TS1702 I have the Ipod Touch and installed Skype. I have an account with Skype but when I try to connect my Ipod, I receive a message saying " We didn't recognize your Skype Name and password" I connect to Skype through my Facebook account.

Try contacting/going to their support site either/or Skype or FB. I would start with Skype

First go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete the email account that's there. Close iPhoto, reopen and add your email account to the Accounts preference pane and try again.
Next, and IMO the better solution, set Mail are the email client for iPhoto in iPhoto's General preference pane:
This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy and, if you need a layout like iPhoto gives you, similar layouts in iPhoto's stationary option.

Can you browse the Time Machine drive from Finder?
If you can and you know where the picture was stored ie on your desktop you can browse through the folder structure to the picture copy it and paste it somewhere on your new install before right clicking it and 'set as desktop background'

Try rebooting your modem.
Unplug both your modem and your wireless router.
Plug modem back in and wait a good 3 minutes for modem to completely boot up.
Then plug your wireless router back in and wait another 2 minute for that to boot up.
Then turn iPad off and back on.
Make sure you and you wife are on the same network

At some point other computers were autorized on your account.
Open iTunes and go to the iTunes store > Accounrs (in Quick Links section on the right) > sign in > From the you can use the Deauthorize All option. Apple limits use of this to once a year. After all are deauthorized you will be able to authorize your computer.

While running Firefox, I got a prompt saying their was an update. I did that, but then got another message saying that it was recommended I update firefox to 4.0. I downloaded it, but never received a prompt to drag the image into my applications folder. I also never saw an image of firefox 4.0 on my desktop. Firefox 4.0 was in my downloads folder but got the above warning message when I clicked on it. I tried downloading it again, but the same thing happened. Now what? Email server didn't recognize your user name

Just lately - when trying to email a photo in iPhoto ~ I get this message: email server didn't recognize your user name/password combo. I have googled and checked Preferences. I have tried to reset each of the passwords in each email account I have set up with iPhoto ~ facebook, gmail and iCloud. Nothing helps.
Any other ideas? Thanks!!

Delete the accounts from iPhoto and add them back.
If you've activated 2-step verification, you need to generate a new "application-specific password" in your Google account and enter it in place of your old password.

After dismissing this dialogue box twice (it offers no other options, iCal crashes.
I've turned off the option on my MacBook that asks to use my Gmail account, but since I can no longer launch iCal on my desktop, it can't import new data. How can I clean out the brain of iCal on the desktop so that it will open -- blank -- and perhaps accept a new version of my iCal data?

I have been having the same issue but I think I fixed my problem. In iCal, click iCal, Preferences, Accounts and retype your password. That seems to have done the trick for me as far as I can tell.

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... So how am i suppose to have it checked and have it NOT replace pictures on it????
Also I cannot make more photo albums into my ipod touch, it just replaces the one album every time....
