It shows "You do not have any purchased apps available to download" Can I show apple the credit card receipts for apps purchased from them? How would I find any previous account login info?

So I bought the "MacOS X Boxed Set" for SNow Leopard, and installed it over my former 10.4.11 install on the main drive of my Intel-based iMac. i upgraded from ios7.1.2 to ios 8.0.0 and my wifi stoped working, it worked only few seconds in 1 minute, and my other apps start to lagg and couldn chat on them, so i was really happy when i saw new ios8.0.1 and started downloading it and tryed to install it but then all went wrong. so i lost all my data and i cant get it back, because when i try to restore my data from itunes it says restoring was incompleate... what can i do now?

Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. Go to the app store ( or I tunes). At the bottom of the screen, look and see what account it thinks you are using. If it is the wrong one, just sign out, then sign in with the new one.
It thinks you are whatever account downloaded or updated the last app. You may have some apps on your machine purchased under the old account, and that is what it is seeing.

I tried to restore it but it gave me nothing but empty iPad. I don't use any other 'i' things. I upgrade and install my new computer and update iTunes.
It did not ask me anything about my connecting and I ask for updateing old software. Everything is gone TOO smoth and yes clean iPad.
I tried to find the answer in Internet but it did not fit my case. And they are lucky to have back up or other product from Apple to resync.

I thought it is a intuitive idea to back up. But another problem I heard it before is someone lost the data when he synced his new iTune with the iPad with full data. And it synced iPad empty. I could happen.
True I should back up, which I did not lost my data much except my notes in iPad.
My complain is to say normal sensible OS will not do this. My Samsung did not have fansy iTune which I have to be careful too much. I just keep/remove things without warrying stupid sync.

Lost all iCal data when installing isync

I tried a trial .mac account and lost all of my iCal info.. I know this happened through the sycronize process... Is there any way to revert this disaster?

I have just had the same arroying experience. I had mobileme and iCal on laptop working fine. Could see calendars in both. Then got iPhone 3G and it synch'ed the calendars to it fine. Went and stupidly upgraded to 2.0.1 and low and behold come to use iCal on G4 laptop (leoprd 10.5.4) and have no calendars. Look on mobile me - no calandars....eeek. Look at iPhone - still there - sighs with relief - assumes can restore to iCal on mac - wrong. Doesn't work. Odd. So read a few posts on here and someone recommended going into settings and turning off calendar syching in mobileme account. BAD move. Gave me the option of turning off calendars when I did that - turning off mind...not removing...so I said OK (surely they would say if this was going to delete them)....then turned back on....silly me. Boom! the iPhone synched with mobileme and replaced the good calendars with no calendars. So I've managed to remove all cals from all places - quite an achievement. Thanks Apple.

Above all, whether the USB disk is also included in your system state backup? If so, the restore will also restore the USB disk back to the status when creating that backup.
As data is gone from the USB disk, please make sure there is no any new file wrote onto that disk. Then you can try some third party data recovery tool which could help get the files back. Generally such kind of applications are not free but you can still
search for any application with free version or trail version.

- The iPod got erased since it sounds iTunes identified that the iPod has been synced with another computer and she said yes to making this computer her syncing computer. It could also she restored the iPod from the backup of another iPod, iPhone or iPad that was in iTunes. If in iTunes you go to Preferences>Devices is there a backup listed for her iPod with a date/time when she first connected the iPod to the computer. If so then restore the iPod from that backup.

When i was in the middle of upgrading my iPad 2 to iOS5, the plug came off during the time when the computer was 'restoring' iPad data. when i re-connected, there is a message saying the old files may be erased. i am concerned i will lose all my files as i am not sure if they have been backed up during the process. what should i do to proceed with the upgrading and be sure the files will remain?

I know this is an old thread. But I have the same problem. All the songs that I have deleted on my iPad, after uploaded to iCloud, doesn't show up when turning iCloud back on. But, all the songs show up on my iPhone!!??
And when I start a new project on my iPad, upload it to iCloud and then exit GarageBand, I can see the project when I launch GarageBand again but then it vanishes after a second. And shows up on my iPhone?!?!
Any thoughts? Obviously the files is till in iCloud. I've reinstalled GarageBand 5 times now. Still pathetic same issue.

Hi, umm i was updating my phone to the recent software the ios7.0.6 is it? well anyways i havent backed up my phone for almost a year now, and when i updated it, it told me to restore it, and i dont want to do that but I had no choice because i cant use my phone until i connected to the itunes to 'Restore', is there any ways that i can change it back to the previous one? i really have important things in there and really need it .

In other words, after your first experience with data loss, there is no logical reason you should have been neglecting to backup your data regularly. iCloud backups are free and can be set to backup automatically. iTunes backups are also free.
I'm sorry you lost your data, but this falls solely and squarely on your shoulders.
