TS1702 why cannt i download any app on my ipad except via the usb connection to my laptop's itunes software? i am rejected by "sign in to the greek app store". what's the difference?
i thought, when i firstly signed up, there was one and only app store. i cant remember if i signed up to the us app store or the greek one. soooo confusing...
The store you use is linked to the credit card on file and the physical address for that credit card. If you setup your account using a Greek credit card and address, then your account is tied to that store.
If you want to try and change that, go to http://expresslane.apple.com and click on itunes and then go to manage your account to see what you are tied to.

That's right. You can only download apps, music, or whatever in the specific country store where you have an account.

I am logged in with my profile. And when I go into app store to download something, I can see the app but it does not give me an option to download. ALSO if I try open an app that is already loaded onto my devices, it opens for a split second and then shuts down. PLEASE HELP!

2. Do a Reset: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Note: You will not lose any data

I figured out what was going on the app had miss represented how much space it would take it had said it was 1.2g's however it was really 1.9g's which was all I had left on the phone I downloaded it to my computer first from the apps store then was able to see this. At that point I was able to rearrange some memory to accomadate it's size thanx for the help.

I just recently bought an Ipod touch. It will not allow me to purchase apps. It askes me for my billing information and once i put it in it tell me to go to the Itunes support center. Hi there, I am having trouble watching YouTube and I could not download any apps store. What should I do now ?
It really doesn't matter which iPad you are using.
You might want to try rebooting your router. Even if you are able to connect to the Internet on every other device and even if Safari is working otherwise, it can sometimes help. Just unplug it for about 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
A couple of other easy and simple things to try are to quit all apps and restart your iPad or reboot the iPad
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Sometimes clearing Safari and restarting can help as well.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

Can't seem to download any app despite entering the correct password and answering 3 security question but still in the end it comes up the message that my session has timed out no matter what! Please help, many thanks in adv!!
Try doing it on your computer with iTunes and then sync to your iPad to see if it clears the problem.

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them
