Itunes unhappy, Match issues! I think it is because I have used two accounts on different emails. Can I pull the two together to make just one account?

Open Accounts preferences in System Preferences. Click on the lock icon and authenticate. Under the user list click on the Add [-] button button to create a new user account for yourself or your father (whoever is not the existing account owner.) Configure the account with a separate username and password.
Now each of you should have a separate account on the computer. You can each sync your iDevices into completely separate accounts using completely different Apple IDs.

I don't think so. The only other ID I have is a developer id, and I didn't get that until several months after I got the phone. In addition purchases I made from the App Store onthe phone would sync up with It unes on the Mac meaning it would be the same id.
However I looked at the AppStore on my phone while it was connected to the Mac with iTunes open, and now the balance has changed to the same as the others.

Apple has no provisions for this. You cannot merge multiple Apple ID's into one ID. Content is always tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase it.

Such as, Slash's new album. Track 1 is "Slash Feat. Ian Astbury", track 2 is "Slash Feat. Ozzy Osbourne" and so on.
To fix this, select all the tracks on that album, right-click > Get Info, and say YES to changing multiple items.
Put "Slash" in the *Album Artist* field (for this example, of course).
Make sure it is the *Album Artist* field, not the plain Artist field.

Well I am having the same issue and I had not had to worry about getting a "licensed charger." The poster who responded offered not real insite and was rude to boot. I am also looking for the fix on this . My iphone will not even charge now on any charger. What the heck. Also, this is my first foray into online chat rooms so I have a lot to learn to precisely state my issue! I did as you suggested and all the songs list the same album when I go into each song's "get info". However, I am not sure how to edit as you suggested. When I downloaded this album originally, for some reason it broke up into several albums each with different songs from the original album. I am trying to consolidate them back into one album in my library. I would greatly appreciate further assistance if you can. Also, I do not use "the cloud" to store any data and would like a good source of info on how to do this. Thanks so much for your patience!

IMac G3 Panther, Why do I have three hard drives on my desk top and how do I combine them into one?

Trying to get an old iMac up to be enough for my four year old to go on the internet. Upgraded to panther and put an airport card in. Now problems;
1. It can connect to my airport express, but not if I have the password enabled, then it won't, even if I put the password in.
2. There are 3 hard drives showing on the desk top, with the space divided between them.
3. I've been trying to download an old version of flash, but it never finishes and says it can't write the file or something like that. I kind of think it has to do with the file being to large and since the hard drive is divided, it won't fit.

Your old iMac can only connect to a WEP network, and yours is probably WPA. As far as the partitions are concerned, if you don't need any any of the data on it, use your Panther disc and erase and fomat it as one partition.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you have two separate iTunes Libraries but would like to add the music from one to the other to have one consolidated library.
If you know where the files are for each library, I recommend opening one iTunes Library in iTunes and importing the files from the other library using the following steps:
Open iTunes
From the File menu, choose one of the following choices:
MacAdd to Library
Windows
Add File to Library
Add Folder to Library
Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add

Next, you can search for duplicates:
Choose View > Show Duplicate Items to show duplicate items (matches are based on the song name and artist). If you have multiple versions of the same song (for example, live and studio versions, or versions from different albums) you can hold the Alt or Option key (for Mac OS X) or the Shift key (for Windows) and choose View > Show Exact Duplicate Items. This will show only duplicate songs having the same name, artist, and album.
