TS1702 I was downloading some music through itunes. half way through the downloads i wanted to check if my songs were ok. i pressed pause and now my itunes want open up. i cant google anything or my facebook wont update either. what happened? can someone

I had EXACTLY the same issue recently. What I had to do on my PC was go into the My computer section> click on my C drive> click on users> click on my username> go into music and then iTunes> Here you should see something that says iTunes Library. Make sure that iTunes is Closed and then take the iTune library and drag it onto Your desktop. This will create a copy on the desktop but iTunes will not see it. Reopen iTunes and you should see an option to scan for media. Once you do this iTunes should re-build your iTunes library and It should be able to sync. If it syncs fine and all your content is available go to the iTunes library that you dragged to the desktop and delete it as you should not have a new one. If this does not work absolutley do NOT delete the iTunes library that is on the desktop.
Call Apple and let them know of the steps you have taken and request some help. This should fix it though!

Not really sure how this works, but here goes.
I bought an IPhone on EBay over a year ago.
3GS.
I found out I had to have it jailbroken since it had already been connected to AT&T.
I did that and hooked up to Bell and it has beens working fine ever since.
Today, foolishly, after phoning the Apple Store and being told it was perfectly OK, I upgraded to 4.3.4
Now it does not recognize the SIM card.
Is there anyway to correct this?

If you are wanting them to roll it back to a previous iOS version that could be jailbroken, no they will not do that.

After updating to ios 8 through itunes, I lost my music and now I cant transfer some music from itunes (macbook pro) to my iphone 4s back. Any idea how can I do that?
After posting this, I've since found out that my iOS iTunes App on my iPhone 6 Plus works all OK when on WiFi, it just won't work when on the data/3/4G connection.

uninstall all the apple application S/w like Quicktime, Bonjour,
apple Device Support, Apple Auto update, Itunes etc from your pc,
Reboot it
Now download a fresh itunes from apple and try installing
Reboot it
If you are having Problem in uninstalling any of the apple application
try 'revo uninstaller' and uninstall all the apple applications

I deleted my music through the "manage storage" section in the options to make room for the ios update awhile back. Now I can't get any music back onto my device through itunes. (I've tried restoring the device twice to no avail)
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I just put some music into itunes, and it wont transfer into my phone. i never had this problem before.
Sounds like you synced your new phone to his backup, not yours. Reset the phone and try again. Or maybe Restore will let you resync it, I'm not going to try it on my phone to find out.

I was wondering, as the new Itunes U app is out, what happens if someone just download the content if they dont go to University?
Most (all?) of the course materials that are being put up on iTunes U are there for free. You are free to download and study them for the sake of your own interest. It's all good.

On my iPhone 4 I can play music through the speaker or headphones, but I can not get audio in phone mode! I can hear anything through the ear piece or via a headphone. Nor can people hear me when I call. I must be doing something wrong, but what?

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with sound on your iPhone. I recommend the following steps for an issue like this:
Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.

the reason I have a 2nd Gen was ebcause my original Shuffle had the same problem, then wouldnt play through either unless I HELD the phones in the plug..
Now my new shuffle (2nd Generation) has the early signs of this problem. It will not play music through the left earphone at all (Ive tried 3 pairs, its not the phones)..
My shuffle was purchase december sometime but I dont think I registered it when I installed Itunes.

I just bought a philips fidelio docking speaker and when I plug my iPod touch 4th gen it charges but dosent play music through the speaker.
Does Phillips say it will work with a 4G iPod with 6.1.5?
