TS1702 I am using iTunes and it WILL NOT DOWNLAOD ANY APPS WITHOUT GIVING ERROR MESSAGES
The apps download just fine on my iphone 4's and my ipad, but iTunes WILL NOT download ANY APP. I have tried completely uninstalling itunes and then redownloading it and trying again, I have deleted the apps from my devices and then tried, I have tried syncing with devices connected by wire and then also tried wireless sync over icloud.
NOTHING IS WORKING, it tries to downlaod the apps (all apps makes no difference paid or free, or which app it is). The status bar gets all the way to the ned and then it starts over again, doing this repeatedly, and then after the multiple times it will show an error message saying it cannot downlaod.
I have 20Mbps speed internet, my wife's itunes has no difficulties.
the icloud account is under my account
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Using most recent iTunes x64 for Windows 7 machine)
FYI Also MY QUICKTIME WILL NOT DOWNLAOD AT ALL
VERY FRUSTRATED WITH APPLE SOFTWARE RIGHT NOW
Try downloading the songs from a different device. If you are doing it from your iOS device, try form your computer.

I rented Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and when I tried to watch it, the movie would not play. I received the error message (-42408). What does this mean and what should I do?
Is all other content purchased using the same iTunes Store account also failing to play with that error message?

I am unable to get LR6 to run. When I try to open the program it gives me an error message "
If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll. -
I am trying to copy videos from windows folder into iTunes and it will not copy. I have used drag and drop and the folder sopy comand from iTunes. Anybody got an answer?
Hi wayneiii,
If you are having issues adding video files to iTunes on your Windows machine, you may want to verify that they are in a format that iTunes can play. You may find the following article helpful:

iTunes 11.2.2 for Windows x64 will not successfully install. Removed prior iTunes, and still will not install. 10.7 installs just fine, but constantly asks to upgrade to 11.2.2. Any Thoughts?
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component won't install normally.
If needs be, the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility (MS Installer "Fixit") may be able to help force through the installation.

I downloaded a show on itunes and it will not play the last 15 minutes. It just stops and will not go any further. What can I do? I am using a pc.
I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
TS3212 i had to reinstall iTunes and it will not install
i had to reinstall iTunes and it will not install it keep on relling back
You won't be able to install your original Acrobat 7 at all, or use your original serial number. The server which used to allow this was switched off.
But assuming you have a compatible system, like Mac OS 5 or Windows XP, licensed users of Acrobat 7 can download a replacement and get a replacement serial number.

Itunes and quicktime will NOT install
I have been trying to re-install itunes and now quicktime onto my computer.
I get 3 messages. 1st one says that the install cannot find a file that does not seem to exist on my system. I tried find the file through its directory, cant find it!! It is a long directory with lots of numeric, very little alpha characters.
Next message is "error 1714" The older version of itunes cannot be removed. Contact tech support.
Next message "error 1603" Fatal error during installation. consult window installer help (msi.chm) or MSDN for more info.
I have looked for help on many posts and apple's site. I have tried to manually remove quicktime and itunes and it will not remove the old versions????
Someone please help me!!!!windows installer has stopped working
a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is avabilable.
... and that's one that I wasn't thinking of ...
Head into your Windows Update. Are there any new updates available for you? If so, and you install, does that clear up the error message? -

If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)

I just reinstalled iTunes, and it will not open, as it says iTunes library itl. was created from an earlier version. Any idea what this means, and how I can get itunes to open?
Many thanks.
That suggests that another application has stashed old QuickTime componentry in your system files.
So just in case we'll go looking for older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
First we'll need to change some view settings.
In your Start menu, open Computer.
In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
Click OK.
Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).
Open the "Windows" folder.
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, open the "System32" folder.
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, open the "SysWOW64" folder.
What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.) -
I downloaded a song to my itunes and it will not play. How do I get it to work?
I downloaded a song off of itunes and it will not play but indicates that it is downloaded. Any thoughts on how to get it to work?
Hi randybratton,
If a specific song that was purchased on your iPhone won't transfer to iTunes on your computer, you may want to try redownloading it directly to your computer from the iTunes Store. You may find the following article helpful:
