TS1702 itunes store images wont load and can't purchase or update anything

Just wondering if anyone is or has had the same problem. I can access the itunes store and it partially loads but no images load. I can do a search in the store and it will find what I look for in text but no images. It will let me click on "purchase" or on the App store "update" but it will not respond. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

I contacted Apple care about this problem...and ended up having to re download itunes and install it again over top of the original itunes. Once this was done everything was back to normal.

Try the standard fixes:
- Reset. Nothing is lost

It is not Apple that decides this. Since Apple is just the retailer, they do not own the copyrights to the content they sell on the iTunes store, if the copyright owner decides to remove something from the store that you have purchased Apple must abide by the terms of their licenseing agreements and remove it. Regretablly this also removes the items from your purchase history. This is why it is up to you to download and backup all of your purchases if you wish to maintain your investment.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I have read a lot of discussions here to resolve my issue, but I came up with the same result.. my itunes store is not loading. It was working very fine before but now, it really doesn't load. I want to make my newest and first account in itunes store, but it says, "Itunes Store maybe busy. Please check your internet connection".. I have been experiencing this for 1 week now.

I have windows 7 and when I go into itunes (version 10.5) and click on the itunes store it begins to load but never finishes loading. I have removed all anit-virus software, tried to re install all itunes software on my computer, and tried the netsh winsock reset in the comand prompt. This is so frustrating and I know that many other people are having the same issue. What should I do? Please Help!!!!

I have the same problem. I have 64-bit Windows 7, all updates installed, anti-virus uninstalled, and have a specific firewall exception made just for iTunes, however the iTunes Store still refuses to load. After waiting a (very long) period of time I get the following screen:

Apple Support tried to help with my request but for some reason refused to listen to the notion that this problem occured because of an iOS5 update (and iTunes 10.5). The only thing I haven't done is wipe my harddrive, which seems to be the only option now.

My girlfriend is having the same issue w/ Vista since she updated to iTunes 9. Can't figure out the problem for the life of me and contacted support and they sent me here. i cannot get the itunes store to load on my windows 7 starter netbook. i use both firefox and IE browsers. and use a 3g dongle connection. itunes has been working fine up until a month ago. now it refuses to fully load. i have checked all intenet options which are correct. and firewall settings, which allows full access to itunes. running the itunes diagnostic reports that i am not the administrator ... despite the fact that i am signed into windows as an administrator!
i recently updated to itunes 10.4. should i go back to an earlier version?
what is causing this enduring frustating problem? and what is itunes doing about it?

i also got the very long list of titles,, in blue writing ... latest cds, movies etc, without any images! like a shopping list, or the bare bones of a web page. but this only appeared on screen after i disconnected from the internet.
i am amazed that itunes are not targeting this problem with a an alert on itunes. it is affecting quite a few users. but they don't seem to care. i've tried every means of contact, but just got the runaround treatment!

ITunes Store image links do not display - previews & purchases do not work

Below are the images of what I am seeing.
And I promise you I have really made an effort to research and try to resolve this without success. I have even run iTunes on a completely seperate computer and a different login (both OS user login and iTunes store login) and have the exact same issue.
I have reinstalled with a reboot (several attempts), performed a winsock reset, followed procedures in TS4123 for LSP conflicts, I have cleared my cache, I have checked for Firewall issues, I have restarted my cable modem, I have copied iTunes store links to a browser to check that images are displaying - nothing resolves this problem.
Email support has only recommended what is already posted in communities forum and on the knowledge base.
I have seen that in past there have been posts related to this specific issue but were not answered (for what I found). It seems that unless you are having a complete white screen when accessing the iTunes store that there is no solution for a problem like mine??
Also only "Ping" will display all images for image links.

Can't purchase or update anything

When I try and purchase a song off my pc, ihpones, or itouch it lets me put in my password like normal and then I get an error message "an unknown error has occurred (5002) There was an error in the itunes store. Please try again later" Checked all my personal info and everything is still as it should be. Also cannot get or update apps on our iphones and itouch. They act like they are starting to load and then quit. I have been back and forth with itunes support through email for a week and he keeps telling me it is a phone problem talk to someone else. Not sure how it can be a phone problem when the same thing is happening to 2 iphones, 1 itouch, and my pc. Any help is appreciated.

This possibly the dumbest thing Apple can do. I just found out the hard way my father in law will not be getting his christmas present. Yes I should have read the fine print, but I honestly thought Apple was smarter than that.
Obviously they haven't seen the money making potential of this so now I will ask for a refund and take my money elsewhere.

Itunes store will not load to create a new account

There are four members of my family. Each family member has their own Windows user account, three with an itunes account. I have been trying to create an account for my youngest son for three hours. The itunes store will not load and gives a "not connected" message. The internet is working fine, and all three of the rest of us can access itunes and the store. I have turned off all parental controls that could have been messing istore up. How do I fix this?

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I'm having the exact same problem. I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes on my iMac and ever since I did the store is a blank white screen. I can get my library content but the store is a no go. Is there any one out there with a solution?
