    Apple considers all sales final. There is a link to the developer's site for support on issues that you have with their app. That is where you go for problems with the developer's app.

She put a whole bunch of music on there from different cd's but after seeing what she still had on it she realized she lost some of those songs on her computer. I tried to get them off with the transfering puchased music, but they won't come off! She bought this music fair in square and would like to have them back. How in the world do i get them back to her?

    The music sync is one way - computer to ipod.  The exception is itunes purchases.
    As the songs came from her computer in the first place, so they should still be there and should be included in her regular backup copy of her computer.
    You need to restore the ipod, erasing all of the music as you have no legal right to it.

    Why do you want your money back?
    You could email Apple about the problem but they will not take "I want my money back" or "This app crashes" or "This app is bad." Plus, you can only get your money back once.
    And since you bought an IAP on Snoopy's Fair and you already used your "Snoopy Cash", Apple will not give you your money back.
    All purchases are final.

  • I want my program to work, or i want my money back

    i don't have many programs installed on my computer. it is not tricked out, or all that exotic a system i am running. i do very little twiddling of my system. since i do very little tinkering around with my system, i expect programs i download/ buy to work without a hitch. especially professional grade programs that cost money, such as AppleWorks. i do not install pirate software on my system, for fear that if i were to do so, the legitimate programs would stop working.
    i bought AppleWorks and installed it. however, for some reason it does not launch properly. i double click the program. the program spend about 5 seconds of time appearing as if everything is dandy, as if it will successfully launch, and then with absolutely no input of mine, it suddenly fails to launch.
    since i spent money on the program, i find this absolutely unacceptable, especially given the above qualifications (i am not working with a 'difficult' or 'exotic' install of Mac OS X, and do not have any pirate software that would likely muck up my system causing difficulties for other programs' operation)!
    this is far below the quality i expect from software that you pay for. for example: skype is free, but somehow, the coders responsible for the program have created a program that actually launches, and *works as advertised.* AppleWorks on the other hand, *charges for its product,* and the program can't even manage to launch, let alone work as advertised.
    i want the program to work, or i want my money back. it's that simple.
    maybe someone can give me some tips on
    1) getting the program to work

    1) You've already begun a thread regarding the problem you are experiencing. Adding a second thread regarding the same problem is counter-productive, as it removes what has already been said about the problem from consideration by new readers, and could lead to duplication of effort and suggestions.
    2) Return it to where you got it?
    Please remember that although the discussions are hosted by Apple, these are user-to-user forums. Apple and its employees rarely participate in them.

    i have iphone 3g. i was working well. about 2 months earlier i bought an app of $2.99. after then every thing was okay. but last week i installed some free games and 2 days later itunes send me a reciept via email and you guyz charged me $34. now whenever i try to install free apps they want my billing info. please i need your help and want those money back. 
    $34 for free games , i will show u the reciept. if its not possible to get the money back i will forced to take proper action.

    The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

  • Bought a rip-off App that stalks your activity, want my money back but they blocked me!

    Alright guys!
    My problem is that I bought this app called iTeleport VNC. Basically what it does is show your Mac screen on your iPhone. I thought this should be fun and so I decided to buy it for € 3,99 (it seems to be for sale for € 17,99 now, probably I was lucky and it was discounted — thank god!).
    So I downloaded the app to my iPhone, I downloaded the other one to my Mac and tried to make it run.
    The first very mysterious thing is that is starts asking your Gmail address and password. It says it needs them because all of this runs over Google Talk servers. I find this quite strange because why would they need my email address and its password for this? All they need is the server IP, password and port numbers or something like that. I gave in a fake Gmail address that I had made some time ago and continued.
    This is all during installation by the way.
    Then a window pops up that asks you if you want to enable screen sharing. I don't think I want to share my screen, do I? If you click no, it will not work because a message will pop up and tell you that the app couldn't find screen sharing and that it will try again in 10 seconds (and it goes on like that…).
    It also said that if I click yes, I will be able to disable it later again. So I thought "alright, let's click yes and then let's disable it". Unfortunately there is no option to disable it in the settings.
    I don't understand why it needs all that stuff like email passwords, etc. I have another app which allowed me to control iTunes over my iPhone and I think it works a similar way. Not exactly the same of course, but kind of. And it doesn't ask any passwords or such a thing.
    To me this seems like they're just trying to collect private data. I don't want them to see my screen and I don't want them to know my Gmail password. But you have to do this in order to make the app run.
    After a while I finally was able to make it run. There seemed to be 2 modes: one, where you will see the logic screen of your Mac on your iPhone. The other one requires you to enter the password to your computer in the App, so it always redirects you to your desktop automatically. Basically it skips the login window. But I preferred to type the password in the login window. Unfortunately this wasn't possible because you weren't able to type anything in that field.
    And that's where I decided to stop using this app and deleted it.
    It didn't say any of that in the App description, which I think it should. Some people don't want to "register" to their service my giving away their personal information, this should definitely be mentioned.
    So obviously I wanted my money back… because I find it wrong, it's not what was written in the description.
    I went to the iTunes store (inside of iTunes), then clicked the little arrow in the top right corner beside my email address, clicked on "Account" and then you will find a link to your purchase history.
    There's a button to report a problem, and that's what I did. I selected the app, reported the problem and wrote basically what I wrote abobe. There was also a drop-down menu which asked you in which category this goes. Unfortunately I selected something like "This app doesn't work the way it should" and that's how iTunes blocked me from reporting it again. Because after I submit my request, a message came and told me that Apple isn't responsible on how 3rd party apps work. No they aren't, but they're responsible for what they put in their store and they need to make sure it works and that it's not against people's privacy.
    So now I can't report it again because when I try this it tells me I have already reported a problem for this app (or that the problem is too old, which isn't the case. Plus, how can the problem be too old? I think it's meant to be something like I bought the app too long ago. Fail!).
    The big questions now is, does anyone know how I can get my € 3,99 back?
    Do you believe I should contact the people who made this app? But what should I say?

    You need to use the CHAT link in support to reach Adobe staff. Be sure you know the product name you are trying to cancel, Adobe have lots of products, several converters etc. I think it is ExportPDF you have, most likely.
