TS1702 why can't i update the app more than 50mb from itune but can throught wifi?
I tried to update Apps more than 50mb through itune, but found the Apps which are needed to be update are mark "Downloaded" in iTune store. Of course if the Apps mark "Downloaded" are not able to do anything with it. On the other hand, I can simply use wifi to update the Apps, more than 50mb, throught my iphone instead of iTune. Is there any problem with iTune or something wrong with my phone?
In the App section of your itunes library ( NOT the sync pages) there is a button at the bottom which says Check for updates

I have iphone 4s with iO6. My problem is I can no longer update my apps since "cannot connect to itunes store" always shows on my screen when i try to. Tried fixing by changing the dates, turning off location as suggested in some forums but both didn't work! Please help!! Thanks.
You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -
I have iBooks 2.1 on ipad. I changed my password and can no longer update the app. If I delete the app and install the updated version, will I lose the books I have purchased?
Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app) -
From the day 01/04/2014, I can not even update the apps on my iPad 4 or buy via my iPad. The same happens with the iPad mini ... My internet connection being excellent. I usually can get with the devices on the Internet, the App Store, enter into any service of any Cloud Apps. But I can not update or buy apps App What is happening?

I have a new i phone and for some reason it has picked up a wrong apple ID in the App Store, its OK in ITunes how can i correct this?
The Apple ID for future purchases is in Settings>Store>Apple ID. However, apps have to be updated using the Apple ID used to originally purchase them. This can't be changed. If the App store is asking you to provide a password for a different Apple ID when you are updating apps, it's because this ID was used to purchase it originally.

I can't log in the App store because am from Zambia which is not listed in Apple outlets. How do i go around this as apple products are used globally and not only in the listed countries. My product is a Mac book pro. i feel this limits how i can use my product
Unfortunately you have taken an Apple product outside of the area where Apple currently does business. There isn't legally a way around this. Apple cannot license apps to you where you currently live.

I can't install my new apps (bigger than 50mb) it just says "Will install" on itunes then it wont sync
I've tried to restart itunes and iphone and log out and in on itunes and nothing happends.
When I do something on my iphone (move a app or such) the itunes will move it to, but if I move it on itunes it doesn't move on the iphone.

Facebook app is blocked on "waiting..". I tried to close the app firstly but it doesn't appear on the multitasking. I tried the normal and the hard reset. I tried to move the app in another group with itunes but it is still in "waiting". Any suggestion?

Hello, trying to download the latest iTunes software version, a pop up comes with a "invalid signature" message. Try to do download only with the same results. I can buy and download from iTunes but can't get the latest version?

I have more than a 100 apps which I do not use but are there in my iTunes library! My iPhone has only a few (40) updates. As I am not allowed to use office wi-fi to download or update my phone apps, I want to use iTunes on my PC for the same. But I do not want to waste time searching for the apps on my phone and then update it using iTunes. Also, I do not want to update all the apps in my iTunes Library as there are more gthan 100. Can anyone suggest me a method where I can just update the apps that are on my phone using iTunes??
I have the latest iTunes installed.Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a different setup you transfer the old library from a computer or a backup directly to the new setup, not the device to the library. Media syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

HT5622 My iPad 2 won't update the apps I've purchased from the App Store.
When I go to the App Store, I continually have Apps to update yet when I hit the update button all I get is a blank white screen. None of the Apps needing to be updated are shown.
This is an ongoing issue.
Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. This is a problem that Apple has to fix. If you look around the forum, you will see many, many discusssions about this and they have been going on for a few days.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store. -
I have ipad 3 & daughter new ipad mini with RD. She has nano and I have classic. Her nano syncs to her own laptop and mine to my desktop. I bought iTunes Match and authorised both iPads and both iPods. I have now enabled iTunes Match in my ipad and was warned it would replace my library. I pressed "enable" and now the 1800 songs in my library are gone and all I've got is the music my daughter bought from iTunes. What have I done wrong and how can I get my songs back. When I bought iTunes Match I got 1 e-mail confirming subscription and another providing receipt but nothing else no links etc. any assistance would be appreciated.
ArccctwcYou can only upload music from your computer's iTunes, you can't do it from an iOS device - when you subscribe to iTunes Match on your computer it should have scanned your music library on it and matched or uploaded any non-iTunes purchased music to it.
Do you have copies of those tracks anywhere e.g. on an iOS device or on your backup of your downloads/library ? If they are iTunes purchases then they should be in the cloud. If they were copied from CDs or bought from other sources then if they are only on an iOS device (i.e. you don't have them on a backup) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

Can I turn up the volume more than maximum volume?
I'm using iMac with no external speakers connected. I always want to turn up the volume more than the maximum volume but I don't know how to do. Is there any ways? Thanks.
Ahh, think about it a moment. It's called "maximum" for a reason.

My iPhone will not download more than 50mb from the app store.
I have fast iPhone LTE unlimited service from my provider. If my download is larger than 50MB I have to switch to wifi. At work my wifi connection is 2.5MB and my LTE service is 20MB. How do I stay at the fast speed for the download? Was this an oversite on apple's side?
Waiting for help.it's supposed to be that way so you don't kill your data plan.

This is a user to user forum; there is no one from Apple here to get back to you. Apps and music are forever associated with the Apple ID account they were purchased with. There is no way to transfer them to a different account. That is why Apple lets you change the email address associated with your account without having to get a new account. If you didn't do this, but instead got a completely new account, you are out of luck. You can still go back to the old account and just get a new email address for it.
