No.  purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them.  Delete them and buy your own copies.

My laptop was stolen. How do I sync my old iphone to a new computer without losing my purchases (music & apps)?

One of the reasons to include your iTunes library with your computer's backup along with all other important data that is kept separate from your laptop - not carried in the same case, etc.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iDevice, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
First you need to authorize your new computer with your iTunes account with iTunes. With your iPhone connected and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
If you are in the US, you can do this now as well.

  • How can i update my old .cp to the new format for Cap7?

I have over 30 projects that were created with Captivate 4, throught a series of unfortunate events (my system crashed)  i lost my old Captivate 4 program.  My company just installed the new Captivate 7 on my computer and i cannot access the old projects because of the file extension.
I understand that i need to save them to the new extensions but don't know how to do that.  Is it possible to download a free trial of Captivate 6 resave my old projects to the new extensions?
I really don't want to have to redo all of these projects.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope someone of Adobe staff will pop in, because you'll need to have 5 or 5.5 to convert the cp-files to cptx.
Even when that is done, expect to have upgrade problems: AS2 was still supported on CP4, but not in later versions. Question slides can cause quite a lot of issues as well. Sometimes it is quicker to reuse the assets and create from scratch in CP7.

  • Can I put the SIM of an old iPhone into a new iPhone, no problems?

OK so my old iPhone was stolen, but the thief threw away the SIM (found it near the trash).
Instead of buying a new one at the non-contract price of $700, I opened a second line on my account and bought a new iPhone.
Can I take my old SIM and put it in my new one so I can keep my same number??????

This is the second time you've asked the same question. The answer is still the same, no matter how many times you ask. Yes, you can put the old sim in your phone & your phone will work ONLY IF THE ACCOUNT ASSOCIATED WITH THAT SIM IS ACTIVE. If you canceled the account, it won't work. If you're trying to use the old sim and only maintain the second account, that won't work.
I.E. You need to maintain BOTH accounts to do what you want.

  • How do I update my iphoto library to a newer version

Today I upgraded my desk top Mac to the Maverick 10.9.5 operating system.    It appears to be installed correctly, however it has blocked out my iphoto library.   It says I can not use my current iphoto library version 9.2.1  with the new Maverick 10.9.5 system.     I went to icloud and it says I must update my iphoto library but when I press "update"  I am not shown any updates for the iphoto library.    How do I gain access to my old iphoto in this new operating system?   Is there a new version of iphoto that is compatible with Maverick 10.9.5?

Thanks for the info Larry I have now upgraded my iphoto library to the newer version, unfortunately I did not have my computer backed up before installing Maverick and the new photo library so now I can't view the majority of my pictures.   No particular pattern to what is or is not visible.  Some photos taken in 2011 are visible, others are not.   Same for images taken in 2014.   I should have known better because I've been thru this process of updating in the past, so I don't have anyone to blame but myself.   Apparently the images are still on my computer because the info button in iphoto shows the count as including them.   I just can't view them.    Shame on me.

  • How can I get my old music into a new preexisting account?

how do I get my music from an old account to a new one (preexisting) because now i have a mac and new email and everything. please help

So you had a windows computer before?
See here for moving content options
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527
When the content is moved over if it has been purchased with the old ID than it will not play until you authorise the new machine with the old Apple ID
    Store > Authorise Computer.
This will not change buying content with the new iD going forwar it will just let you platy the old content as well as any new you might get.
If you are going to get rid of the old computer then it is a good idea to
    Store > Deauthorise this computer

  • How do i update my old MacBook to the latest version?

Hi! I have a really old MacBook from like 2008/2009 and I haven't used it for a long time, and now i need to update it because I can't download anything. Now i have mac os x 10.5.8 and I need the latest version. Please help me! How do I do?

Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion - System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) - Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table - RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • How do i copy my contact from my old iphone into my new phone

How do I copy my contact onto my new iphone?

    Hi ValandVic!
You can share the contact from one iPhone to another using this “Share Contact” feature built into your phone, you will be able to choose to share the contact via AirDrop, email, or through a message:
Contacts at a glance - iPhone
    http://help.apple.com/iphone/7/#/iph3e0ca2db
Share a contact. Tap a contact, then tap Share Contact. See AirDrop, iCloud, and other ways to share.
Alternatively, you can simply sign into your iCloud account and merge your contacts from both phones in order to combine Contacts databases. Thanks for coming to the Apple Support Communities!
    Cheers,
    Braden
