TS1702 When I touch an app it wouldn't open/start.
When I touch an app it wouldn't open/start. I have did all the updates, restarts, etc, etc. Does anyone have any more ideas. It always worked fine until I did an update for this app now it wouldn't start. I even uninstalled it and didn't do the update and it still wouldn't open???

Restart your computer while holding down left mouse key. That will eject the CD and your Mac will start as normal.

No, actually this is likely "Voiceover" got turned on by mistake.
It should be "reading back to you" what you selected (which is the highlighted box around the app)
Try triple-clicking the home button to turn Voiceover off.
If that doesn't work you're going to have to go into Settings to do it.
Tap the app so the box shows up around it- then double-tap the same app. It will then open. You have to use three fingers to swipe upward to get it to scroll down a page. -
When I touch my apps the screen blinks but nothing happens what can I do?
when i touch an app to start it, the screen blinks but nothing happens. I did refresh that didn't help. What next?

i got macbook pro 13" i bought in 2011 but its now getting slow when i start up or when shutting down .and apps takes time to open like just bouncing????????

When i0S7 was installed on iphone all purchased apps disappeared. Now when I go to app store I can open app, but cannot get app to install on phone. How can I get apps installed back onto iphone screen?
Press your home button, then scroll the home screen all the way over to the right. I found all my purchased apps were moved to a different home screen. Might be a similar issue.. let us know what you found out!!

When I touch my App Store, it starts Loading but won't open, just keeps loading.
Why App Store won't open? When tapped, it just keeps loading and loading. All other functions of iPhone work great.

Help! I have an Ipad that was loaned to us at school to use with one of our autistic children and when you touch on an application it doesnt do anything
If it's only downloaded apps that aren't working (i.e. the Apple built-in ones are) then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
Otherwise try closing all apps completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

When trying to delete apps that I don't want, I get them to shake but no 'x' appears; what do I do?
These apps you wish to delete aren't ones that came included with the iPad, are they? Those cannot be deleted. If these are apps you installed, try restarting your iPad:

and see if it will then let you delete those apps.

Hi - while attempting to update apps from the "App Store" the message "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store" but am not asked for a password or user id BUT I have no problem connecting to the iTunes store directly.
