TS1741 my ipad all of the sudden stopped charging

My Ipad all of the sudden stopped charging. It wont even charge or be recognized from my laptop on itunes. Please help. Is my battery dead?

Three possibilities - bad cable, charger or the iPad/battery. Since iPad not recognized, I suspect the cable. Make sure the cable is fully connected.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

if by camera you are referring to iSight, here is how to troubleshoot:
Built-in iSight cameras
These steps are for iSight cameras that are built into a computer, such as the iMac G5 (iSight) or later, the MacBook, or MacBook Pro.
See if the issue is application-specific.
Try another application (iSight works with applications like iChat, PhotoBooth, and iMovie HD 6) to see if the iSight camera exhibits the same behavior in all applications. If it only happens in one application, try reinstalling that application.
See if the issue is user-specific.
Test your iSight camera in another user account. If the issue only occurs in one user, the issue would be isolated to user settings.
Find out if the computer recognizes the iSight
Check System Profiler (in the Utilities folder, inside the Applications folder). Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected.
Reset SMC or PMU
Reset your computer's SMC or PMU, and then check System Profiler again. (SMC reset instructions for iMac G5 (iSight), Intel-based iMacs; PMU reset instructions for MacBook and MacBook Pro.)

Turn the computer and the camera off.
Unplug the FireWire cable from your computer and the camera.
Wait a few seconds.
Firmly, without forcing, plug the cable back in to the camera and the computer.
Caution: FireWire ports are keyed so the FireWire cable can only be inserted one way. Make sure you are inserting the FireWire cable into the FireWire port in the correct orientation.
Restart your computer.
If the green light on top of the iSight is not lit, turn on the camera by gently twisting the lens.
Launch iChat AV.
See if a different FireWire port works.
Some Macs have more than one FireWire port. If your computer has another FireWire port, disconnect the iSight camera from the current port and plug it into the other one. Restart your computer and test the camera before continuing to step three.

Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu.
Click More Info. System Profiler opens.
In the System Profiler window, click on the Devices and Volumes option.

also, try a diff VID format, AIRPLAY doesn’t support all VID formats (beamer does however).
I cant live without beamer, you can multitask on your Mac WHILE beaming high-def to your Apple TV, ….Airplay wont do that reliably.

iCloud automatically backs up the most important data on your device using iOS 5 or later. After you have enabled Backup on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in Settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage, it will run on a daily basis as long as your device is:
Connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi
Connected to a power source
Screen locked
You can also back up manually whenever your device is connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi by choosing Back Up Now from Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.

Desktop Software Stopped working all of the sudden..

All of the sudden I got a windows message saying "Blackberry Desktop Software has stopped working" (A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.) I un-installed and re-installed the program and the same thing continues to happen. I have no idea what's going on. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Can someone help me out?

It happens to me too just now. I just had my laptop upgraded. before, i have it installed successfully without any problems encountered. in fact I was able to use it early yesterday before i upgraded my laptop. just now, when im trying to install the pc software, while installig it, it just gives a notification that it stopped. but later will show that i have successfully installed. but once you click to open the icon, it shows "Blackberry Desktop Software has stopped working". same with you i uninstall reinstall for 4x now, but still it isnt working.I even though it might be with my net connection, but it is not. I tried all of the suggestions, sort of. I did not have alcohol wipes, but I did take alcohol and pour some ona white paper towel and then rolled the mouse touch ball aroound and that finally cleared up the problem. Just inverting it on paper did not do the reick, it needed some help with the alcohol. Of course the probelm is the debris that gets inside and it really needs to come out.
This is a huge problem for RIM devices users too.

Having the same issue.
iPad 1 updated to 5.0.1 was working fine. Suddenly will not recognize when it has a USB cable plugged into it. Almost as though the cable isn't even plugged in. I left it plugged in all day and it's charge increased by about only 5%
Tried different comptuers and the external power supply - same results. The iPad doesn't even recognize the cable is plugged in.. no lightning bolt symbol or anything.

I can't use the (sort by )feature, or open the emages to watch this item - I used to be able to do this with firefox and all of the sudden it stopped working

try this.
get back into your router's settings and start deleting devices that are not connected to your router.
you can also delete the ones that are connected - they'll connect again.
on the DHCP side of it, increase the amount of users that can connect/log in to your router.
see if that sorts it out for you.

I was downloading music to my iTunes account and playing music from my I tunes library when all of the sudden it stopped playing and the control panel won't let me restart the music.....why

The I tunes equalizer / player box with timer shows the song ready to play but the controls won't restart the song.......why not, and how to I get it to restart playing my library?

- You need to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod and start anew. Is the restore button visable in iTunes? If it is they restore the iPod.
- If it is not visible try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Have you tried to reboot your iPad? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try agian.
Also, try power cycling your router. Meaning, unplug it, count to 10, then plug it back in. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
