TS1702 I have about 20 apps that seems to be frozen for the last few weeks. It says waiting on the icons. I can't get them to restart, delete or update. Any suggestions?
I have 20 apps that flashes a "waiting" sign on the icons that I have tried to update. it's now over 2 weeks and the updates haven't been completed. I have added on some new apps and they are working fine, I a not able to delete or. Reinstall those apps. Any suggestions?

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.
If anyone else has the same problem. . . .email Apple. Cya.

You should be able to copy it from your iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and if it's compatible with your iPad you can then sync it to it

My Mavericks upgrade crashed my hard drive and I had to reinstall Mountain Lion. Now I cannot get any of the apps that I purchased to download. The icons on the launchpad just say "waiting" no matter what I try. My app store ID is fine. What do I do?
Are you now using a different username from the one you used prior to migrating? If so that is the reason for the problem. You might, then, give this a try:
To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder. At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN. You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed. -

Try restoring the backup again. Your apps and other purchased media should have been restored from your backup if they were on your old phone when you backed it up.

Recently synched my iPad w/Mac computer at home and all of my iPad apps were removed. I purchased 11 apps on 9/20/11 and paid for 10 of the 11. Can I get them back without having to repurchase them???

Read my instructions and King Penguin's instructions. This was posted for a PC laptop user but it works the same way on a Mac - the instructions to turn off auto sync will be slightly different on the Mac - iTunes>Preferences>Devices>Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. -
I am in Saudi and trying to download navigon middle east. Every time I try to buy the app it will show up, says waiting and disappears. How can I get around it and not get lost on these crazy roads?
I recently purchased a second hand new macbook air, although it was second hand to me the previous owner had never actually turned it on.
Something doesn't make sense here, though I'm not saying the previous owner is lying....

I have a redirect virus/malware that I can't get rid of - Stopzilla ID MalPac.D - any suggestions
I have picked up either a virus or some malware that frequently redirects my browser to intermediate sites. Stopzilla calls it MalPac.D but repeated attempts to remove it with Stopzilla have failed. I tried to update my antivirus (Bitdefender) but every time I try to download it I get a message that the installer files are corrupt and the install fails. I installed a different antivirus product that also found some viruses and removed them but the redirect is still there.
I can go into tools>options>advanced>settings>advanced and find that there is a manual proxy server selected. If I just click on "No Proxy" the proxy setting will reset itself. If I just click on "No Proxy" and delete the info for the proxy server I can then do searches without redirects.
Any idea how I can find and get rid of the redirect virus/malware?Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History). You could also try turning on Block Pop-Ups on the same Settings page.
Also close Safari completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
You could also try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I have an Ipad 2 and have about 20 apps that will not update, How can I delete these?
I have some apps that will not update on my IPad 2. They say they are installing, but Installing is grey..not black, and they have been like this for several weeks. I cannot find out how to finish the updates or delete them. Can someone suggest a solution? Thanks, Ann
You can only delete them one at a time on the iPad. If you have an IMAP email account, go to your email in on the server using a web browser and select as many as you can at a time and delete them that way. That action will be reflected on the iPad. In IMAP - whatever you do on one device syncs across all devices. If you have POP email - start deleting one at a time.

I have a free casino app that says it is installing but it will not finish stalling
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

Can't get dvd to import into imovie? Any suggestions?
I have my sister's wedding that a friend took for me on his camcorder, and burned to a dvd for me. But when I put the dvd in I am unable to save or anything and when I go to imovie and try to import it the best I get is files unrecognizable, but I'm not even sure I'm picking the right files. . .video is in NTSC. Any suggestions? Thanks!

DVDs are in a socalled delivery format (mpeg2), which isn't meant and made for any processing as editing... so, any conversion process will add a (dramatic) loss in picture quality.

ITunes is saying that the only way to get back all seven of my audiobooks are to repurchase them, however that is going to be about a hundred dollars to repurchase them all and I don't have that kind of money right now. Why are they making me do this and why the **** did they delete them in the first place, because I know I didn't delete them. You cannot redownload audiobooks at all.
They will only be where you put them.
