TS1702 the walking dead in-app purchase won't work?  just says purchasing and nothing happens for over an hour?

I just purchased a new IPAD.  App store works fine to purchase apps but when I play THE WALKING DEAD it will not allow me to purchase in-app levels??  It just says "purchasing" and nothing happens for over an hour.  I have reset, redownloaded the first version, all software is updated.  The full game can not be purchased in ITUNES so please help!

Nobody can help you without proper system and version information or other technical details. if the update is botched, then run the cleaner tool and reinstall from scratch.

    Here are a bunch of things that you can try to get the downloads to resume.
    Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
    If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
    Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
    Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
    You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
    You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
    If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

    OK. I am going to guess that you dragged the applications to the Trash. This does not work for uninstalling Adobe applications. Please go to Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers and use the links there to uninstall the applications. You should then be able to install them again using the Adobe Application Manager.

    You should be able to log out of an account by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and you can then log in with your new account.
    Any content that you downloaded with your old account will remain tied to that old account, so only that account can potentially redownload them and/or download updates to its apps. You should be able to reset the password on an iTunes account via http://iforgot.apple.com e.g. by answering the account's security questions.

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

    Hello ..do you have a history on the phone? did you get it wet? was it dropped? have you been using an authentic ORIGINAL apple charging cable?
    this problem occurs when there is a short circuit  in the phone... you  most likely got  it wet at some point and maybe didnt even realize it? The moisture in the phone hasb probablly  oxidized one or several capacitors, integrated chips thereby short circuiting the phone. that is why he phone  is acting erratic because these short circuits inadvertently "activates" other circuits.. eventually the phone will not turn on anymore- the heat will stress the citcuit board and you will have discontinuity along your main power lines and the phone will cease to function..i see this alllll the time in our shop
    the fact you upgraded to ios6 will even work the phone harder because its a more powerful operating system taking full advantage of the A4 chip..

    You can only update via the ipod with ios 5 or later.
    You need to update via itunes on your computer as always.

  • When I log off, there is always an update waiting to be installed but the wheel just keeps spinning and nothing happens .

    For the past two weeks, whenever I've logged off there has always been one update waiting to be installed. I found this curious, so last night I waited to see what would happen. The wheel just kept spinning and spinning--and pretty obviously the update was not installed. And now the update is still waiting to be installed. (Only in the last instance, when I was checking to see what happened, did I power off the computer. In all the previous instances, I found the computer OFF when I checked the following morning.     Alright so here's what happens.
    1: I go to Apple.com/itunes
    2: I click 'download itunes'
    3: I see that it has auto-selected 'iTunes for windows (64 bit)'
    4: I click the 'download' button
    5: ...nothing happens. Well, it does go to the 'thank you for downloading itunes' page, but guess what? I HAVEN'T downloaded itunes.
    I can go to my 'downloads' page on my browser. There's nothing there.
    I even opened my Task Manager and looked for any process that looked like iTunes or Apple.
    My browser didn't say anything to the effect of 'we blocked a pop up' either.
    What is going on, and how do I stop it?

    Just find an alternate download button! It worked for me anyways. Just go to a web page that shows something on iTunes that you want.

    Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6, holding down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
    - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
    - Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
    - Test the issue after each step.  If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.
