Simple, You have a hardware problem that only Apple can fix. So you need to take it back in to an Apple store and have it fixed by Apple. If it is still within it's one year warranty period it will be free.
If you khaven't bought the Apple care Extended Warranty, Applecare, then I suggest you do that before the standard one year warranty runs out. You can't buy it after that one year warranty runs out and to fix any Mac out of warranty is Very Expensive.

TS1717 iTunes shuts down when Music Match gets to 8495 of 8498 songs.

This is a "wits end" plea! I've been using iTunes and Windows (all versions) for years with nary a hiccup. This setup with Windows 7 supporting iTunes 10.6.3 and iOS 5.1.1 supporting my iPhone was working fine until I turned on Music Match. When the scan count gets to 8495 of 8498 songs iTunes posts the "iTunes has encountered an error" frame then shuts down. When I restart iTunes it requires a log-out and back-in to the Store then to turn on Music Match again which restarts the error loop.
Reviewing previous posts I've uninstalled iTunes and QuickTime and reinstalled them again, moved the "c:\users\username\app\apple computer" folders, and worked the other suggestions including starting iTunes in "Safe mode". There are no "plug-ins" at all.
None of these solutions have fixed this Music Match problem.
Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this issue?

PS: I did notice that even though I downloaded the "64bit" version of iTunes it still installed in the "Program Files (x86)" 32 bit directory.Friends: Here's the answer to at least my problem of having iTunes crash most of the way through Step 3 of the iTunes Match process: There were Voice Memo files mixed in with the music files. Although both are listed as *.m4a files, the match system hiccupped when encountering them.
Solution: Use the "Info" button to find out where the possibly offending files are located. Go to that location and move them someplace else.
Once the offending files are gone the entire process works like a charm.
Now why couldn't Apple have told us that little "secret" instead of having us *customers* thrashing around in the dark?
Hopefully this will help someone else out there.

I recently started having the problem of iTunes shutting down immediately when someone on another computer enters the password i have on my shared music and then try to access it. the message i receive on my computer is "The application iTunes shut down unexpectedly." i tried having other users try to access it and same result every time. is there something i can do to fix this or does anyone know what could be wrong?

MacBook shuts down unexpectedly when the MagSafe is touched or removed
Hi, I got my new MacBook during November of 2009 but two weeks ago it started shutting down by itself once I touch the magsafe of the macbook or remove the magsafe. All it needs is a simple touch and it shuts down. When it does shut down, the light indicator doesn't come on anymore. I have to keep removing the magsafe, and plugging it back in like 20 times until it starts charging again. So now I just let it fully charge every time I use it since any sudden movement will cause it to shut down. I will be making an appointment next week at the apple store because I had no time to go these past 2 weeks. I never dropped it and take good care of it. I am just wondering what might be the cause of this? I hope they do not take weeks to fix the mac since I have a lot of homework to do... Thanks!
Anything is possible, but a firmware issue is not very probable.
Did Apple troubleshoot and repair your Mac? It's not the iBook as listed in your profile is it?
If Apple recently did the repairs and the problem persist then you should contact them, as they are obligated to fix it.
Did they for sure rule out the Magsafe adapter?
Which board did they replace? The logic board or just the DC board? Or both? -
IPhone 5 shuts down even when it's on the charger
My iPhone 5 keeps shutting down even when it has full battery. It doesn't last more than 2 minutes on and that's when I am able to turn it on. When I connect it to the charger sometimes it just flashes the apple continuously. I noticed that when it's on sometimes it doesn't connect to the Wi-Fi and I have no signal it just says searching. It just started doing all this 3 days ago, befire that it worked perfectly fine. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it?

Do you use original OS that you got with your notebook?
Have you installed some additional software that can be reason for this unexpected shutdown?
Is your notebook on AC power supply when this happen?
Does some application runs when this happen (download)?

I have a iPhone 4 and lately it has been shutting down randomly when I still have battery left. It also doesn't turn back on, until I plug it in to the charger. But when I plug it in, the low battery sign shows up then comes to the lock screen with like 68% left.

Windows 7 shuts down unexpectedly when I close my lid
I recently installed Windows 7 Professional x86, and recently when I close my lid my computer instead of going to sleep, which is what the power setting is set to, it shuts down. When I open my computer, I have to turn my computer on and when Windows loads, I get the 'Windows shut down unexpectedly' window. Has anyone heard of this happening or has had it happen to them or knows how to fix it?
Didn't find anything in the Action Center. But did find similar events that match the times in the Event View that said the following:
'The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error
could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power
unexpectedly.'
They all has the source as being Kernel-Power, Event ID of 41, and Task Category of (63). Searched Microsoft's website and it didn't return any results. Despite this, it hasn't happened since I originally posted this. Hopefully it doesn't start doing it again. Although one thing I remember it saying on the 'Windows has experienced an unexpected shutdown' window was something about a blue screen. But I never saw one. And I don't know what would even cause this to happen cause I never had this problem when I had Windows XP Pro on my Mac. -

MBP shuts down unexpectedly when on battery
Today my MBP shuts down unexpectedly when on battery. It started at about 50%. I seems to happen if I don't a thing for a short while when I read something or so. I most of the time when using mu MBP have it on the net cord but today I wanted to work the battery.
Does anyone know what it could be? I have searched in the forum but the answers hasn't been satisfying. I find it weird that I have to use the keyboard or the track pad to keep going.Not sure what the cause is but you can try resetting the SMC.
