TS1884 How to go out from safe boot

I want to leave safe boot

Restart the computer. If it boots into Safe Mode without being asked, restart again, and press the Option, Command, P, and R keys until you hear the second chime.

  • How does one do a Safe Boot?

My Hard Disk is balky, seems to overheat?
Dumb question: How does one do a "Safe Boot"
If I need to reinstall OS-X, how do I do that? I have Snow Leopard Install DVD, but I have since upgraded to Mountain Lion.
Please excuse my low level of computer knowledge. Thanks

    1. Restart with the Shift key held down.
    2. Back up your data, restart with the Command and R keys held down, and run the Installer.

  • How to reset and or safe boot ?

how to reset and or safe boot ?

    These are quite different things.
    To boot in Safe Mode.
Resetting, as you call it, is either doing a non-destructive reinstallation of OS X or erasing the drive and doing a clean install of OS X.

How to sign out from Yahoomail in Ipad?

How do you mean? the yahoo app? or accessing via safari? or using the mail app?
Using the mail app there is no way to sign out of mail accounts. The presumption is that the iPad is a single user device, so no need to sign out.

  • HT2534 How to sign out from icloud on the iphone?

I dont know how to sign out from my dad's icloud account on my iphone. It says delete account but im afraid it might delete all the files in my dad's account. So how do i sign out?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
All the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again. It will not be deleted from Any of your Dad's other devices or from his account.

  • TS4235 My sound isn't working because of 'Safe Boot'. How do I fix it? How do I turn off 'Safe Boot'. I need my sound to work again.

I loged off my computer and I need to go back on the my sound wasn't working. I need my sound to work again. In the top right coner when I log out in red says, 'Safe Boot'. Could someone please help me?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Restart and your Mac should start up in normal mode, so you can use speakers again.
If it doesn't work, reset the PRAM > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
If nothing works, open Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities) and type:
    sudo nvram -d boot-args
    Finally, restart your computer

  • How to get out of Safe Mode?

    Hi,
I started up in safe mode and was able to trouble shoot a peripheral problem. However, I still have a HD icon on my desktop. How do I get out of Safe mode? I did restart a couple of times but the icon continues to appear.
    Thanks!
    S

If you have rebooted, then you are no longer in safe mode. The HD icon is not an indicator of being in safe mode. If you don't want to see hard drive icons on the Desktop, you can set that preference in Finder -> Finder menu -> Preferences -> General.

  • 10.6.3 ran from install, not from power on boot, yes from safe boot

Installed 10.6.3 from retail disk to FW external HD. Migrated everything from 10.5.8 internal boot drive. 10.6.3 ran fine until I shut down overnight. Power up the following morning gave login screen, then blue screen. Rebooted to safe mode; is now running fine. Repaired permissions more than once. (Log shows exactly the same items found and "repaired.")
Would appreciate a systematic way to determine what's keeping the normal boot from completing.

Here's what I think verbose mode produced in the log. The first messages (11:17 to 11:19) seem to be one set; the others (12:06 to 12:10) may be from the Safe Boot.
    Thanks,

  • Why freezing (mini 2011) and how to get out from there without shutting down?

Still difficult to know why/what action/what behaviour, but why am I getting (at least once avery 4-5 hours of use, to be fair...), a hang/freeze (that kaleidoscope ball...) - sometimes with nothing special (it just happened as I was starting to write this message!...) ?
I hear people who are going for years (or at least they claim it) without a single freeze or crash wth their Mac (reason why I invested in one mini, and soon another one...).
Ok I would get it if I had 5 apps going on with 4GB of ram (still, depends which apps...). I get it with Photo Booth, I get it with Microsoft Office 2011 (a simple plain Word document), I get it surfing on Safari... So nothing very ''specific''.
And sometimes, it is the shut down that freezes.... I come up hours later or the day after and realize it had not completed shut down (still that rolling wheel on the white background).
I have all OS X (Lion) and other apps updates to date.
So, to which extent is it ''normal'' to get a crash (or is it a crash ? - when I cannot go further and there is no other way but to force shut down physically (Power button)? - And is there another way to get out from there on a Mac ? (Being a Windows user, my automatic reflex would be Ctrl+Alt+Del... when this works...)
    Thanks,
    Rob

You iPod encountered an error and has to be restored.
Maybe a data recovery company can help get the info back..

  • How do sign out from my email on the iPad. I need to sign out from the mailbox that is opening up., How do sign out from my email on the iPad. I need to sign out from the mailbox that is opening up.

How do I owing out from the mailbox that is opening on the iPad.  Use gmail account. Need to sign out. I even went to the apple id website n changed the email n the ID as we'll as he password there but to no use. It will opens the earlier provided email account.

Not entirely sure what you want to do.
If you wabt to sign out of account in the Mail app, then it doesn't have the concept of signing out, if the account is enabled on the iPad then it is effectively always 'open'. If you want to view a different account that you've set up on the iPad then you can do so via the button at the top left of the Inbox to go up levels to a folder selection and then to account selection.
If you want to hide the account then see this work-around : https://discussions.apple.com/message/13127632?messageID=13127632
If you want to sign out of your iTunes account then you can tap on it in Settings > Store

  • Hello .. how to log out from apple device wothout pc or pc with video steps

i want to log out from all Apple id on all apple device

    Hello there sarmad yasin,
It sounds like you are looking for a way to sign out of all your Apple devices in one go. While this is not a function currently avaiable, you can reset your Apple ID password to prevent access to your information:
Apple ID: Changing your password - Apple Support
Follow these steps to change your Apple ID password. If you can't remember your password, follow the steps for what to do if you forget your Apple ID password.
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com).
Click “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you're unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
    Click "Password and Security".
In the "Choose a new password" section, click Change Password.
Enter your old password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Click Save when done.
The next time you use an Apple feature or service that uses Apple ID, you'll be asked to sign in with your new Apple ID password.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Sterling
