Having problems launching iTunes on my pc. Had iTunes on this particular pc for over a year. Have downloaded all of the new updated versions. Now I get an error message saying "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall." I have backed up the pc to an earlier date when when the program was working, and also performed serveral system diagnosis all saying the program is incompatible. Searched for several compatible programs, none worked. All this happened several days after visiting iTunes. I'm afraid that if I reinstall iTunes that I will loose everything and have to start all over. Eventhough everything is saved in an iCloud account and this particular pc. Never had a problem till now. Appreciate any help. Thank you, cld

Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Can you launch your iTunes now?

Check out the article below on troubleshooting iTunes start up issues. You may need to start up in Safe Mode or even remove iTunes and its associated software and reinstall iTunes.

Why do I get error message that iTunes could not copy x song while syncing

This is not a Touch issue per se, but once in awhile while syncing up on an XP computer, iTunes will give me the error message that it was not able to copy certain songs to the Touch because the orginal could not be found. Funny thing is, when that happens, I don't actually lose the song, but it shows up twice in my library, with an exclamation point next to one of them.
Why does this happen, and is there anything that can be done to prevent it? It has happened on songs I have purchased, as well as CD's I have imported. For the CD songs, I re-imported, and those songs no longer showed up in the list of songs where the orignal could not be found. I just find it strange.

AAPL is correct in that it was a duplicate. I deleted the dup (with the exclamation point next to it) and I still have the other song in my library.
I don't believe I ever moved anything, so I'm still not sure why the original song remains and when syncing a duplicate appears with the error message. This has also happened on a music video I bought just days ago. But, whatever, as long as I didn't lose anything no big deal.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I am not that computer literate. I want to know why i can't get my audible books onto my iTunes. I get an error message that says iTunes was inccorectly loaded and i should reload it. Was always working and today I get a message that it can not connect to the internet. Internet Exployer works fine. So, I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalled. Still did not work. check out the proxy and firewall no problems there.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

I recently got a new iPhone 6 Plus to replace my 5S. I randomly get an error, "Cable or Accessory not certified" - straight out the box. However, nothing is plugged into the device! I then updated the 5S to iOS 8.0.2 - it now gets the same error. I have two iPad mini's and an iPad - all on 8.x, all use the same twelve south dock and cable to charge. Tried hard reset/restore from backup - absolutely nothing inside the lightning connection.
I've mentioned this to others, and all iOS 8 users I've spoken to have seen this, and they click 'dismiss', and think nothing of it. This smells of a software problem....
Anyone else experiencing this? Any root cause analysis done? I've tried disabling Bluetooth, but it still comes back...
