TS1741 I have loaded my music library ti iTunes on my home PC. How can I access my music on my iPad air, both on my home wifi network and any other when I am travelling? Thanks.
How can I access my iTunes music library using my iPad air, both in my home wifi environment and away from home? Music loaded onto iTunes on my home windows PC. Thanks
Start iTunes on the computer and connect your iPad to your computer. Select your iPad in iTunes on your computer then select the Music tab in the main window. You can choose to sync all music to your iPad or select only those playlists you want on the iPad. When you click on .sync or Apply the selected music will be copied to your iPad.
You can sun photos this way also.

How can I access my music library from a laptop on the road, as if my PC is not active? I tunes is installed on both PC and Home Sharing is enabled on both devices.
The key constraint for Home Sharing in this context is that both PCs need to be on the same wifi network. So once you get out of range of the wifi network covering your home PC, the laptop is not going to be able to Home Share.
Have you considered importing your iTunes music to the laptop? Then you could listen to a local copy of the music on the laptop while you're on the road. (You can do the import via home sharing when both computers are on the same wifi network.) -
My wife has an I Tunes account on our PC, I have an I tune account on my Mac Book Pro. How can I get the music from her account on the PC to my account on the Mac Book and I phone?

I need help to delete my icloud account from my iPad. It has "Find my iPad" on it and won't let me delete without the old password. I don't want to reset password as it will require reset of Mac Book Pro and 2 iphones. Help appreciated.
Your description of the problem is a bit confusing. Do you have ONLY ONE Apple ID or do you have MORE THAN ONE? -
How can I access my music in the iCloud?
how can i access my music from my itunes on my Mac, on my Mc book pro?
There isn't currently any iCloud music streaming, if that what you mean.
iTunes Match will be coming, probably late October, early November. That will provide streaming.
If your just talking about music you bought on, say, your iPhone and want it to appear on your Mac, go into iTunes preferences (on your Mac), click the "Store" icon and make sure that Automatic Downloads are turned on. That will keep your Mac iTunes library up to date when you buy on your iDevice.
If you've got older stuff that you need to download, you can go into your Purchased section in iTunes and click on "Download Previous Purchases" which should show you everything you've bought. You can re-download from there. -
I have some magazines subscription on my iphone5S, how can I access the same in my ipad under the same Apple ID?
Well, if it's that annoying to you, I'd go to the nearest apple store, but before you do, you should make reservation to see the genius there. I'm sure they will help you. Just show them where the stuck pixel(s) are.
But honestly, though I don't want to be a downer here, but even if you get it replaced, the possibility that you might get more stuck pixels when you get a new one. But of course, you can also be lucky that you can get a perfect one too. Usually stuck pixels should fix it self (not all the time tho). -
I want to access my itunes account on my parents computer. It already has another itunes account on it. I no longer have the original computer that my itunes account was on. How do I access my itunes now in these circumstances?
I can try, but I don't understand your problem.
What device are you using?
Do they have a Mac or a PC?
Do they have devices they are using?
What do you want to access? Do you want to sync that information you access? -
I have just acquired an iMac desktop (about 4 years old). I want to connect to my Apple airport wireless network, but cannot remember the password. How can I access the password or, if necessary, reset it. I already use a MacBook Pro and an iPad on the network and don't want to jeopardize what already works well. I am not all that computer literate.
How can I access the password or, if necessary, reset it.
Read the user manual that came w/your Airport router or you can cross-post in one of the AirPort Forums for instructions. -
My neighbour's Mac Book Pro shows up as discoverable in my Bluetooth list on my iPad Air. How can I block her Bluetooth device? How can I prevent her pairing with my device? I need Bluetooth to stream music on my Bose system. Thanks!
If your device is discoverable, the other BT device would try (I am not sure if that would be successful). If it was, it would appear in your system preferences>Bluetooth.
Take a look at this re: security:
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH10786
This is from another Apple article:
Use Bluetooth
You can wirelessly transfer files between computers—even Mac to PC—using the Bluetooth File Exchange utility. You can even browse selected devices and retrieve files remotely. For extra security, you can stipulate that only trusted devices be allowed to connect to your Mac, and 128-bit over-the-air encryption is also available
Barry
P.S. Since I have not had the issue, I have not researched this before. Thank you for making me look into BT security

Hi everyone ~
I have apps in my library in my iTunes account for my computer, and I was wondering if I could add all of the space needed up and get the total of the amount of space all of the apps would take up if I put all of them on my iPod (which I probably won't as I have at least 20). If I can do this, please leave directions in an understandable manner in your post for me to use. Thank you!
(Links are always appreciated, too.)No. Frequently the apps take up more storage space on the iPod that the file download size.

I am missing some music on my computer and Iphone. I do have the music on my ipod classic. How do I transfer the music from my ipod to my computer?
If it's music purchased from iTunes then connect the iPod to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, or you may be able to redownload it on your computer's iTunes via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage (whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you are in, and whether it's still in your store).
For music from other source (e.g. copied from sources), then if you don't have a copy of it anywhere (e.g. on an external drive) then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 -

Can I successfully download from my phone to my new computer???????? This is a very annoying problem and I need it solved. My battery is always run down.
If iPhone music is not on iTunes Library, you need a 3rd party tool to help you

I backed up iPhone 4s to my iCloud. How can I access the music that was backed up?
I backed up my old iPhone 4s to my iCloud. This included 90 songs I would like to copy to my new iPhone 5s.
How can I do that without erasing or damaging or changing anything that is now installed on my new iPhone 5s?
These songs were mp3 songs that were copied to iTunes 3 years ago, not music bought from I-store.
They have been playing well on the 4s for years.Your backup doesn't include music other than music purchased from the iTunes store. (You also can't selectively restore data from a backup; it's all or nothing.)
The other music should be in your iTunes library and can be synced to your 5s from there. -
i have no idea on how reset the icloud account since i no longer have access to email that i used in it. even when i try to factory restore the ipad it will ask me for the pw of my previous apple id not the one that i am currently using in the apps store and the other services.
Plus the system is asking every 15 seconds to log in into the icloud, so basically i cannot use my ipad for anything other than spotify. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must use the previous Apple ID and password to unlock the device. If you do not know the password you might be able to recover it at this link:
https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid
This normally will require that info is sent to the primary email address associated with the Apple ID. If you have an alternate email address assigned to that Apple ID you might get the password via the alternate email address. -

eyeYou need iTunes 11.1 or later
See
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause
