TS1814 I have purchased iPhone 3g device from my friend, I connected it to the iTunes to upgrade from 3.1 to 6.0 as many softwares were not being installed as iOS was not up to date. I upgraded but now I can not activate my device. What I should do now???

I upgraded but now I can not activate my device. What I should do now??? i am really feeling difficulty because i have been disconnected from the network.
I am from Pakistan.
The 3G cannot be updated to iOS6, it can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
Activation issues are generally the result of the device being hacked or jailbroken.

After upgrading to OS X Mavericks now I can't print, any idea what I should do?
i just upgraded my system to OS X Marvericks and now I can not print through our office network printer. Office printer is a Canon Image Runner Advance C5030 (Colored).
Anybody have any idea what to do? Need help.I installed the new 10.2.0 printer and it still doesn't work... I'm glad that I waited for the driver to be available before I upgraded... Big Fail on this one!

How to restore my itunes to 5.0.1???Well, welcome to the world of "hacked" phones. If your purchase was from the US, you obviously purchased an iPhone that is locked to a US carrier. The iPhone must have been jailbroken and unlocked via software to accommodate your foreign SIM card. Now that you have updated the phone, it is locked back to the US carrier. Only the carrier can authorize Apple to unlock the iPhone and none of the US carriers will unlock the iPhones. Best suggestion is to sell the phone and obtain a factory unlocked version directly from the Apple store.
To answer your other question, there is not a supported method to downgrade iOS. -

No. The warranty is only for the country that the device was purchased in. So for example, if you need service for your phone, you would need to have someone in the US submit the device (from a US mailing address). Or, someone to take the phone into an Apple Store for you.

You can't. If your phone is disabled, the data has already been erased...that's the whole point of the passcode. Your only option now is:

Then you should talk to that person. Apple won't help you if the iOS was downloaded illegally, and since this is their community, due to Terms of Use, no one here will help you either.

Thanks a lotSorry, but you purchased an iPhone from a country that has requested FaceTime be removed from all iPhones sold in that country. Apple has no choice but to comply with these government requests, hence FaceTime has been removed from your phone and there is no way to activate it, regardless of where the the phone is used. If you want FaceTime, you need to sell your phone & purchase an iPhone in India.

I have purchased IPhone 5S in Florida Mall when I was traveling to US from India.I bought this phone in unlocked condition. I started my phone when I came back in India. After few days (4-5 days) it started giving blue dump regularly. Then I have contacted Authorized service centre (Maple) in India (Maharashtra – New Mumbai) and then Maple checked with Apple and Apple said this phone is not under International Warranty. But when I purchased this phone form Apple Florida Mall ,I have been told by Zach McKenzie (Sales Person) that it has an international warranty and u can approach to any authorized centre in India for any issues. And that’s the reason I have bought this phone.
But now I am in big trouble so tell me how can u help me in this regards.Note this is a user forum hosted by Apple. You aren't talking to Apple here just other users.
Note that the iPhone warranty is NOT international and never has been. Your iPhone must be serviced in the country of purchase.

Only the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. Sounds like the phone was hacked to unlock it originally. Find out what carrier it is locked to, and look up their contact information using google or the search engine of your choice.

Jayant JoshiFacetime is permanentely disabled from all phones legitametely sold in KSA and UAE. You will not be able to get FT working even if you are out of the UAE. Contact the seller to see if they will accept the phone as a return. There is nothing anyone here can do. This is between you and the seller.
