TS1702 I cannot get my apps to update?? help

I cannot update my apps. I keep going to the app store where it says i have 7 updates when i hit update all and type in my password it just changes from installing back to update and will not let me update my apps? Help?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores and sign out and sign back in
- Update the apps on your computer and then sync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Also, make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

Maybe you'd have to contact an Apple Store or the carrier who handles
the phone, about how to reset it. There should be some helpful motions
and efforts to attempt to re-connect the vehicle to the iPhone, there.
Perhaps there's a firmware update for the vehicle at an authorized agency...
Looking ahead, when looking into newer 2015+ models, test with a phone.

You have signed on the App Store with the AppleID that was used to obtain said apps?

How do you get an app to update that seems to be frozen?

On my iphone4 my boyfriend selected to update all of my apps at once which happend to be quite a few so i paused a few of the updates to later go back and update one at a time. I forgot to go back until about 2 days later and I now cannot get my apps to update.... I went back in to the app store and selected update all and they just seem to be frozen not updating. before I did this i would try to unpause them and a message came up that they were unable to update at this time then below was the option to be done or to retry so i selected retry and the message came up again. how can I fix this?

Look and see if you have a stalled download in iTunes - it could be a song or a podcast - if there is something that has not completed in there, your app updates will not download. Finish those downloads first, if you have any.
Check to make sure.

Please help, I cannot get any apps free or bought, I am able to update just fine and, I can use the apps I already have with no problem. The iPad 1 can be updated to iOS 5.1.1. You can see what level you are running in Settings > General > About > Version.
If you are not at iOS 5.1.1 and if you are have iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

If you are on level 5 but not at 5.1.1 you can update to 5.1.1 using Settings > General > Software Update.
There are still many Apps which will run on iOS 5. Also, some developers have older levels still available for the iPad 1.

Ok...... Do you have a question for us? Perhaps you could start by explaining what's happening when you try to download apps. What error messages are you getting? What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
Please note that the original iPad can't be updated beyond iOS 5.1.1. Apps that require a later version of iOS won't work on your device.

I just went through this same process.... I changed my credit card, double checked billing info, changed my password, I restored my phone, but the misake I made was I kept restoring it from my back up.... Finally I went to Apple Store.. and sad to say that you have to do a restore, and DO NOT restore from back up.
I used Gmail so I didnt loose contacts or email.. but I did loose all my text messages and history of that.
So, I had the EXACT same problem and it was a software issue.. you have to restore your phone to factory settings and start all over.. BLOWS I know!

Oaky, at least we got that far. Next step is to determine if all those "numbers" are really numbers. Changing the format to "number" doesn't necessarily change the string to a number. The string has to be in the form of a number. Some may appear to you and me as numbers but will not turn into "numbers" when you change the formatting from Text to Number. Unless you've manually formatted the cells to be right justified, one way to tell if it is text or a number is the justification. Text will be justified to the left, numbers will be justified to the right.
Here are some that will remain as strings:

123 with a space after it.
.123
