TS2313 My podcasts will no longer download.

There is an exclimation mark to the left of the title of a new podcast and on the far right side shows the icloud icon.  What do I need to do to start downloading my podcasts again?
Hard drive space is not an issue.

Hey there britchz,
It sounds like your podcats are not downloading automatically anymore.
This article will explain a bit more about what that exclamation point.
iTunes: Exclamation point appears next to podcast
http://support.apple.com/kb/TA23353
There is a problem downloading the podcast. You can click on the exclamation point to learn more information.
You've subscribed to a podcast but have more than five unplayed episodes. iTunes will stop automatically downloading newer episodes. You may get the following message:iTunes has stopped updating this podcast because you have not listened to any episodes recently. Would you like to resume updating this podcast? You can click Yes to continue downloading additional episodes. Or you can just listen to any part of any episode and a new episode will download at the next update.
All the very best,
Sterling

I updated to the new ios and now podcasts will no longer update via wireless. they will download to about 99% then say there's an error. I'm having way more problems with everything now that i updated.  it's very frusterating. does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening? i have enough free space for the downloads.

Restart your iPad, then try it. Do a restart by holding the HOME and ON/OFF buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
I always have iTunes download all of the podcasts in the background, and when I sync my iPad, it grabs all of the new podcasts

  • Podcast will no longer download

A podcast I've subscribed to for years will no longer download because of a permissions issue.  This happened after I purchased new iMac.  I made sure the computer was authorized.  And tried unsubscribing and resubscribing.  The same thing has happened with a few apps that I have purchased on my iPad.

I'm having this exact same problem. Here's how it happened for me:
I was in my house about to leave waiting for someone, and it dawned on me to download some new or recent episodes of a podcast. I went into the Podcast app and started them, and then locked my device thinking that the episodes would be downloading. Little did I know they weren't on my wifi for some reason. I found this out when the person I was waiting for was ready to leave so we could go somewhere and I unlocked my phone in the car. At that point I switched over to LTE and the oldest of these 3 episodes I wanted to download started downloading and was completed in seconds. When it got to the other 2 remaining episodes, they both just had the status of "Preparing to download..." With the loading wheel that tells you how much has been downloaded at 0%. Still right now it's like this. Could this just be an issue with LTE, the podcast, or any of iTunes podcasts as a whole?

  • ITunes will no longer download. It says it has not been correctly localized for this language, and to run the English version. How do I do that?

My iTunes will no longer download.
All of a sudden I get the message "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version".
How do I fix this and run the English version again? .

Start by trying to repair iTunes from the programs and features control panel.
Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • My podcasts will no longer sync with my ipod classic. Also when I tried to sync in itunes, the category "podcast" disappeared under my ipod listed in itunes.

My podcasts will no longer sync with my ipod classic. Also when I tried to sync in itunes, the category "podcast" disappeared under my ipod listed in itunes.

Are you sure your iPod Classic is configured to sync podcasts to your device?  You'll want to double check by taking a quick look at your iPod's Podcast configuration tab in iTunes.
To access this tab, plug your iPod in and click on it from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes when it appears to bring yourself to the iPod's Summary tab. Now locate the Podcasts tab and select it.  Under this tab you can configure how and what podcasts are synced to your device. If you make any changes, be sure to click theApply button in the lower right hand corner.

    Hi ..
There's an alternative. You can use the pre installed Image Capture app located in your Applications folder to import photos to your Mac.

  • 'Unplug' will no longer download.

'Unplug' will no longer download. It gives you the box of what you want to download, but when you click on 'download' nothing happens.
2nd question: ant video downloader - I have been using that as an alternative, and have just discovered that many of the clips I have downloaded will not play! The problem is with flv files - some simply won't run, and some say 'VLC does not support the audio and video format .undf.'
Please advise if unplug can be fixed, and if the other files are retrievable in any sense, or if there is an alternative downloader that will work correctly.

Upgrading to a more recent version (from 2.054 to 2.055beta) fixed this problem for me:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/unplug/versions/
Note that even with the fix, nothing shows up in "downloads" - the file just turns up at some point.

  • Lightroom will no longer download my cr2 files.

For some reason Lightroom 5 will no longer download my CR2 files, it says it cannot read them. Tried 3 cards from 2 difference cameras

It’s often a question of permissions. Ensure that the folder you are copying into has read & write privileges.

  • ITune will no longer download podcast episodes

Okay, as the subject line said, I can't no longer download any podcast episode.  This started to happen after I updated my Norton software last weekend.  Now I can't play any episodes that were downloaded before the Norton update.  I can still "grab" new episodes, but they show up with an exclamation mark right next to them as if the file hasn't been downloaded, but I can stream those files as if I am listening to internet radio.  Obviously, I can't import those new episodes to my iPod because they aren't downloaded files.  Also, my entire library of music are no longer playable in iTune as well.  As of now, the only thing iTune is good for on my computer is listening to podcast episodes through internet streaming.  I'm running a Window Vista 32-bit system.  Help, anyone?

  • My iPod classic will no longer download my podcasts

It has worked for years but now it will not download from iTunes' pane What gives?

Double check to make sure podcasts are configured to sync to your device from under the iPod's Podcast configuration tab.
To access the Podcasts tab for your iPod, plug your iPod in and click on it from under theDevices section in the left hand pane of iTunes.  This will bring you to the Summary tab. Along the top you should see a Podcasts tab, so go ahead and click on it.  Here you can configure how and what podcasts sync to your iPod.
If you do make any changes to do this tab, make sure to hit the Apply button in the lower right hand corner to apply the update changes to your device.
I assume you aren't receiving any error messages when you sync your iPod Classic with iTunes?

  • Iphoto will no longer download from camera

I have been using the earliest version of iphoto for several years and it worked great downloading from my Canon Powershot S1IS. About 6 months ago some of the images started coming in with parts grayed out, not all there, etc. Then it went through the entire download process with nothing showing up. I upgraded to iphoto 6. Now it tells me the images aren't a recognizable format. Any idea what the problem is? The camera/card works at digital output places???
    Mac   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

You might try downloading and running the 10.4.9 COMBO updater followed by a repair of disk permissions. It's been noted and recommended by Apple for a number of fixes, especially when incremental updates have been applied via Software Update.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Apps will no longer download or update since I updated to iOS 7 on my iPhone 5

    Hi,
I recently updated iTunes to 11.1 and then I updated my iPhone 5 to the new iOS 7.0.2 and I am having some major problems with my Apps.  Some crash right after opening them, such as Shazam and Instagram.  So I deleted them and tried to reload them.  That is when I found out the Apps would not reload.  I tried to reload them using the App Store App, I would click on the little icloud icon and I would only get a turning circle that would just keep turning and never reload the apps.  Same thing happens when I tried downloading a totally new app, I would click on install and the same turning circle would appear.  And when I try to update my apps the same thing happens.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it?  Thanks for your help.
Also, my texts are not going through.  I just read that this a top 5 problem with the new OS and apple is working on it.  Anyone know how that is going?

    Try this first...
Close All Open Apps...  Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

  • IPhone 5 will no longer download anything

    Hi all,
I've had a good search about on various sites including this one and can't find a solution and so hoped someone here might have an idea or suggestion.
My iPhone 5 has recently stopped downloading everything - podcasts through the podcast app, music through iTunes, new apps or updates through the App Store - none of them work now, but had worked fine previously.
I've tried deleting the apps that I had downloaded, performed a hard reset and synced phone with iTunes but nothing seems to get it working again.
    Any ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Ric

I find it extremely hard to believe that a software update has caused your port to bad. This sounds more like port just gave up at the same time as the update.
