TS1702 I cannot update or buy any apps because I get the message that says:  Your account is not valid for use in the U.S store. .

I get a message that says:  your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store.   You must switch to the Canadian store be purchasing.  I'm close to the border would that cause the switch because it does it automatically.  Should I contact my internet provider  help.

What store should you be using? If you should be using the Canadian store, try changing it in the settings.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID
Tap your ID
Tap View Apple ID
Enter your password
Go to country/region in the popup window to change the store
