That app is designed to be used with a network. If your employer is using such a network you will need to contact the computer administrator and be issued such a password.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap the Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign in with the Apple ID of your choosing.

How can I get my iPhone 4 to update my updates from my app store of it keeps telling me error 3150 or it tell me to refresh the page after updates and the updates are still there asking me to update them again?
Make sure iTunes on the computer is logged into the account on the phone.
Plug the iPhone in.
In the popup window warning about wiping your phone, hit cancel.
In the left pane of iTunes, the phone icon should be there.
Right click on it, select transfer purchases.
Note: this will only transfer music bought from iTunes. Not mp3's from amazon or ripped from CD's. -
Aperture was originally installed from the app store, now its asking for a serial number. how do i download the serial number or reinstall from the app store?
The App Store version of Aperture will never ask for a serial number so something got confused on your system. Did you ever have a non App Store version of Aperture installed? Did you download the trial version for some reason?
You can try moving Aperture from the Application folder to the desktop and then going to the App Store. Log in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Aperture and you should be able to download it again.

I just got an Iphone and I can't email from it. I received an email that said I needed to verify my email but when I did the message I got was: invalid account for this email address. I don't understand. Thoughts?
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. OK, as always I waited before downloading a new OS and I'm sure glad I did. On the APP store I sorted comments by most critical...and WHOA...what is Apple doing? No support for Logic 9, MS Office? Is Apple only trying to reach the iphone/iTouch crowd? HELP! I was going to buy a new Mac pro & two 27" monitors but until I see some real problem addressing by Apple...I'll keep what I have and see how everything pans out. If anyone has any comments to ally my fears, I welcome them. I've been a devoted Mac user since 1993. 7500; G4; G5; and my latest Mac Pro...Where do I go? Again...HELP!

If you look through ALL the reviews, they are mainly good. I feel that Lion is an excellent upgrade, although not essential.
There have been some issues with MS Office, but right now, it is up to Microsoft to issue a Lion compatible update, which will come in time. Saying this, MS Office has been working fine on my mac, it seems to be an isolated issue.
Logic 9 seems like a strange issue. Again, an update looks to be coming soon, with Lion support.
I do not feel that apple only focusing on the iPhone and iPad user base. There are many features carried along, but the machine can still be used for pro tools and use just as well. It still is a fantastic, reliable, fast, easy to use OS, which I have had very few problems with. Some additions you may not use, but they don't get in the way. You will love the new Exposé, Mission Control, as it is great for pro users who have many windows open at once, and the new spaces. You may however, never use Launchpad, but you don't have to, just drag it away from the dock!
I really reccomend buying a mac with Lion, although if you are worried about bugs, wait a few months for the issues to be ironed out, and updates to be given. Because the update is so very cheap, I really think you can hardly go wrong. Try it out with your current mac, and if you like it, go ahead and buy your new ones.
Lion is fantastic, albeit maybe rushed.

my apple id for icloud is linked to an invalid email address and i do not have the password for the account. I need to delete the account to access my icloud on my iphone. any ideas on how to override this issue?
If you updated the old ID at one point to create your current iCloud ID, temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

The App Store says I have updates for I-Photo and Garage Band. When I try to update I get the following message: You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it." I read the solution someone else suggested (type your user name without @gmail and create a new password. When I tried it, I was asked for my birthday. It didn't recognize it. I know I got my birthday correct. Oh well...
