TS1717 iTunes broken since update. Any ideas?

Since the update, not only can I not access the iTunes store (It begins to load, but crashes within seconds, freezing my whole computer), but my library is messing up too. I can't skip ahead on videos, and some won't even load at all. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes, but it has done nothing at all. Any help or fixes would be much appreciated.

Rotation lock is now a software function on the taskbar in 4.2 and the button now mutes notifications e.g. so that you can watch videos or listen to music without hearing email notifications etc.
Rotation lock : double-click the home button, slide from the left, and its the button far right; press home again to exit the taskbar; repeat to switch off rotation lock.

I have a AMD 6 core @ 2.8 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and a Geforce GT 640 with HDCP support, but still cannot play 1080p HD videos from iTunes. Anyone got any ideas?
According to the hardware requirements, my system well exceeds them, but no joy!

UPDATE: I backed up my phone, wiped it (Settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase All Content and Settings), & then restored it through iTunes. For whatever reason, that seems to have fixed the problem. Movies now sync to my phone like they used to.
That process seems to have corrected 1 or 2 other minor issues, including one where iTunes was 'syncing artwork' for a long time on every sync.

I have tried to upgade to the latest version of i tunes and am unable to do so so. The problem being that i have lost the installation source for apple software update any ideas of how to get this back ?

Could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing, please?
Try going to the Store. Hold down the Alt key and hit the PrtSc key. Paste the screenshot into an image file (using a program like Paint), and save the file.
Start a reply here and click the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window. Click "Choose file", browse to the image file, select the file and click "Open". Now click "Insert file" to insert the screenshot into the reply.

The Duplicates function is still available, it's just been moved. It is now listed as "Show Duplicate Items" under the View menu.

Im trying to install a new application on my mac but it keeps on coming up with 'The volume of this disk does not meet the requirements for this update' any ideas how to solve this?

I have recently fully updated my mac to 10.8.2 and i am trying to install a small facebook application but every time i come to chose the disk it says ' OS X facebook developer preview can not be installed on this disk. That may be the new Mountain Lion "sandbox" protective software kicking in, possibly, because ML "thinks" that App doesn't meet ML's new strict security requirements. A common phenomena. If you feel the 3rd party App is really OK, you can override this feature and install the new App by holding down the Command key when you click to install the new App. That's one possibility for the error message appearing. If not, another possibility is that that Developer Preview software package requires some previous piece of software be installed prior to downloading this Preview. You would have to check the Facebbok websiste's Developer Forums for help if this is the case.

I'm having the same problem. I just bought an album from my iPhone and when I select "Transfer purchases", I get the same message.
