I am studying and have had my apple ID disabled....To reset to purchase books I need to place another cc...this is day 2 now...it's Sunday and I do not want another cc !!! How frustrating is this !!!!!!

Get an HDMI switcher. Plug in the ATV directly to the TV and then use the switcher on the other input.

You can try signing out and signing back in. You can also go into Settings > Safari and Clear all Cookies. You can even try logging into the iTunes Store on a computer and downloading a free app or something.
If none of those work, then you will have to wait for the issue to be resolved on Apple's end.

Need to reinstall on my desk top but do not have another browser so I can ot get online to access the website to download.

What exactly you mean by, it does not works on Mobile devices ? The site does not opens at all ? If there is no rendition defined for Phone or Tablet then by default site will show desktop version.
In order to create Phone/tablet device you would need to create those where only structure and fills will be copied , rest for page contents you would need to design separately for all layouts.

Itunes keeps telling me "the registry setting for importing and exporting and burning cds are missing" reinstall itunes. I have reinstalled itunes about 30 times and still get the same message. I do not have another cd burning software loan

All clear? Hopefully. Backup your files to a external drive, cd or dvd, USB keye etc off your computer.
Run the sfx file on this site and it will burn to a cd.

Next hit your BIO's key and set the cd to boot first, run the scanner and see what it pops up.
If your all clear then create another Admin, transfer your files over from the first Admin.
See if that works, eventually when your totally over to the new Admin, delete the old one.
If you can't create a new Admin, find out who locked your machine down, like your parents or it's a school computer?
Likely installed spyware or "nanyware" to watch you.

When I try to download songs I've purchased from iTunes, I get an error saying, "You do not have the privilege to make changes." It's like the iTunes store thinks I'm trying to download the music to another account, but it's not. Any ideas?

Well mine is now ok.
I noticed that my iPhoto library (on an external disk) was not allowing write access and the drive had become locked, so to test, I migrated my library back to the main drive and set iPhoto to open that as the main library. I performed a sync with iTunes and all has gone trough fine.
Makes me happpy, as my next step was to factory reset the phone.

Hey all, I am new to the mac scene, and successully managed to transfer my itunes library from PC format to Mac format with the songs all stored on a USB Hard drive which works great.
However I have tried to rip a CD today and I get the following message:
"Error occured while converting the file - You did not have the privilege to make changes"
Why is this happening? Ive read that it may be a permission issue on the USB HD?
I have only had my mac for 1 day so my knowledge is very limited.
EDIT - Actually, could this be to do with how the USB is formatted? NTFS.
If so, will I have to buy another USB Hard Drive and literally drag and drop everything from the old one to the new one, formatted the correct way?

Mac OS X can natively read from, but not write to, NTFS formatted drives.

that would be ideal. format the drive for Mac (HFS+).
alternatively, you could try installing the _*NTFS 3G*_ driver on the Mac.

Solution:
Open Disk Utility.
Select your external hard disk and run a “verify” on it. After a few minutes (depending on the size of your drive), you should be good to go. You don’t need to run a “repair” on it... (at least I didn’t have to). See photo for reference.
This should fix the permissions issue, because on my Mac running Mountain Lion I was unable to edit the permissions in the get info dialog window even after "unlocking" the drive.

Um, it is difficult to be more specific than the link I posted, completely with nice picture of what things should look like . You get info on the iTunes folder and click the little triangles next to your name until the read and write combination appear, then apply to enclosed items, then close the window.

My i Tunes library is located in an external hard drive, but this has caused no problems before, nothing has changed in my system.

Check if you have read & write permissions on your iTunes folder.
in finder, right-click on it and get info. unlock the little padlock (you may have to enter your admin password) and change the permission settings. next, click on the little gear-shaped icon and apply to enclosed items like so

you may also give everyone read & write access. if this doesn't help, try the same on your iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music folder).
