What do you mean by connect?
You either use airplay in conjunction with compatible apps or you can mirror using an iPad 2 (or later) to display content from the device to the ATV

if you purchased the phone second hand, you need to contact the previous owner and have them enter their apple id & password,
once the phone is activated then go to settings> iCloud & turn off find my iPhone > then sign out of iCloud > erase all contents & settings
on setup then you won't be asked for the apple id or password, if its your apple id , and you have forgot the password you can visit applied.apple.com to reset your password, if you have renamed the apple id to something different , it will have to changed back to the one the phone is linked to
you can alternatively call apple support if you have the original receipt for the phone & they can remove the lock

1. Turn off Find My iPhone
2. Erase device

I Need activate an iPad 2 bought second hand , but I don't remember the Apple ID , only the password and i could reset only the password on apple website, but it didn't give me the apple ID which the iPad is linked. What should I do? Thanks for any help.

The iPad should have provided part of the Apple ID. If the ID was yours you should be able to remember it since the email address used by the Apple ID was yours. But if you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for the previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

You should continue to use your Apple ID for your iTunes account whatever you do in terms of iCloud syncing and mobile me.
If you would like to use the Apple ID you use for iTunes for iCloud syncing. just create an iCloud account using that Apple ID. If you do this you will need to add an iCloud mail address which can't be your mobile me address as that is already taken.
If you want to create another Apple ID for use with iCloud so that you keep your @me address from your mobile me account you can do that by migrating from mobile me to iCloud, you can do that too, your Apple ID for iCloud will then be your @me address.
If you migrate your calendars and contacts will also be migrated and continue to work in iCloud. If you create an iCloud account using the Apple ID you use for iTunes you will be given the oportunity to merge your calendars and contacts.
Whichever you choose, it would be agood idea to export your calendars and contacts for back up purposes before doing anything.

Settings>Store. Tap on your Apple ID, sign out and then resign in with the correct Apple ID.

I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.
Also using IPad 2 I am able to get the ITunes to accept the user name and same password as the Mac.
However, the only way I can see the 'Home sharing; icon is in Music on the Ipad. When I tap on the Icon it asks for a password.
When I give the same password, it is rejected.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

Hi it's me Chainnig again the guy that kept asking question last night alright so my next question is how do you change an Apple ID on and Ipad I went to and apple iPad help site that said it would change my Apple ID me and my mom currnet Apple ID which is the name of someone who lives with us so I tried to change mine but it wouldn't let me and then I tried to change it. It still wouldn't let me and then I changed it I know thats stupid I did this because I don't know anyone by the name norm but what should I change it to and how should I change it I don't want to change my moms Apple ID just mine.

thanks man i found that site you told me about but it says on there right now your Apple ID has b en created before you can use it we need to make sure that my new id name belongs to you check your email and look for a verification email from apple click on the verify now link and sign in with your new apple id and password so what I did was go in to my email using my old id and password but there was no email there so I did with the new ones and nothing happened I am reely confused right now this stuff is pretty foorgion to me and my mom and my dads out of town so he can't help when I click on my profile on this site it comes up with my new id can you pm me back as soon as possible and explain what this means thanks.

Visited links using Safari on my iPad 2 won't stay the "visited" color after I close the tab, put the iPad in sleep mode (or whatever it's called), or when I power off the iPad.
There are certain sites I visit where it comes in very handy to be able to see which links I've already clicked on. The links will stay the "visited" color during the time I'm on the site, but later they all go back to the "unvisited" color.
Is there any way I can fix this on an iPad?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I downloaded your "test.pdf" file. First I tested it on a Mac in Acrobat and the links worked fine.
Then I transferred it to my iPad and opened it in Reader 10.3. The links worked fine. When I clicked OK to the message I quoted above, they took me to the site in Safari browser.
It could be that you need to reset your iPad. Hold down the Home button and Sleep/Wake button at the same time. Hold then thru the message about turning it off, until you see the Apple logo. Then let go.

What if you link a game on to iPad and the delete on original iPad

I linked a game on my iPad to my brothers iPad and I wonders if I deleted the tame on my iPad would the data get deleted on his iPad after I linked it

Game and app data is associated with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the app and therefore, when you backup the app or game, that data is associated with that Apple ID. If you delete it on the device where it is backed up, then the game data is gone as well.
