TS1702 Trouble installing apps

Hello, I recently bought an iPod touch 5 and have been downloading games and apps for about three days now, but i'm having a problem. When installing a few of my games, they either quit installing and slowly start all over, or I get an error message saying that I can't install the game right now. One of them I purchased for $6.99, and I'm worried that I wasted money because I can't install it. i'm pretty sure that the games I'm trying to download aren't iPad only. I know I seem a bit low-tech, but this is my first "smartpod" if you understand what I mean. How do I fix this problem?
Details: the apps are dark with the white installing circle on them, and under the app badge is the word "installing". The circle usually finishes around halfway when it suddenly turns all dark again with the app's name under it. If I click on the app, the name changes back into "installing". It then repeats the cycle. This happened many times with some apps, and I'm not sure what to do.

i'm having a problem installing apps on my iphone when i choose the apps that i want to sync it's showing me that the syncronization is completed but it not transfering or installing the apps on my iphone and i can't find the problem and i've tried to download the apps directly from app store on iphone but still when i sync it on itunes for songs or pictures it's removing the apps so what should i do to get it fixed thanks

Welcome to the Discussions Boards.
There are a couple of possibilities here.
First, make sure both iTunes and the iPhone are up to date.
You might try deauthorizing and reauthorizing your computer:

Try downloading a fresh music file from the iTunes Store on the computer and syncing it to the iPhone.
Download the Free Single of the Week on your computer.
Sync it to the iPhone.
If it syncs successfully, check to see what ID is associated with the APPs that don't sync by right-clicking on the APP and choosing Get Info.
It is possible that the APPs themselves are the cause of the issue.
You can delete the APP(s) from iTunes and re-download them without charge.
Lastly, backing up and restoring the iPhone may resolve the issue:

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

TS1702 Re-installing apps

I deleted an entire folder by accident and I went into the app store to re-download them but it say they are already installed. Any suggestions on how to get them back on my phone?

1. how do you delete an entire folder accidentally? you have to delete each app in that folder separately.
2. Swipe to the right. new apps load on secondary screen. otherwise go to Settings > general > reset > reset hoe screen layout.

TS1702 Half installed apps

I stared to down load a app but left the wifi area before it fully downloaded , the app is not on iPad and when I go back to App Store it shows the install icon half greyed , any ideas how to resolve this please , the 2 apps were I player and you tube, I have installed other apps since with no problem, thanks

Hi LamaRama, Even I'm facing the same issue for most of the apps. Can you tell me how did you get rid of 'em?!

TS1702 Trouble with apps

On the App Store they say the apps are free but when I go to install them it says about I have to purchase them but its. Only just started doing it and not sure how to resolve it

Yep. Its only on the ipod that I orginally downloaded it on. For the other 2 (all 3 are synced together with the same library), when I plug them into the computer and itunes opens up, it shows that the app is downloaded. When I click on Apps, and try to manually move it onto the ipod it goes through the whole process of installing. But when it finishes installing, the app is no longer on the actual ipod screen, although it still shows up on the computer screen. I don't know what the heck is going on!!

I am new to Apple products. I am trying to install an app on my iPad. I am logged in with my apple Id. I get an error saying cant connect to the App Store. Do I need to have iTunes downloaded to be able to download apps.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds). Ignore the "Slide to power off"

TS1702 Trouble accessing App Store!?

I upgraded my iPod touch(4th generation) to iOS 6 and I face trouble accessing the App Store. When I make a search on the App Store it take me to the results but immediately crashes and takes me to the Home screen. This happens every time I make a search! Help me resolve this issue!

I think there's a problem with the update server.

TS1702 Trouble in App Store on iPad 2 and 3GS iPhone using IOS 6.0

There's no search icon on the bottom bar. No apps listed under Feature & Charts. Anyone else with this problem? I can see Updates on iPad and iPhone, and the a list of Apps populates when I go into Purchased. But nothing populates under Feature and under Charts. I've looked in Settings but don't see anything there to indicated a problem. If you know how I can fix this issue, please advise. Thanks.

Quit the app store completely.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try the App Store again.
Or try this ....
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again.
Or try this ...
Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.

TS1702 Trouble getting Apps to update

I downloaded iOS7 two days ago. Then I clicked update all in the app store and there were 32 updates. It's been two days and most are still in the waiting status. What's going on and how can I get them to update?

I figured it out. I had purchased most of my apps on the iphone itself, so I needed to transfer purchases from the old iphone to the Macbook Air. Then, once they were there, I could sync them down to the new phone.

Start here, and reset your security questions, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.

Error when installing apps from OVI Store on my x7...

I have trouble installing apps from OVI recently. I pretty often get ``Installation error``. Ive installed the software update today Its still the same.
Any segestions ???

I would suggest you try and update to the latest Ovi Store, now called Nokia Store.
With your phone's browser go to the following address:
http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/new-symbian-3
you should then get the option to install the latest Nokia Store client, and this should include new QT files. Corrupt QT files are usually the problem when installations from the Nokia/Ovi Store fails.

TS1702 trouble buying and installing apps

I am having trouble updating and purchasing apps. When I go to the app store, go to my updates and click update all. I enter my apple id password and only some of my apps will update. also when I go to purchase apps, I click on install app, enter my apple id password, then it changes to "installing" for a few seconds then goes back to "buy app" and nothing happens. I am so confused please help.

It sounds like some of your Apps were installed using a different Apple id Could that be the case ?

Trouble installing the apps after downloading Adobe Creative Cloud
