Solution discovered.  Opened itunes; list of apps on left column; clicked install; changed to will install or similar;
checked Automatically install new apps.  Clicked Save.  Clicked Sync.  Apps install to IPad completed.
Being new user of iPad, on learning curve.  I know such simple questions aggitate experienced Apple users.  Problem was previously stated.  Will try to find different resource to post questions.  I did not see option to edit or amend my post.

    I have tried all of the above, downloading from AppStore still doesn't work, no matter which application I try. Amy more ideas?

    Sorry to have been unclear. The issue is that any download i try to do from the app store will freeze, saying "pending", but nothing more happens.

  • TS1702 Problems with Bell TV App

    Trying to get the Bell TV APP to work. Connecting with Wi-FI. Works with my old 1st Gen Ipad, but same error all the time when I try to watch videos on my Ipad3.  "Error loading video. Try again Later [error 1521]".  I see by the reviews on the App store, I'm not the only one. Bell support is absolutly no help. they blame it on Apple.

  • TS1702 I got this error when doing a restore

    I got this error when doing a restore and the restrictions were turned on .  I disabled restrictions and the restore was able to complete.

    The error in itunes had a link to http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1702.  I placed this message here for anyone that might navigate to the same message and would hopefully find this.  Yes turning off restrictions allowed the restore to complete and everyone is now happy.

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.     Remove the application from your device and reinstall it.
    1. Touch and hold any application icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle.
    2. Tap the "x" in the corner of the application you want to delete.
    3. Tap Delete to remove the application and all of its data from your device.
    4. Press the Home button.
    5. Go to the App Store.
    6. Search for the application and then download it again.

  • TS1702 Apps wont stay open

    I have an iphone4s. Two of my apps; Twitter & Orange, open for literally 3 seconds, then close. Ive tried turning phone off & on, hard reset, reinstalling app - nothing works. Ant ideas?

  • TS1702 I have been experiencing lots of troubles since I downloaded iOS 6.

    My iPod Touch 4G (32GB) used to work wonderfully.
    However, since I downloaded the new iOS, it keeps shutting down some apps.
    The most frustrating issue is that the Magellan RoadMate app (GPS) does not correctly indicate the street where I am driving.
    I use the Magellan app with Bad-Elf, and I did not have issues before the iOS upgrade.
    I tried everything, including restarting,  restoring, etc, but nothing worked.
    Could it be possible to downgrade the iOS to the former version? Or, is there any solution?

    Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

    It sounds like you are getting some unexpected behaviour from an app you downloaded from the App store. I want to recommend the troubleshooting outlined in this article named:

    2. Check for app updates
    You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
    Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
    If  prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
    Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
    3. Install another app from the App Store
    If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
    4. Restart the app
    If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
    5. Restart your device
    Turn the device off and on.
    6. Reinstall the affected app
    Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
    Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
    Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.

  • TS1702 How can i delete my iTunes Account?

    Because of the new Security questions that iTunes has put on my Account, I can not download new apps to put on my phone. I have been in contact with Apple, iTunes and iCloud. Now I am to the point I just want to delete my current account and make a new one. This is so stupid, iTunes has been no help to me at all, the Apple people where rude to me and the iCloud has not even contacted me back. What am i soppose to do. I am very upset with all 3 of these company's, if you are going to change you product tell the people that are using it that you are going to change it and if there is a problem fix it. This is stupid i am now going on 2 weeks of not being able to download anything. I think that iTunes should allow me to at least make my own security questions and if you are going to make them for the customer at least let that person know the answer to there own account. I am going to say it again and again this corruptions needs to take responsiblity of there actions and if there is a problem fix it....

    Actually Brooke, iTunes did that for additional Security purposes. It's not corruption. If iTunes is corrupt, they could've not entitled customers for refund when the customers does not want what they bought. If you're going to delete the account, all of your purchases will be gone. The security questions are originally set-up by you. If you can't remember setting them up, iTunes would likely ask you three questions. If it is asking you 3 questions, it means it's asking you to setup the questions now. If it's asking you 2 questions, it means it has been configured by YOU before. Go to appleid.apple.com to manage your apple id and see if you have a rescue email address where you can easily send the reset security questions email.

  • TS1702 previously downloaded apps no longer available on my ipod touch????

    Hi, My iTouch 8gb (model A1288-2nd generation) - after not having a lot of my Artwork for my Apps (they just disappeared-went grey-if tapped could still access them tho) I decided to individually remove/restore but with no luck.  I then restored the entire iTouch - I can no longer download these apps that were previously on this unit back onto it - it says that "ït was not installed on the iPod because it requires a newer version of the iPod software" my version I have is iOS 4.2.1 (downloaded today).  WHY does my iTouch no longer support these previously accessable Apps  - PLEASE HELP!!

    The current version of those Apps available on the App store apparently requires a iOS level higher than 4.2.1. The older versions of those Apps which you had before you deleted them did run on iOS 4.2.2
    Since App store only carries the latest version of Apps you are out of luck on those Apps. In this case deleting the Apps was not a wise choice.
    One might be able to say more if you gave the names of the Apps in this situation.

  • TS1702 When I update to IOS6 on my 4S Facebook does not work properly, the news feed never updates it only says no new storeys and shows a picture of an antenna. When I reset my phone and go back to IOS5 Facebook works fine. What's up with IOS6 ????

    When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly

    No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

    I am not familiar with Citrix Reciever but is it possible it is open or being used in another open app?
    Try quitting all apps then try again.
    Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app

    If you remove and reinstall an app, or install an app on a new device, you'll keep your non-consumable purchases, but you might lose your consumable purchases. For example, if you install a game from your iPhone on your iPod touch, the game levels will sync, but not the extra ammo or experience points.
