TS1717 why won't my phone pair with my pc?

I'm trying to pair my iphone5 with my pc and I keep getting a message that says device driver cant be found. What do I need to do?

Bluetooth?
This has nevere been a feature of iphone/ipod/ipad
It supports stereo speakers/headsets, handsfree telephone devices, some keyboards, some apps from the pp store, and internet tethering where provided by the carrier
Other than above, it does not connect to other phones or computers.

Did you disable this option? Look in System Preferences/Security and Privacy/Advanced. Make sure there's no checkmark in the box that says to disable the remote control receiver.

My iPhone 5 will not pair with my 2007 BMW 535 XI. My 4 paired just fine. My blackberry pairs well. When I bring up the pairing screen it shows lnothing but locals talking about boring stuff. I have tried multiple attempts but the phone reverts back as soon as hit the 4 th digit in the code string. Is there something Tim not doing?

If you have the same app on both the phone and the iPad then you might be able to directly transfer them. Otherwise you could email them or copy them to your computer from the phone, and then sync them to the iPad (syncing photos).

Why won't new nano pair with BMW?

I just bought the new nano. I like everything about it but am disappointed about the inability to pair it with the bluetooth in my 2008 BMW 328i.
According to bmwusa.com, my vin # has the latest bluetooth that BMW offers. I'd think that would mean it would pair, but it will not.
Caveats:
1.) I have meticulously followed the BMW instructions on bluetooth pairing.
2.) I can pair my iPhone 4s in this vehicle
3.) I tried deleting the 4s and power cycling both the car and the nano. But I still could not not pair the nano.
Anyone out there know how to solve this?

Thank you deggie. I did not know about A2DP or, for that matter, that there was a distinct stereo flavor of bluetooth which the nano needs
Do you by chance know if a car's bluetooth can be upgraded to A2DP?
Btw, I checked with my BMW dealer and they couldn't really help. Their only feedback was that my 2008 vehicle has the latest-and-greatest bluetooth offered by BMW and that their 2012 models have no capabilities beyond that of my 2008.

To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps first
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you have registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you have selected iMessage for use. Learn more about troubleshooting iMessage registration if the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. Learn more about troubleshootingcellular data or a Wi-Fi connection if a data connection isn't available.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn more about which network your phone supports. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while on a call if your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls.
Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.

Why won't my phone back up since I just bought additional iCloud storage--- it spends hours showing "Backup in Progress" and then it just fails?! I have it plugged in next to the computer and I turn it off after hitting Backup but it never completes.... Should I just give up and try to get my money back?

I'm having the same problem with my iPad (3). It's been saying that my last backup was 10/11/2012. I have tried rebooting (holding down the home and start keys to reset) and then trying to manually do a backup to the cloud. I have tried deleting the iCloud backups for all apps & setting all of them to not be included in the cloud backup (thinking that maybe one of the apps might be hanging the backup up). I have now deleted the last iCloud backup. I guess I will wait & see if it performs its backup overnight or something. As mentioned above, it has consistently been 1) plugged in, 2) connected to a wifi network, and 3) been in lock screen mode. And yet it hasn't been backing up either automatically (iCloud Backup is set to "on") or if I touch 'Back Up Now'.
Here's something that's really annoying- these posts started last April but I see no sign that anyone from Apple Support has joined this conversation. (!!)

Have you just upgraded, or purchased a new computer with Windows 8, and now you can’t get your printer to work? If so, this may help you. A lot of people have questions about installing their printer on a new OS. This will help you answer those questions and make sure that you get everything installed.
Before You Start
Before you try to install the printer on a Windows 8 computer, you should check to make sure the printer is compatible with the new OS. The link below will give you a list of the printers that will work in Windows 8.

If you have upgraded your computer to Windows 8 form another version of Windows, make sure to completely uninstall all of the software for your printer. It should still print, but to use all the functions you will need to reinstall the software, if it’s available.
Another thing to consider is how you want to connect the printer to the computer.
USB. You should make sure that you have a USB cable that is no longer than 6 ft. (roughly 2m). Make sure to connect the printer directly to the computer. Do not use a USB hub.
Ethernet cable. Make sure you have the network setup, that you have a free cable port on the router, and that you have an Ethernet cable available.
Wireless. You should make sure that you have the wireless network setup, and that you have the password for the wireless network.
1.     Installing Via USB
Installing via USB in Windows 8 has become much simpler for HP printer users. In other versions of the Windows OS you had to start the installation and wait for it to ask you for the USB connection. If you didn’t, you would have to uninstall the printer from the Printers/Devices folder, and then start the install. In Windows 8, that will not be a problem. Alternate Install Methods
With Windows 8, many printers’ drivers are installed with the OS. These are known as InOS drivers, since they come built into the operating system. If you have one of those printers, all you should have to do is connect it to the computer via USB, or connect it to the network via Ethernet or wireless. Once you have that done Windows will handle the rest. There are alternate methods of installing your printer if the normal methods are not working for some reason. You can install the printer either using the Printer Install Wizard, or through Windows Updates.

Ok, so sometimes apple's servers may crash, temporarily. Just check the following site: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
and it will notify you of any crashes. The link above is for the UK. Change to adapt to your country if you are outside of the UK. If your problem isn't listed I am sure it will be resolved within 24 hours. If this problem persists best thing is to contact apple.

Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on both devices and set them up again.
