TS1702 My app is unresponsive and when I try to open it it says "unable to download application" Fix?

My app states "unable to download" when I try to open it. How can I fix this?

- First Force the app to close: Hold down the On/Off button for a few seconds until a red slider appears,
then hold down the Home button until the app quits.
- You can also remove an app from the recents list to force it to close. See “Opening and switching
apps” on page 18.
- Next Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then delete and reinstall the app.
