my apps are not downloading in the i tunes on my phone? itunes app purchases are not downloading since software update. Any suggestions?

Depending upon what country that you are in you might be able to use automatic downloads : on the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac) tick the Music tickbox. That will only apply to future purchases.
For music that has already been bought you might be able to redownload it on that computer via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage

Check your purchase history by going to the iTunes Store and then click on purchases. From there you can see all your purchase history and download what you are missing.

Apps are not downloading on Macbook pro though it says it is, how do I fix it?

I've recently purchase the new Mountain lion on the app store. Everthing seems fine and the app store and launch pad indicate the software is downloading. However, it is not. The download still at zero percent after several hours. I try downloading other apps and the problem is the same.
Apps do not download though lauch pad says they are. My internet connection is good so I don't know what the problem is. Any solutions?

i have this same problem and it affected the ipad 4th gen and i cant do anything except wait for ios 7 to come out ?

Icons for running apps are not showing in the dock

I just noticed that newly opened apps were not appearing in the dock. I then closed and deleted some apps that had been residing permanently in the dock, and started them again. Their icons did not reappear. I'm running Leopard on a G4 ibook. Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?
Also, that little light which comes on under the icon in the dock if the app is open does not come on for Safari. Even though it is open, the icon sits there with no light. Why is there no light, I wonder.

delete the file homedirectory/library/preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and log out/in. your dock, spaces and exposé will be reset to the defaults. see if that fixes the issue.

Apps from the app store are not downloaded to the proper location

My iTunes library is stored on a networked drive and the iTunes Music Folder Location preference is set to that drive. The problem is that when I purchase an app from the app store it is not stored in the folder that is set in iTunes, it stores it on my local drive under Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications.
Any ideas how I can have those apps stored where all of my other iTunes downloads are stored besides me having to manually move them?

My does the same thing but I have my music library on an external Hard Drive. I was glad I found this out before I nuked my machine and reloaded the OS. I moved the apps to the hard drive and then pointed each app in itunes to it new location. That worked until I downloaded a new app and it put that app on my notebooks hard drive. For some reason apple has this as a default location that can not be changed. I think it will come back to hurt them when people like you and I do formate their hard drives and thinking that their apps are backed up. I guess we will have to wait to see if this is fixed in future updates of iTunes.

Previously purchased apps are not listed in the app store app on my new iphone 5.

My husband's new iphone 5 was set up at the apple store. His apps are on the phone, but some don't work. For example, his Navigon app was there, but wouldn't work. So, he uninstalled it. When he tried to reinstall the app, the app store did not list it as previously purchased. In fact, most of his apps were missing from the list. He was able to install it by connecting to the computer, but it still doesn't show up on his app store list. This could be a problem if he needed to download something when he's away from home. Today he purchased two songs on itunes. They show on the computer, but wouldn't download to his iphone. Somehow, itunes is not recognizing his new iphone as an authorized device. What can we do?

Be sure the phone is sign into the Apple ID used to purchase these apps in Settings>iTunes & App Stores. Otherwise the past purchases will not appear.

Apps are not installing on the touch

I recently run a software upgrade on my ipod touch 4g. it made my games stop working, so i reverted to a version from day before.
that completely removed all of my apps and music.
i am now trying to get it all back piece by piece.
finally got some apps back into my itunes.
when i try to sync the apps into the ipod, it doesn't install them.
here is how i am doing it:
1. download the apps for ipod touch using itunes
2. click on my ipod touch device
3. click on "Apps" up top
4. I can see the apps in the little grid, under "Iphone and ipod touch apps" so i check off the apps i want to install on the touch.
5. i can see the preview of my touch desktop change, with new game icons i am trying to sync. But when i press "apply" it attemps to do it.. the progress bar blinks for a while, than goes away and nothing is copied. the checks next to the apps are cleared.
i don't see any errors..

i just checked for updates and got this message: "this version of ipod software (4.3.2) is the current version"
anyone know how i can troubleshoot why my programs are not syncing ?

Apps are not downloading to update

My IPad 2 is not downloading apps that need to be "Updated" all it says is "waiting" there are no apps updating, Since so many are having this problem. Could it be a "Software Issue" 5.1 update somehow did something.

Describe what "cant select" and "cant increase" means.
We cant see what you are doing or with what or where!
These arent things that get "broken".

I bought books from iBooks and they would not down load so I deleted my app and tried to download iBook app and it is waiting and will not download. So I tried to download a different app and that did the same. What can I do?

Same issue here. Have tried reset , reboot, rest and many other things that I probably did not need to but thought why not. I can connect to iTunes though the web but the apps sit their "waiting" and then get the message that it cant connect to iTunes ???.?.?.?.?.
May not be related but my facebook history disappeared at almost the same time. Hope this is just an unfortunate coincidence.
