audio store to see about getting a surround sound and the salesperson asked me why I wasn't using AirPlay, he said it was better than the Bluetooth, better quality. So I do have AirPlay on my Sony and I installed the app on my iPhone 5 but they can't find eachother.......when I try looking for my iPhone on my receiver it does not show it. The Sony display works through my TV, the set up screen is there but it says no devices found. Like I said, the Bluetooth finds the iPhone and works ok, but the AirPlay does not.....looking at the manuel it says that the AirPlay will recognize my device (iPhone 5) but it does not..........

    Seems to be something to do with a new security check they have put in the system that does not work correctly and support is totally incapable of helping me out.

    I've been jumping through the hoops with Apple Support on this issue....first time I called they said I should try updating from IOS 4.0 to 4.1....tried that and the issue still persisted...then I called back to update the ticket and get the next steps...they said that the Bank is rejecting the request for verification and that is why it keeps prompting (which doesn't make sense since the confirmation seems to go through successfully). The rep also contacted the iTunes dept and had them run the verify manually and said the bank rejected it. The next hoop they want me to jump through is calling the bank to verify that the account is in good standing and inquire about the rejected requests. I'm fairly certain the bank account is in good standing....will verify of course....but I find it hard to believe that all the people who have posted here, plus countless others that are experiencing the same issue but haven't, are ALL having banking issues in the last 24hrs...I'm more convinced there is a disconnect on the back end between iTunes and Financial institutions...
    I'm not sure I buy in to everything I was told...he also told me he has had several calls on this issue and they were all told to check with their banks. He could not verify that any of his past calls were resolved. Needless to say I'm not 100% believing everything he told me....weak response from Apple support on this issue so far.

    Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
    Quit Safari.
    Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
    Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Relaunch Safari. Try a bookmark.
    If that didn't help, check Safari / Preferences then select the Extensions tab. If you have any installed, turn that off, quit then relaunch Safari.
    If Extensions aren't the issue, reset Safari. From the menu bar click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons, click Reset.

    Terence, I was trying a way to message you directly - jumping on a recent thread seemed to be the only way (sorry, DEW45). 
    Terence, you seem to be the foremost expert on apeture and iphoto and have helped me many times in the past (thanks).  I have a question that you may be able to help with (anyone also feel free to take a stab).  I use blogger to upload my photos and host my blog (www.sippingespresso.com).  I spend hours organzing and editing photos - namely, I will enhance and sometimes alter an image in Apeture.  It always saves over the orginal file (at least for viewing purposes), which is fine by me.  But then when I go to upload the photos onto blogger it seems to always pull my dull, original image.  Obviously, I want the newer, bright, enhanced photo.
    I'm one step away from importing them, dragging them out of iphoto and into Photoshop, then editing the files and dragging them back into iphoto, deleting the originals and uploading from there.  There HAS to be a better way - please help!!  I've already posted far too many boring images without the beauty of Apeture's "auto enhance".

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    Staying signed in at iCloud.com is not a problem for me. Try resetting your browser or emptying its cache.

    Normal secured WiFi requires only a password to get access. The password is used to encrypt traffic between your device and the WiFi access point.     Take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar for testing, and if it is defective and under warranty they will replace.  Since you say iPhone 4, was this a used or refurbished iPhone?
