I plug in my Ipod but it doesn't come up in Itunes like it did before. It always came up under Genres, etc. I don't know what to do. There is an Icon on the top Right of the screen and when I click on it the information on my Ipod comes up. I can't do anything w/it after that. I would appreciate any help at all. Thanks to any and all.
Make iTunes 11 look and function more like iTunes 10:
From the upper left corner, choose “Show Menu bar”
From the “View” menu, choose, “Show Sidebar”
Now your iPod device shows up as is did before.

Lately my iPod touch 4G has not been receiving photos from my wife through IMessage, when the photo is received I can see it for less than half a second, then it disappears. If I restart my iPod sete it shows up as unknown and a question mark, instead of the actual photo. I have tried reseting my iPod all the setting including network, and have tried turning off the iMessage and back on again. Other than that I don't know what else I can do, so please get back to me as soon as possible I would appreciate it.

I got a new laptop and installed iTunes and plugged in my iPod but it won't get recognized on iTunes or in my computer, the computer says unknown device found and that the software was not successfully installed. Overdrive media are not iTunes purchases so they do not transfer with:

Overdive media are copy protected so you can only read them via Overdrive. I do not understand what you mean by free books and are now paid. Overdrive are typically books for a public library.
You can try looking on your iPod via a third-party program like PhoneView, Touch copy or the free program iFunBox -

You need to select your iPod in iTunes. The command (from the menu bar?) is disabled because you have not selected a device for which the command is applicable.
The latest iTunes may hide the sidebar. To show the sidebar, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, find and select the iPod under DEVICES.
Once the iPod is selected, you can select the Sync command under File -> Devices in the menu bar. You can also just click the Sync button at the bottom left corner of the iTunes window (when the iPod is selected). -
I noticed a couple of days ago that my url bar on my imac was no longer there,I am new to the apple community and I am not sure how to progress with my qustion. I have tried selecting :- view / customise toolbar but the dropdown box which has various options to drag and drop does not show the address bar I am stuck can you help
