TS1702 my iphone wont download any apps they keep popping up with ios 4.3
i cant download apps onto my iphone 3g cause they keep saying ios 4.3
I figured out what was going on the app had miss represented how much space it would take it had said it was 1.2g's however it was really 1.9g's which was all I had left on the phone I downloaded it to my computer first from the apps store then was able to see this. At that point I was able to rearrange some memory to accomadate it's size thanx for the help.

i had my ipod touch 2nd gen turned off for a couple of months and recently turned it back on since i turned it back on it wont download any apps. i updated it to the recent software and it still doesnt work

I can't download any apps, it keeps telling me "There is a billing problem with a previous purchanse"! I've checked all my account info and can't figure out the prob??

The app store keeps popping up (with an app to download) while using other apps. It is getting incredibly annoying. I am currently using the QR reader app. How do I get it to stop?
you can try a soft reset, or u can try to turn it off and then back on. Or take it to the apple store and see what they say about it. Hope this helps

3.Devices
then turn off the syncing of your ipod. -
I just updated my phone last night to recent Os. Now I'm having problems with storage and camera and other apps. They won't stay open, they keep closing and keep saying storage full off and on even I never downloaded apps or used the camera... Force an app to close in iOS
Next, I would try restarting and if needed resetting the iPhone -
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPod. Hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the red slider then swipe to power off. Then hold down the sleep / wake button until you see the Apple logo.

it says 'waiting' for a couple of seconds the disappears all of a sudden!

i thought, when i firstly signed up, there was one and only app store. i cant remember if i signed up to the us app store or the greek one. soooo confusing...
The store you use is linked to the credit card on file and the physical address for that credit card. If you setup your account using a Greek credit card and address, then your account is tied to that store.
If you want to try and change that, go to http://expresslane.apple.com and click on itunes and then go to manage your account to see what you are tied to. -
How come everytime I try to download ANY app it tells me I need IOS 4.3?
I even updated and restored my iPod, no luck. 2nd Generation iPod touch, but even facebook wont install.
Your iPod2G can only run iOS 4.2.1, looks like all updated apps don't support 4.2 anymore.

i have got my brothers ipod on my itunes account, he is wanting to down load apps but its not letting him as it is saying he needs to hav IOS 5 or above. so i have followed steps settings, general, update. but when i get to the update bit there isnt an option to update, now i dont know what to do
You can not update directly from your iPod Touch until iOS 5 or later.
What generation iPod Touch do you have?
Here are the most current iOS for each generation of iPod Touch:
1st Gen iPod Touch - iOS 3.1.3
2nd Gen iPod Touch - iOS 4.2.1
3rd Gen iPod Touch - iOS 5.1.1
4th & 5th Gen iPod Touch - iOS 6.1.3

I have this issue and then I try and hit the home button to exit the app and it won't let me so I have to double click and bring up another app and then go to the home button to exit. It's quite annoying.

My iPhone 4s didn't do it until the latest update so imnpretty sure it's on the apple server some sort of bug maybe? Not sure. But whatever it is I really would like to download apps. It won't let me download any apps and my phone is brand new.
Sorry guysy iPhone says unable to download application at this time and I try all day and it still won't let me download no matter how hard I try.
