Have been trying to get my Nike + iPod to work and all it keeps saying is "activating sensor" what do i do

i waited for 24 hours... no luck! the network that i am using is problematic i guess... with another network tht i tried, facetime gets activated in a jiffy!

Update: I seem to have fixed the problem! I went to the "summary" section of my iPod after clicking on the device on the left side of iTunes. I checked the box that allowed me to "manually manage music and videos" and applied this option. The songs are syncing! And, yay, they're playing on my iPod now! Hopefully, this helps anyone else who might have this problem. There might be other issues, but this is working for now.

Serial number Nike + iPod Sensor

Hello dear!
I bought a Nike + iPod Sensor which has 4h125pmmvsx serial number, no more accepted so I can support.
The equipment is not working, and the manual, your battery has a life of 1000 hours. It did not last more than 20 hours.
Where can I use to solve my problem? I'm in Brazil and do not know who to look for.

I was just wondering if the Nike+iPod sensors have a battery and if it does, can it die? Why I ask is because I was trying to turn on the sensor and link it to my iPod touch and my iPod nano. But it just says searching for sensor. and i put the sensor in my shoe and walk around but it still can not link? and i also did this:
1. Hold down center button and menu button on iPod until the Apple Logo appears and then let go
2. Hold down the sensor's button for 5 seconds then press it twice one after another quickly, so hold for 5 then click click
3. Put the sensor in your shoe
4. Put the receiver into iPod and go to Nike+ iPod > Settings > Link then click center button to link to new sensor
5. Walk around and the receiver should pick up on the sensor
But it still won't work.. so i was wondering if my sensor died... So can the Nike+ iPod sensor die? Please help, because i really don't want to buy another one.

"Nike + Ipod" piece not supported by my IPOD

Just bought the Nike + IPod sensor pack with the Ipod adapter, but when I plug in the adapter into my Ipod 5th generation, I get the followiong message "The currently attached accessory is not supported by this Ipod". What do I do to make it work?

The Nike+ Sport kit will only work with Nanos (all generations) and the 2nd gen Touch. There is nothing to be done to make it work with a 5th gen. Sorry.

Try restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). It may not be properly assigning an IP address to your iPhone.

Nike +ipod playlists not playing complete playlist

Is anyone having issues with using the Nike +ipod for specific playlists. I have my favorite playlist for running and it's skipping songs and I can't get to specific songs that I like. The first time I used it it worked and played all the songs...now I play it and it randomly skips songs and I can't go back to get the song. Any insite would be great.

Myabe obvious, but do you have the Shuffle option turned on under the top-level Settings menu?

Nike + iPod app not working

I just had my Nike remote watch switched out because when I would use the Nike + iPod app on my iPhone 3GS and I would try pausing or going to the next track or backwards to prior track nothing would happen , now after getting the replacement Nike remote watch I tried to link it to the phone as I have done before but now the phone won't link up the Nike remote watch now . This started after I updated my OS to the 3.1 because before that it worked fine can someone please help me , thanks .

HT1386 I have synced the items from itunes to an iphone 4 without problem, except the two albums I just purchased did not sync. They show up on the itunes on my desktop and on my ipod, but not on the new iphone. What do I need to do?

I have an itunes account and an ipod, and when I purchased 2 albums on the computer they synced straight to the ipod. I bought an iphone and used the usb cord from the computer to it to sync the itunes albums to the new phone. Everything transfered, and those were albums I had uploaded (not purchased from the itunes store), except the two albmus I just purchased from the itunes store. They appear on my itunes on the computer and ipod, but not on the iphone. What did I fail to do or did I do incorrectly?

This might sound weird, but here's an idea which worked for me re music that was newly added to itunes and showed up in my ipod but wouldn't play - I simply played the tracks in itunes first, just a second of time or so will do it, not the whole track, then connect the ipod and sync again and this time they played - hope this helps.

I had an iPod and I transferred all my notes to my iPhone with iCloud, I am trying to erase notes from iPod and I want to keep them all in iPhone, but as I erase one note from iPod it does the same with iPhone, I don't want to deactivate iCloud from iPod because I gave it to my brother. So I just need someone to tell me how to not erase my notes on iPhone and erase them all on iPod.

If you are synching the two via iCloud you can't. If you want separate content on the two devices in note, take one of them off icloud. (Or put another way, if you don't wnat the content between the two synched, why are you synching them?)

okay. so i just bought an ipod touch about a month ago because i had an ipod classic but wanted to use nike+. Well i was cruisin the apple website looking to buy nike+ and realized that it says that it only works with 2nd generation touchs. I was about to bust a nut. I did not just spend 250 dollars on a touch and now i cant even use nike+
I bought the 2.2 software upgrade a bit before that, and im wondering if with this upgrade i can use nike+? I understand that the 2nd gen touch has a built in thingy majigger, but if i bought the sports kit (both the sensor fo rhte ipod nad the reciever for the shoe) can i still use it?

And here I thought I was buying a reasonably up-to-date product six months ago, when I got my Touch.
Is there some really compelling reason why the plug-in receiver will work with Nanos of all kinds... but not Touchs?

Sensor Not Activating?

I just bought the sensor for the iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and when I open up the app, it won't pick the signals from the sensor? It will stay at the screen where it says to walk to activate sensor. I do not know if the sensor is on or not, or I have to walk a bit more for it to activate.

I have a major issue. i have used my touch for many walks. i also have 3 sensors and receivers and figured the touch would better b/c no matter what shoes i pick up i can sync the touch to that sensor. for some reason it wont link and tells me it sees one there but just keeps searching. I've restored twice. one hard restore and then just restore from the iTunes screen. i have also reset my settings from the touch itself and it still wont link it. any suggestions before i actually contact apple for support. i have 1, 2 and 3 gen nanos so i know about the nike+ and all the little glitches but to restore and it still wont link up I'm lost. it also didn't delete my current runs. anytime i've had to restore my nano's it always deletes my works out. funny thing on my 3rd gen is it has history but no current saved workouts. that's something that's never been fixed and i have a new nano b/c previous one would just lock up. they are great products but when there issues it's sometimes not easy getting it fixed and we're 2 hours from the closet Apple store.
for now I'm off to put my other shoes with sensors in the dryer and see if the touch will pick up my 3rd sensor. if anyone has other suggestions or things to try that i haven't i'm all ears. : )
