TS1702 Not able to update apps. Not just one, but none of the apps will update

I am not able to update "any" app. My apps are all free.
Upon prompting to enter my password, I enter the password, the update circular arrow begins spinning, then the update rectangle again appears.
I tap update, am asked for my password again, and I am caught in the same loop. The App never updates.

Close the App Store and reboot the iPad.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I have a 4S and upgraded to iOS 6 last week without any issues.
Have you tried resetting your phone (hold the power and home buttons down together until the silver apple appears)?

Apple Tv (3rd generation) says it is connected (via ethernet), but none of the app, or channels, will work. They all say they are unvailable, try again later. The only thing that seems to work is iTunes. (I live in a dorm if that helps)

Its not properly connected to the network. Most school networks require login via webpage, which isn't possible as ATV has no browser. You will need to contact the IT dept or the network provider.

Got internet connection but none of the apps will access

I am new in the mac-world and I encountered a first problem: for some reason none of my applications have access to internet anymore though everything worked fine a couple of hours ago. Now it works neither with cable nor wirelessly. I had little snitch installed but after the demo was over I deinstalled and restarted the mac. Now, the diagnose says there is no problem and it looks like everything was fine, but I can't access the internet with none of the apps (firefox, entourage, skype, adium, software update....). Maybe I changed any preferences I shouldn't have when I was playing with the system preferences...
can anybody pleeeaasseee help me?

HT2534 I've just downloaded free apps after purchasing my first apple product (ipod touch). But none of the apps will open

I've just downloaded 13 free apps to my ipod touch. (I'm new to apple products, and never done this before). When I tap on the app icon, nothing happens - none of them open. Can anyone help me to figure this out? I must have done something wrong when setting the device up?

Sure but the transfer is not direct. Simply sync the iPad2 to the same iTunes/computer that you use to sync the original iPad. Each iPad will have a unique name and you can configure each one the way that you wish.

I just reread your post. After you do the above, tell your wife to sync to her computer (or computer login). That will wipe out all of your stuff and start her off brandy new.

Okay. I hope I can remeber all my steps exactly because I fixed my own problem...with absolutely no help from Apple. I opened itunes. I connected my ipod touch to my computer. On my itunes page that shows my songs in the upper right side under the search library box there is an itunes button and since I am connected there is an ipod button. DO NOT CLICK THE ARROW in the ipod button...just click in the mail part of the button. On mine it opened to a summary page that gave info on my ipod. The menu bar has Summary, Apps, Tones, Music and more. I clicked on the Music button. I chose to Sync the entire music library. That replaced what was on my ipod but what was on there was going to be put back on so I was okay with it. I then clicked the Sync button on the lower right side and it sync'd and all my songs are on my ipod again. I hope this might help someone else. Good luck.

How do I find the photos on my old computer and get them into Lightroom on my new computer?

You would need the catalog and the images from the old computer if you want your work that you have done previously. You will have to copy the images and the catalog from your old computer to the new one. Don't you know where you imported images to?

iOS 5.1.1 is the lastest for the iPad 1.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

Also consider Deleting any Apps you have Purchased / Downloaded but you now never use..

This problem has been reported a few times. The solution is to install any new App say a free one. This seems to fix whatever has gone wrong.

Go to the App Stor and download an app- any free app will do, it doesn't matter.
Doing this usually "resets" your device's "app awareness" and you should be able to run any app with no problem.
And no, you don't have to keep that free one you just downloaded. You can delete it if you don't want it.

Thanks for your advice, I went to the apple shop today for a face to face meeting with a tech and he checked everything and could not figure out why I was having this problem so we decided to give up on that account and create a whole new one for me using a different email address.
Now I can download apps on both my iPhone and ipad2.
If anyone is reading this in Brisbane Australia go to the Chermside apple shop and ask for Wade. He was fantastic!

Pages 5.0 and 10.9.
While App Store tells me there is no update avalable to Pages, which it says was installed Nov. 4, its the old Avatar/logo thingo and, as I say, it will not open the Pages docs created on my MacBook, which definiitely does have the new Pages running smoothly.

We have rolled out a fix for this issue.
Please log off and log back in to your machine and the issue should be resolved automatically. In case that does not work, please manually run the msi installer posted here (may require reboot).
